Ok, so as some of you know i moved, and I'm in a very nice cul de sac neighborhood, and my very first night there, i come out to my truck and the windows are down! Now nothing was stolen however, someone got my windows down in y truck,

my neighbor i noticed is a locksmith, and on the side of his truck, i see he specializes in remote key starters and stuff like that, and then i googled my truck and found out that its pretty easy to electronically open my doors and windows and such, lol. I have a brand new pathfinder, but i read its easy for all new vehicles to have their doors and windows opened electronically which is how it looks like my windows were rolled down!

So my question is, anyone here, think it was my Lock Smith Neighbor welcoming me to the neighborhood lmao, and again, on the side of his box truck it says he specializes in keyless remote ignition keys and such,

last night i parked in the garage and wife parked in driveway cause i was worried they would come back and steal it! but I'm wondering if i take it to dealership, if they can read the computer on truck and tell me anything, or change my frequency on the remote starter and such

anyone know shit about this stuff?

You might have just been unlucky - he may have either been testing equipment, or working on someone *else's* truck and yours happened to respond too, caught in the crossfire, so to speak.

Before someone tells me it's not possible, they are all different - that's true about keys as well, but a family member had the experience where not only did his key unlock and start someone else's vehicle - it wasn't even the same *brand* of vehicle.

you know that exact thing did cross my mind! him testing equipment i mean.

He is younger though, and though I've been very polite to him and his wife when I've seen them , maybe he is a little dick wad who knows, lol,

My wife thinks its him lol, who the fuck knows!

Go over to his house and ask if he's been working on a vehicle with a remote. Seems like that would cause a bit less drama than fucking his wife :P
