Working out too fast?

Is it just me or do some of you guys spend very little time at the gym? I mean I speed through my entire workout in less than 30 mins and even the front desk people have commented "Already done?"...lol. I've always been like this - Giving myself maybe 30 seconds-1min between sets and on to the next. I do the exercise itself moderately slow and controlled though.

Do you guys think there is any issue with working out like this?

i've gotten great workouts in under 45min. if you do 6 different excercises and 4 sets of each with a one minute break theres no reason you cant finish in under an hour...
these guys that come in for 2 hours and sit on the machines, bullshit for 5 mins, do a set, get a drink, bullshit some more, text on their phones, do a set ect....theres no way they are getting a solid workout

I hate when someone says already done, when I go light in the year I will do 220-280 reps in 20 minutes, more than most peoples reps that are in there for 2 hours, I dont fuck around at the gym, if im not working I want to be home, go in do my shit and get out is the mission. Most of my regular workouts can be done in 40-60 minutes and thats with 5-8 different exercises with 3 sets of 10 on each with heavy weight

I say about under 45 is about right. I always gauge my workout if my shirt is soaked. If it is I know it was good. If I leave the gym with a dry shirt I know I didnt do shit.

it varies weekly. one week chest with be 45 min with 90 sec rest moderate weight with a slow tempo. the next week it will be a 90 min workout 2 min rest with fast, tempo, heavy weight. you got to keep this shit confusing or i never get sore. never look down on the work you put in based on what "the guy behind the desk" says. you were the one putting in the work not, he and only you know if you put in the work to move towards progress.

I am normally in there for about an hour, but it depends on what I'm training that day and what exercises I do. If I'm doing back and I'm pulling deads, it takes me longer, but if I am doing shoulders, hams or chest, I can get out within 30 minutes or so

I just did back and bis today and for the first time in a very long time dead lifts. I was in there for a bit longer like 40 mins. lol.

Im usually in and out in an hour, hour half tops. That's like 5 exercises 4 sets each and 30 min cardio

I think if you are trying to grow, you need more than 30 seconds rest between sets. 30 seconds would be more in line with a cardio style workout.

Im normally about 45 minutes 55 to an hour tops, i give about 2 minutes between sets. Just getting back into the gym if i only gave 30 seconds to a minute i would faint haha. Only time im in there over that is if i tan or do some cardio.

When it comes to rest in between sets it depends on what I'm doing. Heavier lifts I give myself a bit more time maybe 1-2 mins. Small lifts - curls, abs 30secs-1min.

I noticed yesterday that no matter what set/rep size I'm doing, it depends on who's in the gym as to how fast I move. If there's a bunch of fucktards in the gym, I'll cut my rest time down, but if there's bigger guys that motivate me, I'll take my time for some reason
