Since I screwed-up last nights leg training I went in today and super-setted squats and pumping leg presses. Just basic and heavy....man that was great!
you super set those 2? ouch! I like it! I might have to try that later. How many plates you using on those KR? I have gone as heavy as 20 plates for 7 reps on presses and 405 on squats for 4 or 5. Not much but I'm growing those stubborn b@stards!

With a superset like that you don't need much! It was exhausting but so basic & simple that it just seemed like the thing to do on a saturday, lo-carbed afternoon!
I went 315 squat for 8 to the leg press, only 5 plates/side on it and did "pumping press", just keeping the movement between the 1/3 to 2/3 positions and pumping it non-stop at a fairly quick pace, no lockout no bounce. It just engorges the quads with blood so bad you can hardly move! Normally I can do 30 reps like that but when supersetting I dropped to 15.
