So, I love me some Greek yogurt. I will usually eat it with a fruit cup mixed in, but have made several things with it. Anything that you would use sour cream with, we substitute it with Greek yogurt. I love making alfredo sauce with it, you would never know the difference. One time I screwed up making the alfredo sauce and the yogurt turned in to a rubbery block, so I decided to grade it and treat it as cheese. Now every time I make homemade pizza, I use Greek yogurt as the cheese. The kids love it and you can't tell the difference.

Well today I ran out of my fruit cups and I desperately wanted my Greek yogurt fix. So I took a scoop of my chocolate protein powder, with a little milk, and added it to the yogurt. WOW..... it tasted just like chocolate pudding! The kids also loved it. What a great "healthy" snack packed with protein.

What are some of your favorite concoctions that you have come up with? What are some of your favorite healthy snacks you like to eat? I would love to hear from all of you, so please chime in.
 
I love making different things with ground beef of chicken like a taco bowel or rice corn cheese and ground beef I'm simple but love it hot use a lot of hot sauce and peppers make my belly happy. Also really big on low sodium marinades
 
Any thing with tons of protein .I have a cheat meal and food picture log on another forum.a lot of people like to add there pics it gives me ideas.

I for one must confess I hate making food, but do it because I have to. My favorite would be the most simple....................steel cut oats soaked overnight with water. Heat in the morning add protien..........my breakfast for the last 5 years simple, boring, yet effective.

I thought I was the only one who soaked steel cut oats overnight. Lol. Microwave 45 seconds, add a spoon full of pb, and chug 2 cups of egg whites right before. Breakfast made and ate in under 2 - 3 minutes.
 
I mix steel cut oats with coaches oats,grits,and malto meal.PJ and raisens.
Sounds crazy but I like it
 
During my bulk I mixed it up added raisens and quinoa...........still soaked it overnight.

I read an article recently about soaking grains and how it is very benifical to soak stuff. I wish I could easily find these article.

You mentioned quinoa, I love that stuff. Never had it with raisins, sounds good.
