Shoulders lagging

PUMPED

New member
So a buddy of mine who works as a electrician is having problems with shoulder development. Most of his day is holding shit above his head and between job and routine I am leaning toward over training shoulders.

His current routine:
Sunday- chest
MOnday - back
tues - off
wed - shoulders
thurs- arms
fri- legs
sat - off
sun - repeat

My plan for next 3 weeks to see if we notice a change

sun - chest, side delt laterals
mon - off
tues - back, rear delt laterals
wed- off
thu - legs
fri - arms
sat- off

No shoulder pressing at all.

Thoughts?

i like it, especially side delts after chest, as fronts are bieng used as stabilizer muscle to the chest more often then we probably should lol, and same for rears and back, but for someone who is likely over training them between work and training, i think its a solid idea, i mean you can always tweak it for him according to how he feels and responds

I use the press behind neck on the Smith machine to train shoulders. I attribute much of my shoulder gains to this exercise. I watched You-tube videos of Kevin Levrone and other bodybuilders use this exercise and they have outstanding shoulder development.

My shoulders are probably my best body part, and is my shortest workout. Side lateral raises with dumbbells to warm them up and hit the medial heads first. Then presses with dumbells. Then rear delts with cables. Then side lateral raises to burn out with cables. I train traps with back.

i never got into behind the neck presses! but my shoulders are pretty nice, my traps are retarded, but shoulders are ok, and i always bang the back of my fucking head whenever i tried behind the neck presses lol,

I have always been told that you will be able to do behind the neck press or you won't. And I can't kills my joints, but my favorite is standing dumbbell press with everything pulled back like I would be doing behind the neck press awesome pump no pain
