Do you have neck/ upper back pain from sitting too much? Use the chair youβre sitting in for this exercise to find relief! Many people spend most of their day sitting, letβs face it, itβs unavoidable most of the time. Instead of blaming sitting for the problems though, letβs focus on the lack of movement! It is possible to find ways to move at your desk throughout the day, and here is just 1 option to keep your neck and upper back feeling right. Itβs not the posture that is the reason for your pain, itβs the duration of time you spend in that posture. Keep moving!
.
Chair Mobilization: find a chair where the back of it stops around the mid-shoulder blade region. Now with your hands behind your head, push back and hinge over the back of that chair. This is going to mobilize the upper back and neck to give you some relief throughout the day.
