Arnold Schwarzenegger Reveals BMW IX Commercial Playing Zeus
Arnold Schwarzenegger will be featured in a Super Bowl commercial as Zeus.
It has been two weeks since Arnold Schwarzenegger teased a project of himself playing Zeus. Now, he has revealed that fans will be able to see his performance during the Super Bowl.
Schwarzenegger will join Salma Hayek in a promotion for the new BMW electric model. This is an ad that opens at Mt. Olympus where the pair are planning to retire and head to Palm Beach, CA. Schwarzenegger shared a post on his Instagram to give fans a sneak peek.
“I had such a blast filming with @salmahayek for @BMWUSA! Now…GET TO THE CHARGER!! @BMW #BMWElectric #ad“
The Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams will battle on the field in the final game of the NFL season. Off the field, fans can also enjoy the Halftime Show and commercials that have become such a big part of the night. Companies know the attraction that football brings. Of the top-10 most watched television programs in the history of the United States, eight spots are taken up by Super Bowls.
On average, companies will spect upwards of $7 million for a 30-second ad during the big game. In 2020, there was a total of nearly $450 million spent to provide entertaining commercials. BMW will not get into the mix and feature two big names as part of their campaign.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has always had a passion for acting. Following a legendary bodybuilding career that dubbed him the greatest of all-time, he appeared on the big screen in many memorable roles. This includes The Terminator series and The Expendables.
Salma Hayek is another big figure in Hollywood who has been part of some huge projects in her career. Hayek has been nominated for an Emmy award four times for her work as a director and producer for television shows. This collaboration is not one that many have seen coming but it is bound to be an entertaining and successful ad.
There have been many famous Super Bowl ads that have remained relevant over the years. Arnold Schwarzenegger and BMW might have the next great one on deck. Fans will have to wait until Sunday to see the big reveal but the legendary bodybuilder was not shy about giving a sneak peek.

Joseph Baena Channels His Father Arnold Schwarzenegger With Famous Pose
Joseph Baena shared a recent physique update showing off a famous pose of his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Joseph Baena seems to be dabbling in the crafts of his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, in more ways than one. The 24-year-old recently shared a physique update where he is striking a pose that his father made famous during his bodybuilding days.
There is no doubt that Baena resembles Schwarzenegger in many ways, whether it be his career paths or overall physical appearance. He took to Instagram to show off his sculpted physique while nailing a bodybuilding pose. In his caption, Baena hinted that he was channeling his inner Schwarzenegger.
“May be a little lighter but I still got the poses down.”
This is not the first time that Joseph Baena has hinted at bodybuilding. He has confirmed that he would like to compete in bodybuilding when the time is right. He certainly has the bloodline with the best bodybuilder of all-time as his father. Until then, Baena continues to make a name for himself on the big screen.
After an insane career in bodybuilding, Arnold Schwarzenegger became known for his work as an actor, especially in The Terminator series. Baena continues to follow in his father’s footsteps with some of his recent projects.
In November, Baena announced a new project titled Lava. He showed off his sculpted build in another social media post discussing to project, which will be funded by cryptocurrency. Despite working on movies and aspiring to be a bodybuilder, Baena has created his own path.
Baena is not the only son of Schwarzenegger that has shown a passion for fitness. Patrick Schwarzenegger has taken on the lifestyle and has transformed his physique in recent months. At the beginning of January, Patrick shared a physique update of his own after taking on a fitness challenge.
At 24 years old, Joseph Baena has already made a name for himself. His work will only continue to grow, whether it be on the big screen or in bodybuilding. Baena has showed that he is capable of both and that he can find success anywhere. While he is still working on his latest project, the world will wait until he decides to take the bodybuilding stage.

10 Great Benefits of Lifting Weights
10 Benefits of Working Out
Lifting weights isn’t a fad which is going away anytime soon. Working out has longstanding benefits which make it a worthwhile sport for anyone to follow. People might come to the gym because of their resolutions but stay because of the positive changes they see.
It might take some time to reap the rewards of working out but once you do, there is nothing more satisfying than that. If you’re a critic of lifting weights, this article might help in changing your opinions.
Gain Muscles Mass
It’s no secret lifting weights can help you in building muscles. Most people get a gym membership to gain muscle mass. If you want to buff up, hitting the gym is arguably your best option.
Get Stronger
Lifting weights with consistency will invariably lead to strength gains. Setting new PRs every few weeks is a sign you’re not plateauing and are getting stronger. The strength from the gym will carry over to your daily life and the things which once felt heavy will no longer feel that way.
Look Good Naked
Bodybuilding can change your body structure. A slouching back or slanting shoulders aren’t the sexiest of body features. Working out can help you develop your arms, shoulders, back, chest, abs, and legs for when it matters the most – the bedroom.
Increases Stamina
Lifting weights and doing cardio workouts can help in improving your cardiovascular strength. Apart from your stamina, working out can also improve your core strength, flexibility, agility, and conditioning.
Stress Buster
Working out can be a great stress buster. A good training session can be the best reliever after a hectic day. Some people like to use the gym as an outlet for the frustration and anger built throughout the day.
Makes You Disciplined
If you want to see changes in your physique, you need to be disciplined. A fit lifestyle demands discipline with your workouts, diet, and recovery. Over time, you’ll find yourself starting to get accountable in other areas in your life.
Enhances Mood
While you train your body releases endorphins which are the hormones responsible for making you feel happy. You’ll hardly ever come out of a training session feeling depressed, especially if the workout was good.
Get Better at Visualising
Bodybuilding isn’t just about lifting a couple of heavy dumbbells. Arnold emphasized the importance of visualization in bodybuilding. He considered himself to be the crafter of his physique and with every rep, he was shaping his body into a masterpiece.
Makes You Psychologically Tuffer
You’ll be challenged both physiologically and psychologically while lifting weights. Resistance training will regularly put you in spots where you’ll have to break your mental barrier if you want to progress.
Teaches You the Importance of Diet
Diet plays one of the most integral parts in bodybuilding. People who lift weights and are in good shape will rarely be suffering from otherwise common problems like obesity, high blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. Once you start lifting weights, you’ll realize the kind of impact the food we eat can have on your bodies.

