PeakO2 is a blend of mushroom extracts(Cordyceps, Reishi, King trumpet, Shiitake, Lion's Mane and Turkey tail) that has data suggesting a 17.6% increase in power output vs an 11.8% decrease in the placebo. It also suggests a 70s increase in time to exhaustion vs 5s increase in the placebo. The mechanism of action seems to be an increase in uptake and utilization of oxygen durning exercise. Suggested dose is between 2-4g/d. There seems to be a buildup/loading phase of 2 weeks and then the dose drops. There is data to show that there's no difference in 1g/d vs 2g/d once you reach that saturation point. I used this product for 30 days and I really felt a difference in how long I could train before fatigue sets in, as well as increase in strength and number of sets and reps. I just started to take it again this week, so I'll see how I feel over the next few weeks.
