Hello everyone, 50 yo and have been on TRT for 7 years @ 200mg per week. (test cyp). Total T runs around 500-600. New Doc wants me to try BioTe pellets. Says he'd like to get my levels up to 1500-2000. Wow!!! Don't know anything about the pellets other than they're not covered by my insurance and will cost a minimum of $1K every six months. Wow again!!! Thoughts?

I wouldn’t, but that’s just me. I just don’t like the sound of pellets being implanted in me to dissolve. Besides, I’ve never heard of that TRT. Is it new? Sometimes doctors will get compensated for getting patients to try new medications. Same with experimental treatments. Not saying that’s what’s going on here, I’ve just never heard of it. And if insurance won’t cover it, that’s a red flag to me.

Synovex h conversions , anyone remember those days ? Making tren from pellets was far easier than the testosterone pellets and separating the estrodial

being fairly new to all this and having done research to see what was available for trt, i read about pellets. as for me, i'd rather not try them and you can reach high levels of test just by using injectables. far cheaper and i would think less painful than a pellet shot under your skin. i've read about patches as well, but i wouldn't use them either. i think the oral and injectable is the way to go. jmho.

From what I understand pellets are not yet approved so insurance not covering until!!

My sister had full hysterectomy and she been on pellets with added vitamins also in pellets. Pretty sure testosteroneis only hormone though. Pretty sure a couple other women in my family on it as well...
Most men in my family or on TRT and those not have tried to get on it....

Anyway I believe it comes out to 100$ per month because its 300$ every 3 months here. Where she goes and she is a Dr, just saying it's 300$ every 3 months too.... she has also been a fitness machine all her life, the pellets helped her hormones and mood plus bones but she put on some weight, higher BMI and body fat %. She says it's cause she stopped workout so much and got on anti-depressant for anxiety and tension...

One gym I go to, there are 2 girls (they a couple)
One has all license to own clinic overseen by a Dr, and other is Nurse Practitioner with a bunch of school and degrees on hormone replacement. Their clinic is 300$ every 3 months as well. They offered me a better deal if I promoted them some in our surrounding communities, and to do all my labs if I didn't opt to switching.
Not free labs but any order I may need as they knew I was training and using more than my test cyp!!

Anyway the total cost with labs and the pellet injection at these places around home 300 every 3 months!!
It's not bad deal at all. My lab deductible for my insurance was 500$ a year with one provider then now it's been 1000 per year with newest provider..

If I would have to ever go to jail for example serve say 6 months, this would be perfect if one can get 6 months worth. I think one can too once stable on dose with labs proving it, get 6 months worth!!!
For those who Gotta work away in places they can't bring their TRT and pins this is great option.
Or also for a jail stay. Just saying!! Lmao!!!
But heard it works well by many, but wouldn't pay more than 300 every 3 months or 100 month as it's going rate here!!
Many HRT clinics here doing the pellet thing... also some with Sermerolin and a couple other peptides.
We have HGH clinics here too but TRT with Hgh is monthly around 2000$ with meds provided thru clinic.
I know some folks that afford this for 2 of them like nothing and they look great and in mid 50's. They look so young the benifits are obvious..

Sorry if I got off subject but wanted to share cost of different things as well. For my TRT with internal med Dr my insurance covers it as it's not for anti-aging but for testicle failure hypogondism!! I pay 40$ copay at Dr every 6 months, copay on Pharma test is 30$ each time I get vial (every 60 days) but my labs have the 500-1000$ deductible per year with all providers I have had...

I may look into other route myself or TRT online think I saw a place..... Gotta see if still here or there..
