Workout or sleep?

Ok I start my new cycle the end of the week, test e 500 and deca 400 a week. My question is with my job I can only workout three times a week unless I sacrifice sleep. Currently getting 8 a night. If I was to ad workout days I would be cutting it down to 6 at best on the extra workout nights. I know sleep is when you grow but being on a cycle should I sacrifice the 2 hours or so a night to get extra gym time in?

That is a really good question. I would almost have to find a way to get reps at work. I have been trying the work out before sleep thing and it is really hard to get to sleep after. I guess you could work out before your shift. If you work out at home then you have a lot more time to work with , at least the way I see it.

Three days is better than nothing. You have to be realistic and understand that life happens outside of the gym. Its all a balancing act.

That is a great idea. If I do it correctly I could probably hit the same body parts twice a week even with only 3 workout days.

Manage a retail store. I take melatonin so I slept through the night.

Since you are on gear you probably wouldn't have to. I only work out twice a week, and I only do legs! Lmao. My upper body still grows and I don't even want it to at the moment. Crazy right? That plus I am only doing low reps, minimal sets. If you save up all that energy for one big hard intense session you could really make some insane gains. The second workout day could be a super pump day where you just force feed your muscles blood and nutrients. That is pretty much HIT in a nutshell. I would also incorporate a conditioning session over extra weight time. Long walks are great for burning fat, emptying the lymph nodes. They could also help you rest after. So you could do 5 long walks a week, plus 1 insane workout session, and one extreme pump only session, no failure. Visualize your workouts on your walks. You could have super short rests on your "pump and feed" day and make it also a conditioning day.

You could run an old school HIT log.

Well I walk 5 days a week at the store. Average 7 miles a day! It's obviously all flat but it's still walking. I think this has a lot to do with being such a hard gainer. But on the other hand i have never had an issue with being overweight :)
