music at the gym?

Just wanted to get a feel for what everyone listens to whilst moving so heavy ass iron! What gets you pumped? What makes you want to rip someone's toenails out? Or do you not need any music at all and just rely on thoughts or simply nothing? More than anything what gets you to that state where your looking at some serious weight and saying to yourself
"Fuck yes I can move this"?

Pandora on my iPhone and I listen to dance club music, I'm of the Ecstacy Era where you start friday and end when the pills run out sometime between Sunday and and Wednesday lol, So i listen to house music, not techno, hate that shit,

ANd i love Metal, but it doesn't pump me up anymore

House music huh? That's not something I expected. ABBA would've been my guess lol. Lately I've gone away from metal in the gym as often. Love it all the time but lately just been listening to a lot of douchey nu metal like Korn and shit like that

Heavy metal. Just downloaded The Browning and Eluveutte. Good music to get pumped up to.

I've always loved devildriver a lot more than coal chamber I really think it allowed more opportunities. Coal chamber always seemed like it was trying to play on some of the nu metal things back in the day like Korn and stuff but they're still definitely bad ass at times and groovey as hell

Devildriver is cool too. Most of my playlists are laden with Lamb of God, System of a Down, Korn, Rage Against the Machine, Pantera, Slipknot and on and on

Yea lately hard hard death metal like cannibal corpse and such haven't been getting me as pumped as Korn and even rammstein as of late

I caught them in concert in a small venue up home think it was 1998.
They put on a pretty good show

Tek 9, Trick Daddy, lil Jon and sometimes dem eastside boys. lol pretty anything with as much N and F bombs as possible. lol!

Me too! The late 90's early 2000's were AWESOME!
I was a hard core raver. Yep, glow sticks, UFO's, mickeys, vicks, and all that crazy stuff. P.L.U.R. (not a bad set of values though) LOL!
I also have some skills on the decks! Gave it all up 4 years ago when I became a Christian though.
Except for the music. It gets in your blood!

I am a big fan of Progressive Trance, but when I'm in the gym, I need something really heavy.
Dubstep/Drum & Bass/Trap/Progressive House!
Lately I have been going for Kill The Noise. That stuff will pump you up!

Afrojack, Firebeatz, Borgore, Dimitri Vegas, Laidback Luke, Zedd, Dada Life, Hardwell, Skrillex, and believe or not Krewella are all great for high energy workouts.

You can download full sets for all of them here: http://www.livesets.us/
It's a great place to get a lot of free music. I don't think it's illegal either, since they are sets/podcasts.

Yup, same here. Rap music gets me pumoed in the gym. Pandora- wirless headphones are a win - win for me.

I occasionally enjoy some rap but something about it never gets me super amped up.
It's probably because I don't have money or any of the "ho's" all the kids rave about
