Q. Im on the younger side. Im 22. I've found steriods very interesting for many years. Ive done research papers covering the topic. I understand they are not as bad for you as people think if used responsibly. Runing a basic cycle (250-350test e+arimidex pct nolva 40w1 20w2) at my age what type of long term risks am I putting myself under?
A. big one I would be concerned about is the potential shut down or reduction of natural test production. If you cycle, be sure to keep your cycles short and sweet with low doses as you are proposing. 10 wks is plenty to make some good gains. I would run some HCG through the cycle at 250iu 2x wk, up to 3 days before PCT. And then be sure to do a full PCT after your cycle. These things will help to ensure recovery but nothing is going to be 100%*guaranteed.*
There are other potential health issues that can come up. A lot of this depends on your genetics. If you have a history of cholesterol problems with you or your family, high blood pressure with you or your family, if you liver has been beaten up from partying...these are all factors that could play a role. Your best option...really, the only option, is to get some lab work done before the cycle to make sure that you aren't showing any signs of a problem with cholesterol, liver kidney, and test levels. I would then get labs done again after PCT and check them against the first set of labs. This will show you how much you have been effected.
*I have seen guys do really well on low doses of gear. I have spoken before about a guy I worked with a few months back, that gained 25 lbs on 1cc test EW and was able to maintain 12-14 lbs after the fluid had dropped.*
