I am 45 years old 5'11 and fluctuate between 185lbs to 190lbs with body fat at 11%. I was very active in martial arts and weight training from my late teens to my late twenties and stopped in my early 30's to focus on career and building a family. At 40 (4 kids later and finished) I decided to get back to training but really struggled to put on weight (I weighed 160lbs at the time, 30lbs less than when I was in my twenties) and a friend of mine suggested I get blood work done so I did. Come to find out I was really low in my T-level at 234, the Doc looked at me and said he was surprised I was still able to walk. To make a long story short he put me on 200MG of Test C and I have been on it as TRT treatment and I plan on being on it probably until I die. Anyways, after 5 years of training, eating very clean, and working out hard I look and feel great and have a very athletic look similar to Jean-Claude Van Damme's physique except my upper body is bigger with smaller legs. Because my father was part Flamingo my legs are strong but undersized, even with Test C it looks like my genetic markers have reached their limit. I eat between 3k to 4K calories a day and do focus on legs 1-2 times a week (depending on how my rest days land) I try to keep my squatting (Olympic style/ass to grass) reps in the 15 to 20 reps between 60-85% of my one rep max with increasing weight per set following principles of the latest science and Golden Age pros like the Golden Eagle... along with Hex Bar quad centric deadlifts on other leg days as my two major lifts, obviously along with calves and hamstring focus as well. I would like to put on no more than 15lbs of muscle with the hopes of getting a few more inches on my legs and was wondering if doing a cycle of say 400MG of EQ along with my Test C of 200MG would this help me achieve this goal in one 12-16 week cycle?
After doing research this is the cycle I am most comfortable with using due to health concerns, I have no intentions of competing or anything like that, this is just a personal goal that I would like to achieve and was wondering from people who are knowledgeable on this subject if this is something that would be attainable? From what I read EQ will boost my appetite (which I need because I am not a big eater, in fact, I wish I could just eat 2k a day) keep lean and give me more stamina to take it to the next level and because of my TRT I would then just continue to stay on my Test C afterwards.
Sorry for the novel but I wanted all of you to have the adequate info so you could be honest with me, 200lbs of lean muscle is my goal and after 5 years and trying and test level around 900-1000 (average blood test score over the last several years) I can't get over 190lbs and staying as lean and vascular throughout my whole body the way I like and legs get stronger but don't grow. If you think this is something that would help me accomplish this please let me know, I'm looking for honesty so it's ok if you think this is a pipe dream due to your experience. I can live with that, any suggestion or advice is also appreciated, and thank you for your time and wisdom.
