A revolutionary healing art that really works for you!Scaring Therapy, known as Gua Sha in China for over a thousand year, is a healing art based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and used throughout Asia. How does Scraping Therapy work?
The Scraping Therapy is used to release the body of blood stagnation. Blood stagnation is considered to be the cause of many diseases in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). To visualize this, you may want to compare the water from a running stream versus the water in a still stagnant pond. The stagnant pond will be full of gunk, green moss and other growths while the running stream will have clear water. Our entire blood circulation is very similar to this. When the blood is not flowing properly, it starts to become stagnant and creates an environment more suitable for disease.

This is why Scraping is such a useful technique. It can quickly release blockages in your body caused by stagnant blood. This is because it mimics sweating and promotes body fluid circulation which helps to normalize cellular metabolic processes and release toxic waste from your deep cellular tissues. It also increases blood and qi circulation to help oxidize your cells as well as nourish them.

The Benefits
Scraping has two main functions where it both nourishes and detoxifies:
1st, the stroke action used to release petechiae to the surface of the skin, forces more blood and oxygen to the area treated which helps to nourish those cells.

2nd, the red spots on the skin become a byproduct that signals the body to do a sweep up of the area so that it eliminates both the dead blood cells as well as other toxins that surfaced towards the skin during the Scraping process.

After a treatment, the patient often has immediate relief from pain, headaches, fever, chills, cough, chest pains, nausea, stiffness, etc. After a series of treatments Scraping is able to release enough toxins to allow the body to find inner balance.

Besides curing diseases, scrape therapy may build one's body, prevent diseases and help lose weight. Under the stimulation of scrape therapy, more blood serum will be produced to improve the body's immunity.

Process
Before the process, daub the skin with oil. Then scrape the skin with a scraper (special scraping equipments). Always scrape the skin in the same direction and continue until the skin is red and purple marks appear( indicating the locations of sick muscles ). The intensity, the speed, duration, depth of the action, and the location of scrape, all have direct impact over the curative effects.

No damaged for the skin and the tissues with the scraper. You will only feel a very little bit pain of blockage tissues while scraping ---- no pain among the healthy tissues. Although there are some red spots on the skin after the treatment, As a matter of fact, the red spots mean some toxins or wastes coming out from the sick tissues. it’s quit different from the bruise or hemorrhage and the red spots will fully disappear within 3 to 7 days due to the promoted metabolism.

What does the color of the Red Spot(sha) indicate?
Very Light Colored Sha -------- Blood Deficiency
Fresh Red Sha ---------------------- Recent Penetration
Purple or Black Sha------------ Long Term Blood Stasis
Brown Sha --------------------------- Blood may be dry
Dark Red Sha ----------------May indicate heat in blood

After Scraping Therapy, you should keep warm (avoiding wind,
or sudden change in temperature, cold shower as well as cold drink ) to ensure your body’s boosted metabolism and self-healing process working well. Stretching is recommended but not a heavy workout on the day of treatment.
In some cases, some people may have the go-better reactions ( like feeling sore, tired or even sick ) for a few days. Then afterwards, as the red spots fading, you can feel the improvement throughout body, especially the problems treated.

How long does it take the petechiae to fade?
The Red (sha) usually fades within 3 to 10 days. If it takes longer to fade, this often indicates poor blood circulation and the practitioner should provide you with further advice on how to improve your overall circulation. With continuous Scraping therapy, the red spot will start to fade faster which will be a good sign since it’s an indication of better blood circulation.

Who needs the Scraping Treatment
People who has pain, aches, tenderness, or tension in the muscles. scraping therapy can prevent the common cold, flu, bronchitis, asthma, as well as any other chronic disorders that involve the congestion of blood and qi.

  • For health care be recommended once a month.

Note:
Make sure after a treatment you allow your body to rest in order to get the full detox benefits. This means no drugs, alcohol, sex, fasting, binging, hard labor, strenuous exercises, etc. for the rest of the day.

Also, make sure you drink lots of warm water after the treatment as well as the next couple of days to keep your body well hydrated so that it can properly eliminate toxins released during the treatment.
