I'd like to hear user experiences with Nipro brand syringes. So far for me, the regular 3cc syringes have been decently good although if you hit a vein and have to draw out, good luck trying to get it back in. It's like they use the softest metal so even piercing the skin one time seems to blunt them easily. Now the new slin pins they have look pretty cool. They have engineered them to have no dead space which is undoubtedly awesome. But again with the soft metal and easily blunted problem. Especially since you have to use it to pierce the top of your vial, and going through the rubber stopper blunts them so bad that I can't get them through to inject at all in most cases, at least in the batch that I recently bought. I'm hoping that they'll harden these buggers a little more in the future so they are resistant to blunting. Terumo still beats them hands down when it comes to staying sharp. I just wish they didn't have the dead space. Considering how much they blunt, I'd just rather pay the higher price for Terumo and lose a little bit from the injection rather than try to poke myself with a unsharp piece of metal.

I've used nipro and bd and like MountainMan said, I can't really tell the difference.
I'm having a bit more luck now with the Nipro slin pins. I find that if I go into the stopper very slowly, they won't blunt so much. Makes it a little easier, but they still do NOT like to go through scar tissue at all. I wish all stoppers were like the one on my insulin, doesn't blunt them at all.
sounds a little counter intuitive to me anyhow, as I would guess that that the faster you went the less chance of it getting blunt. In any case, havent used NIPRO

nipro has a thinner wall. the outside is the same size in whatever size it is you're using, but the inside is slight bigger. hence, it allows you to push a thicker substance through it easier, but also causes it to blunt easier. i use them quite a bit and i like them. they are inexpensive, so i would just change the needle to re-stick. i use two needles already, one to draw up, which blunt just about any needle, especially if you use more than one substance in your syringe, and another to pin with.
I've been using the Easy Touch for a while now, and they are pretty good.
