Overtraining thoughts?

As I'm back in the gym after a very long layoff, I'm trying to train as often as I can, even twice a day when I can, so I find myself training body parts every other day or third day, basically 3 times a week. I never really did believe in overtraining, and can say that I don't feel as if I'm overtraining now. Now I will say, that if I had a great training partner and really was pushing to the max like I used to, things may be different, but just want to say, that if you are not training like maniac in the gym, you may want to train body parts more often and see how you feel.

If I had more time to train, I would hit the gym twice per day. I really like my morning sessions, but I would also like a light to moderate session in the evening, partially because it helps me to exhaust myself so I can sleep.

While on i can hit a major every 3rd day but I find I can't train like that for many months I end up injured so I try to take a few days off right after cycle. It's tough I look forward to working out daily but rest is important

Edit i do legs one day back next and then chest throwing in pushing and pulling shoulders eery other workout with either chest or back

I've been doing 2 a day's quite a bit lately when I get time, but it does wear down on ya. I don't sleep much though & that can make a big difference! Definitely got to have a rest day in there, when needed

As I have gotten older, I have found that I cannot train like I use to. I have to let the old body rest.
