It looks like I may not be competing at the Southern States or who knows when. Things just have been tough around here, money wise. And I am getting tierd of robbing peter to pay paul to try and make it work for this show. Its just putting alot of stress on me and my girl. But it is just not looking good right now. This sucks and I am pissed. My legs were coming in great aswell. Just my luck. :curse:

Sorry to hear that Bro. I'm not doing the North Americans for the same reason. It costs so much to compete. It's crazy.

Same reason I opted to pass on this years Southern States. I feel for ya man. Hopefully you can get things together for next year and I can see you on stage!

agreed. Sucks that your not doing the show bro but look at the bright side gives you more time to put on mass and keep your body improving. Sorry to hear but keep hitting it hard your getting better and better.

Money thing sucks bro...you could really made a name for yourself at that show...

Keep dieting and training hard...keep putting your name out there...Let people know who you are...You never know, you might get someone to help you out...

Never give up

Exactly like they all said, bro. I sucks, but now you have more time to get ready, bigger, leaner, and more mentally prepared. Find the silver lining on this cloud and cash that fuggin thing in. Don't quit... never quit.
Speaking as somebody who almost lost his family chasing the dream, it's not worth it. Get things right with yourself, with your family/girl, and keep pushing forward. It will work out in the end, and you will put yourself ahead of the curve.

I know the guys are right, but I would be upset too... when you have your eyes on a goal and it has to change, it can be disappointing. Who knows though... everything happens for a reason and maybe there's a damn good reason and something even bigger and better is around that next corner when you DO compete again!

It really is fxcking expensive... recently, Jon and I were trying to compare who spends more on shows.

Him = supplements, gear, $20 suit, tanning product
Me = supplements, $350 suit, tanning product, nails (I do my own hair + makeup to save money)

But when you compare gear to my suit, it kind of balanced out, lol. Still though... I saw my credit card bill yesterday and I can honestly say that I don't want to see it again for a verrrrry long time. Shit adds up so damn quick!

finances suck bro. Think of it as more time to get even better looking for the next one. Legs are looking much better too

thanks for the support. I talked with my trainer last night and he told me not to let it get me down as well. Just like some of you have said he said just look at it as opportunity to bring up my legs and get better. As at my height(5'10") I need to be a superheavy anyhow. So the plan as of now is to really bring up my legs and be a superheavy next year, at the southern states.

I had a double whopper for BK today and damn it was good! lol!

Good luck bro, keep us posted and now you just made me crave a double whopper. Bad thing is, there is a BK a mile down the road.. bastard

I'm glad my new office isn't near anything, fast food wise. It makes it easier to control the devil giving me cravings. lol

There will always be another show. Personal life is more important IMHO. It still sucks for sure. I'm sure you will use it to be bigger, harder, leaner in the next show you choose to do.

PS. Thinking about the stupid double whopper is giving me the hunger pains :(
