Offseason training has been great the last 2-3 weeks. I have been hitting it, really hard the past few weeks. I think overall, im getting thicker, and keeping a decent amount of leaness. Weight today is 255lbs. I think with a few more months of good training, I can come into Jr.Nats or Master Nationals in my best shape ever.
 
are you doing an off-season diet? Insulin?

yeah offseason diet, if you want to call it that. I eat clean most of the time, but I have my junk to. Carbs are pretty high, and fats are moderate. Protein ofcourse is high. Insulin, I decided to cut back to just 1 or 2 days a week. Im playing around with it, just because I feel like if I run it everyday. I just get bloated and fat with it. But, if I do it just on a couple days a week, I feel fuller, but not bloated from it. Say, like saturdays, start out with 10 iu's with morning meal, then 10 post workout, then 5 iu's later that evening. Consuming tons of carbs that day, then doing it later in the week, on a bigger bodypart day. Say like legs or back...but like I said nothing is set in stone either.
 
You are definitely looking good man. Staying lean will certain pay huge dividends come show time

yeah, I was thinking of bulking up to over 270lbs..but decided agaist that. Being that I feel like hell once over 260lbs, and my health goes to hell after I hit a certain weight. BP, heart rate, ect, ect...lots of issues if i dont take care of myself. so I have decided being leaner and trying to grow lean would be best for me. So far its been working well, as I do better in a leaner state. Goals are still to do jr.nats but master might be better situation with the time peroid I have to work with
 
Being lean is the way to go. I did that for my last show and I came in the best condition I'd ever been in and it was a relatively easy prep in comparison to the others. You should notice this as well.
