Site Issues?

Anyone else having trouble loading the forums? I've had this happen for months. Does the site work better or worse with certain browsers?

What just the top forum stats area? Someone else said it wasn't loading for them and on my Mac book pro it loads sometimes and blank other times but always loads stats area at top on my phone so I figured it was that my Mac book needed to update my java as its out dated

I've been having issues as well with loading in general. Lots of times I try to like a post and it's hung up and wont let me like. I have to close the window and open a new one.

Yeah, just that area that shows Newest Members, Most Popular Forums, and Latest Posts. It could be a java issue...I intentionally keep an older version on my computer, because of a work issue.

hmm, speed and loading is fine on all my devices and lap tops, and our google speed test is pretty high for desktops and mobiles, but i will look into all of this stuff today and see if i cant figure out why this would be for some and not others.

Yeah, just that area that shows Newest Members, Most Popular Forums, and Latest Posts. It could be a java issue...I intentionally keep an older version on my computer, because of a work issue.

yeah, that is the only area i have issues as well, but I'm writing this from Internet Explorer browser and that top stats area is loading perfect every time, whereas on Google Chrome Browser which is my main default browser, that top area is hit or miss whether it loads through or not.

So it must be a GOOGLE CHROME BROSWER issue, but not sure why that would be.

and in terms of site speed and pages loading like Masher said, the entire sites and threads and forums all load perfect for me and pretty fast on all devices without a hangup

Masher what browser are you using that your experiencing page load hangups

I use Google Chrome also, so that could be it too. The site loads very quickly, but as you say, the top stats box is hit or miss on opening or not.

i'll see if this stats plugin / add on has any updates that need to be implemented , as we've had this stats plugin for many many years, and not sure if there are any updates to the software or patches that need addressing

I'm using Google Chrome also and lots of times I use my phone as a hotspot and link my Chromebook to it to check on the site when I'm out and about. That may be my issue as well.

Masher what browser are you using that your experiencing page load hangups

Same thing with chrome.
