torn bicep

hector

Banana
my worst fears came true yesterday and not in the gym but on the job site. was loading ply wood on a trailer to take to another job and was careing 2 full sheets when i felt my right bicep pop could not hold on to the ply wood instantly dropping it. felt like someone had hit me in the bicep with a sledge. so i started tearing my shirts off to see if it was rolled up into my shoulder. thank god it wasnt, but my lower bicep is almost non existent compared to my left. waiting to see when my mri is from work. hopfefully it is not bad but it looks fucked.

man I hate it for you. That is some of the worst pain. Just be sure to have a doc look at it. I know its a set back from the gym, but you will bounce back. I have tore my pecs many times and my quad and was on crutches for a few months, but im back bigger and stronger than I have ever been. Just keep your head up and dont get so down on it.

same here, peck and hamstring. Not ligament damage though. thats the key. Hope your is the same..

Good luck bro hopefully they can take care of it. Take it easy and youll bounce back.

sorry to hear this hector, i am pretty sure its not so bad when it doesnt curl totaly up so u have something in ur favor, gotta always look at the bright side of things which is this.............it could have been worse!

That really sucks bro...but keep your head up and keep them legs growing!!!
i do plan on spending alot of time on the legs. maybe get my legs up to where i want them. waiting for my works insurance to call me to let me know where and when the mri is to be done. cant wait to see what kind of set back/damage i am faceing. i wouldnt wish this shit on anyone.

sorry to hear bro..... i think i have somthing similar going on, except nothing popped, it just hurts...... and i have no health care dammit...

is it up near the shoulder socket itself? If so its prob not too terrible they can reattach that pretty easily a few months of rehab etc. and you will prob be good to go. If its in the middle or a quarter of the way into the bicep or so then its not so easy that means you torn where the muscle and tendon come together. I have the 2nd one and it sucks. wish you the best bro.
