Q. Hi, first off, thanks for being here answering questions for everyone. I think this is great to have to have you here.I'm in my early 40s, lifting for 14 years but just got back in the saddle from 2 years off. I'm about to start my 2nd cycle this year. It's all Geneza...test enth 500 mg/wk, deca 400mg week (M/T pins), and winny. My body responds great to winny. I plan to start deca test at the same time and then add winny for the last 8 week of the 13 week cycle. winny 25 mg a day wks 7-9 then 50mg a day for weeks 10-13. does that sound right to you or would you move the winny to the middle or beginning of the cycle? Diet is in check and my last cycle was good, no issues with sides, good pct with hcg, clomid, arimidex and Aegis (TUDCA). I gained 17 lbs of muscle after I dropped the little water I had. Any advice with this test/deca winny cycle would be appreciated. Thanks
A. personally, i save the hardeners for a cutting cycle. i feel that its best to dedicate a cycle to moving in one direction, either building mass or cutting down. if mass is the goal, i would prefer to find another compound that would be better suited for size gains. tbol, dbol, drol,*bolasterone, TNE. i never let myself get too far out of shape, but i do blow up and try to stay as big as possible in the mass gaining phase. winstrol may add to your gains. it is good for strength and if one can get stronger, while eating enough food, one can produce new muscle. personally though, i dont view it as the best choice for adding size. just my opinion. for what you're doing, it work out just fine. i bet that you'll do great! as far as dosing, i think you look good. winstrol is one of those things that i like to be very careful with. i feel that from the moment i take the first shot or pill, i'm on borrowed time, waiting for my joints to get too dry and painful to function. after 6 wks, i expect to be feeling the effects. 8 wks is my outside limit on winny. its a lot easier to get hurt with dry joints, connective tissue and muscle, so be careful. i believe that deca does a solid job at counter acting that effect and having had deca in your system for awhile before you start is probably going to be to your advantage. your dosing looks perfectly fine. in fact, i run it in a similar fashion in contest prep. make sure you get plenty of fish oil on this cycle. its a great natural anti inflament and it will also benefit your cholesterol. winny is wicked on your ldl/hdl profile. thats another reason i reserve it for hard dieting. *
at your age, i would make sure you use HCG again on this cycle. as you probably know, it can get harder to recover as we get older and it can get harder to recover, the more cycles you've done. plus certain compounds can shut you down harder than others. deca is probably the worst i've run into, so hit the hcg throughout and you'll have a better fighting chance. *
