I think Ive found my next one. Im not one of those guys that picks something randomly out of the book. Its gotta have some kind of meaning for me, since its gonna be on me till I die. I'm looking at a dragon koi tat, I like the meaning of it. I know I lot of people have them and I will draw my own(pretty good at drawing).

nice, im fixing to ad to my back piece and across the waist. agree with taking you time drawing and thinking of what it means to you. all mine have a deap meaning to me.

Nothing wrong with that tat, I know many that have it, but each have their own unique style/art with it, which in returns makes it even more awesome.

I just finished up some work on my chest, adding to the rest of the body, I'm so incomplete it's not even funny, so many ideas I have, but not enough room anymore. lol

Get that dragon in a Black/white, negatives always look awesome.

Down the back and on one side would look wild.. or on the side of the rib cage. To really jazz it up, you can have hidden words in the dragon that only you will know about and that will stand for what ever trials and tribulations you been through. Just an idea!

Black and white negative does sound cool. Going to get me a new sketch pad.

Post a pic after you draw it up! :)

I'm dying to add to my half sleeve... maybe once my shows are over, I can finally do that this fall. It's been 3 years since I've had anything done. I lost a few piercings, so I need to get some holes re-punched too!

I have a lot of traditional Japanese stuff. I have a dragon, koi, hannya mask, samuri, oni. I have some tribal stuff and I have a St Micheal since I was a paratrooper. I am by far nowhere near done. I have lots and lots of ideas of things to get tattooed.

Of all the arts, the Japanese stuff is by far the coolest. Besides I think they are a very honorable people.

Its becoming more and more mainstream and socially acceptable. My wife has a few. I love ink on women.

Love the St.Michael. I too have a big one on me, my most favorite piece

Mine is a bit different then yours I am guessing. I'll see if I can get a picture of it and post it.
Mine is very Diff too. I wanted to the one where he is holding the scale, and stepping on the devils head, but I found an even better one that I came up with.. It's a very different pic of him, holding the devil from behind grabbing him from his horns pealing his head back, and getting ready to cut his throat with his sword. It's wild!

He's holding the scales and has the devil on one side and you cannot see it but there is a cherub on the other side. Its very Renascence.

Love it... fantastic! I like the detail in his chest plate.. min he has on a basic Roman chest plate, but looks bad ass. I'll get a pic up too

Boomer - you ever enter any tattoo competitions with that? Curious to know how you would do!

I actually entered it in the Aussie expo last year but it was half finished at the time, I got second Pla e for best colourd leg. The guy who beat me was also tattooed by my tattooist.. Both the guy and my tsttooiest believe now that my leg is finished that I would take out first place. I'm waiting for the next expo to enter again but come august I start another big piece on my shoulder/arm/ribs

Good luck with that, it looks really nice

Well I settled on one, tried to draw my own but I kept changing something and started over so I found one I liked. Gonna changed a few things on it, but we start the outline tomorrow.

Niceee, I think I remember you mentioning something about that. I'm sure the contest could easily be yours this year! The colors are really bright and vibrant!

Congrats, and good luck with everything... you're making me wanna get more work done!

Hm...the characters in that tattoo say "ta ni ya" and "a ra na" in Japanese katakana, but they don't really mean anything to me.
