The left hand side of my back (the trap area) has been 'paining' for about a week now. It is like a sore cut feeling that burns and stings.
It erupts at night when I am lying down. I tried lying slant, doesn't help. I tried sleeping on that side, sleeping on the other side, doesn't help.
Usually I get this for 1 day post training, put some muscle pain gel on it, and am as good as new. This one doesn't seem to be recovering.
I used a roller also everyday before sleeping to press it. It doesn't really get better.
When I am standing or training, there is no pain. When I am seated I get some ache. It is the worst lying down.
My PT said it could be overstretched but then I am not sure what to do about it.
Any ideas what it could be?
