Wesley Vissers is the 2024 Arnold Classic Physique UK champion. Vissers was the last man standing out of seven contestants at the NEC in Birmingham, England, during the opening night of the 2024 Arnold Classic UK on Friday, March 15, 2024.
Former two-time Classic Physique Olympia winner Breon Ansley finished runner-up, and Urs Kalecinski won bronze. The results are below:

Prejudging Highlights
The contestants were introduced to the audience and judges on the morning of March 15, 2024. The prejudging round, when athletes need to be at their best, followed shortly thereafter.
Vissers lived up to that challenge, appearing even leaner than he was in Columbus at the 2024 Arnold Classic Physique US contest, which he won. Ansley, Kalecinski, and Daboul joined Vissers in the callouts.
Those four were among the front runners in the contest two weeks earlier, and the same occurred in Birmingham. While the judges switched the order occasionally, these athletes were the likely top four heading into the finals.
Finals Recap
All seven athletes performed individual routines at the evening finals. Head judge Steve Weinberger called the bodybuilders to centerstage for the confirmation round.
Kalecinski, Ansley, Vissers, and Daboul stood in that order for their callout. All four appeared calm and cool. The athletes were called to posedown by announcer Bob Cicherillo before the award ceremony that featured Kalecinski winning bronze, Ansley scoring silver, and Vissers earning gold for his second consecutive Arnold contest.

Promoter Arnold Schwarzenegger presented him with the champion’s trophy, just as he did in Columbus, OH, two weeks prior. With this win secured, Vissers is considered a top contender for the 2024 Classic Physique Olympia throne, currently occupied by five-time champion Chris Bumstead. That showdown will occur in Las Vegas, NV, on the weekend of Oct. 10-13, 2024.
The 2024 Arnold Classic UK weekend continues on Saturday, March 16, 2024, with the Men’s Open final and Bikini, Men’s Physique, and Wheelchair competitions. A free livestream with replays is available for fans to watch on the Arnold Sports UK website.
