Benzino To Fight Aaron Carter After Failing To Lure 50 Cent Into Match
Benzino did his best to set up a fight with 50 Cent but was unsuccessful.
It looks as though Benzino will have a fight set up in the ring but not exactly with who he wanted. The Love & Hip Hop star has been attempting to get 50 Cent to box him but has been unsuccessful. Instead, he will have to settle for a match with Aaron Carter.
TMZ learned of this arrangement from Celebrity Boxing’s Damon Feldman. The contract has been signed by both men and the fight is scheduled for June 11 at the Charles Dodge Center in Pembroke Pines, FL. There is no exact word on how this fight will be structured.
It is clear that Benzino and 50 Cent have had their issues for awhile now. This includes calling each other snitches when it comes to federal issues. Benzino has called out the rapper but has not gotten the outcome that he wanted. Now, Carter is stepping in on behalf of one of his favorite rappers.
Aaron Carter shared a video on Instagram once this fight was announced.
“Why would you make fun and pick at one of my favorite rappers, 50 Cent. Why would you do that, huh?
“I will meet you in the ring and we can dance and we can have fun. it will be so much fun, right? this is a legend so don’t call yourself a legend. Nobody believes it, you little cry baby.”
This will be the first celebrity boxing match involving Benzino while Carter has competed before. In his first and only match to this point, Carter was knocked out by Lamar Odom in the first round. Carter has remained active on social media and believes he will have an edge in this match.
“A message to BENZINO let’s dance! I fought a giant and ended up with three concussions and was still standing! I’m curious to see how this plays out…. I had the BIGGEST celebrity boxing match EVER w @celebrityboxing1 and Damon So you’re lucky I’m even giving you this platform. MY LAST POST WAS REMOVED but you CANT remove me!! I’m back and this time it’s gonna hurt. @celebrityboxing1 I’ll be waiting for my contract. Have a blessed day ?,” aaron carter wrote on instagram.
Aaron Carter believes that his match with Odom will put him in an advantageous position. Benzino will have a chance to get a fight under his belt just in case 50 Cent ever wants to step in the ring. To this point, it seems unlikely.

50 Cent Body-Shamed After Super Bowl LVI Halftime Performance
50 Cent was a surprise guest during the Super Bowl halftime show and critics pointed out more than his performance.
The Super Bowl LVI halftime show was one of the best in recent memory. It was headlined by Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. With a lineup like this, it is only right that there was a surprise addition and it was 50 Cent. After the legendary rapper was seen sporting a classic look of his, there were some comments on social media about his overall build.
Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg opened the show before pointing down below where 50 Cent was seen hanging from the ceiling to perform his hit “In Da Club.” This was a surprise appearance but one that was well received by the crowd and fans of the rapper. In today’s age where social media is king, there are also plenty of trolls who want to point out some issues that they create.
Eminem taking a knee became controversial and the weight of 50 Cent was also brought into question. The current look of the 46-year-old star was pointed out while he was wearing his famous white tank top and headband. 50 Cent too to Instagram to acknowledge the memes that were being created on his behalf.
“?who the fvck did this? ?catch FORCE episode 2 @bransoncognac@lecheminduroi“
The fact remains that 50 Cent did not look bad during his Super Bowl performance. At the high point of his career, he was known for his incredible music along with a shredded physique. 50 Cent often performed without a shirt and was not shy about showing off his chiseled body. As he has gotten older, he has filled out but should not be considered “fat” by any means.
This incident comes two months after 50 Cent began a feud with Madonna after a comment on an Instagram picture of hers. Madonna responded with a video of her own calling out 50 Cent for his comments, which have since been deleted. He apologized for his comments but the pop star did not believe it was genuine.
“You were trying to shame me. Your apology is fake, it’s bullshit, and it’s not valid…An apology is not valid if you don’t know what you’re apologizing for. What you should be apologizing for is your misogynistic, sexist, ageist behavior and remarks,” Madonna said.
Many fans came to the defense of 50 Cent on social media after some comments were made about his appearance.
The Super Bowl performance was a blast to the past for many fans of the top artists from that generation of hip hop and rap music. Some took it as a chance to take shots at 50 Cent. Regardless, the performance itself will be remembered for quite some time as one of the best in Super Bowl history.

50 Cent Joins Triller Coverage Calling Holyfield Vs. Belfort
50 Cent joins a long list of star names set to comment on the Holyfield Vs. Belfort fight.
The Holyfield vs Belfort match was already set to be a massive moment in boxing history in and of itself. But now the amount of star power entering the broadcast commentary. Triller had already announced Donald Trump will be providing his own commentary for the event. It now seems that 50 Cent will also be providing color commentary calling Holyfield vs Belfort.
As reported by TMZ, 50 Cent will be joining coverage for the big event. But before you get excited about the idea of 50 Cent and Donald Trump side by side – the hip hop star will be on a different broadcast than the former President of the United States. According to TMZ’s sources, 50 Cent will be filling in for Snoop Dogg’s usual color commentary role.
While some fans may miss the often funny commentary from Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent is also a huge boxing fan known for his strong comments and antics. So we can expect the broadcast to also be entertaining and memorable for this big face off.
Even though Donald Trump won’t be sitting next to 50 Cent for commentary – the former POTUS won’t be alone on his broadcast. He will be side by side with UFC star Jorge Masvidal and Donald Trump Jr. It should be noted that Masvidal had previously been on the campaign train supporting Trump in Florida during the lead up to the election.
Alongside Donald Trump, Don Jr., and Masvidal – longtime play-by-play commentator Todd Grisham will also be providing analysis for the match.Ultimately, it seems that fans will not have a lack of options for the Holyfield vs Belfort boxing match. Whether or not you listen to 50 Cent’s possibly fun broadcast or choose to see what Donald Trump has in store will be a tough call. One thing is certainly sure – neither of these two commentators will be short for words during the proceedings.
Originally, Vitor Belfort was set to face off against Oscar De La Hoya. But due to La Hoya receiving a sudden COVID-19 diagnosis, Holyfield, who was already preparing for an upcoming bout, stepped in last minute to fight the MMA star.
When it was originally De La Hoya vs Belfort, it was already a controversial fight. La Hoya, one of the most popular boxers of the last three decades, is 48 years old. Belfort, the once-dangerous UFC light heavyweight champion, is now 44. But now that the fight has shifted to Evander Holyfield – the match has become even more shocking. Holyfield, one of the best 10 heavyweight champions in the history of boxing, is 58 years old – and hasn’t had a real fight in over 10 years.
Needless to say, the fight will be an interesting one and something that will be remembered for the history books. It will all unfold later tonight – we can’t wait to see what the ultimate outcome is.
