? About in some guys feel why about asking about it in open forums I would rather that they post there ? So we could all learn but some guys will not. Just trying to help guys out
 
Mountainman - I just recently picked up a bottle of Walgreens Novolin R. If I understand correctly, this begins activity at about 30min and can continue for up to 8hrs after pin. My question to you would be what's the best way to incorporate this into my training? Would like to limit it to one shot on training days only. Ive never used slin before so I was looking to see how to get started. I know it can be very dangerous so I didn't want to start until I had a plan going. Do you have a simple protocol I could use? My plan was to inject about 6 units 2 hours before training and then ingest roughly 60 g of carbs. Following the 10g/unit plan.

Really I just need a beginners plan to follow.

I have used slin before, Humalog, but I've never done it pre workout. Is Humulin better to use for this purpose since it's a little longer acting? How do you keep from going hypo during the workout? I'd expect you'd need to be sipping carbs all through the workout, but I find that drinking carbs sometimes interferes with the workout because of blood being diverted to digest.
 
Helix I have never used n just humalog fast acting slin with the longer acting slin u need carbs for six hrs after u pin it I would try and get humalog brother it's a lot easier to Handel the sides and crashes stay away from the r unless u have a lot of experience with it. Slin for me is used post workout only with 10-15 grams of carbs per iu. I don't shoot it preworkout ever. If u get the fast acting slin I would be happy to make a cycle plan for u
 
Also yells if ur gonna use the r type slin start with 4 iu post workout keep glucose tabs on hand get 10-15 g of carbs per iu brother over the next 6 hrs make sure to have some carbs in ur system then u can work ur dose up as u get use to the way r slin affects u. I would not go over 10 of r-type slin just watch out for feeling sleepy or dizzy 1 hr after u pin that is a symptom of diabetic shock happened to me a few times that is why I say keep glucose tabs or even snicker bars on hand

Ok thanks, i have plenty of waxy maize I can use in case of a problem. Do you think I should try to get the faster acting slin? If so I could run it the same way right just a little safer than the long acting?

I strongley suggest u get the fast acting slin for ur first cycle of it let me know when u have it and I will make a custom cycle for u brother it is a lot safer than r-type