This would not be the first time that an actor has played a role in a Super Bowl ad to gain attention. In 2018, Danny McBride and Chris Hemsworth teamed up to create a “Crocodile Dundee” campaign that ended up increasing tourism in Australia. Schwarzenegger could make the same impact.
Of course, this is not the first time that Arnold Schwarzenegger would take on acting. After putting together a career that has dubbed him the greatest bodybuilder of all-time, Schwarzenegger was extremely successful on the big screen. He was known for his role in The Terminator series and has appeared in other films such as The Expendables and Kindergarten Cop.
The Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, Feb. 13 in Los Angeles. This will be less than a month since Schwarzenegger was involved in a multi-car accident. It was reported that there were four vehicles involved in the crash. Schwarzenegger was not injured and was concerned for others involved. He quickly issued a statement following the incident where he provided an update.
Arnold Schwarzenegger gained plenty of notice from other big names with this post. His son, Joseph Baena, commented jokingly asking for help during his workout.
“Oh god of the sky, please bless my pump today.”
When Arnold Schwarzenegger makes different appearances, it is bound to gain attention and be entertaining. The poster that he shared on social media is one that could become huge. Even if it is just a Super Bowl ad, it will reach many around the world and accomplish the goals that it has in mind.

10 Daily Habits of Successful Bodybuilders
The Most Common Habits of Successful Bodybuilders
Of all the people working out to get a better physique, only a few can be deemed successful. Most people blame their genetics for not seeing results in the gym while the real problem lies elsewhere.
Being successful at bodybuilding takes a lot of self-discipline. If you follow fitness athletes on social media, you would have seen a common pattern in their days. There are certain things accomplished bodybuilders do every day which makes them the best at what they do.
1. Wake Up Early
We’re sure you would have never seen a professional bodybuilder wake up late and social media is a proof for this. Successful people wake up early and get to work. Most of the successful bodybuilder workout early in the morning.
2. Follow a Schedule
Top bodybuilders follow a schedule. They don’t go to the gym when it is convenient for them. They have a fixed schedule which they follow. Your muscles respond better to your workouts when you hit the gym at the same time every day.
3. Eat Frequently
Following a healthy diet is a must. It doesn’t end there, you have to eat frequently and on time. Feeding your muscles at regular intervals helps in the recovery process. If you’re looking to build muscles, you should be eating anywhere between 6-8 meals a day.
4. Set Goals
You should have short-term and long-term goals. You can’t expect to see results in the gym if you go there without a goal. All the successful bodybuilders have a goal in their minds when they step into the gym and they will do anything to achieve it.
5. Plan in Advance
As Benjamin Franklin famously said, “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.” You need to have a workout, diet, and a day plan ready in advance. When you have your workout plans ready in advance, you can focus on the workouts instead of thinking of exercises to do next.
6. Visualise
Visualisation is made famous by Arnold Schwarzenegger. He used visualisation techniques to imagine his dream physique and then worked in the gym to achieve it. Visualisation combined with the mind-muscle connection can take your gains to a whole new level.
7. Work on Something Bigger
While you might enjoy your time in the gym, don’t get absorbed by it. Take out the time to work on something bigger. Most of the famous bodybuilders spend short but effective time in the gym and work outside the gym to build their empires.
8. Share
In today’s era, you will hardly find a successful bodybuilder who lives in isolation. If you’ve achieved a goal, share it with the world and motivate them. On the other hand, if you’re working towards a goal sharing it with your friends and family can motivate you to work harder for it.
9. Have Fun
Not seeing results can lead to frustration and anxiety. It is important you have fun in and out of the gym. Don’t let go of a chance to have fun. Follow a hobby or spend some time with your friends and family.
10. Sleep Well
No matter how hard you work in the gym, deep sleep is where all the magic happens. Your muscles need at least six hours of sleep every night to rest and repair after your workouts. It is time you stop wearing sleep deprivation as a badge of honor.
Which of these habits do you need to form? Let us know in the comments below. Also, be sure to follow Generation Iron on Facebook and Twitter.

Everything You Need to Know About Competition Preparation
All You Need to Know About Bodybuilding Competition Preparation
Many people who start bodybuilding on the advanced level at one point or the other think about competing on stage. While most of those people never gather the courage to step on stage, the ones who do suffer because of a lack of knowledge about preparation.
To win a bodybuilding competition, you need to do more than workout every day for a few weeks. The right contest prep is what separates the all-time bests from rookies who stick around for a couple of shows. If you’re ambitious enough to join the elites, we’re here to help you.
You Need a Coach
It doesn’t matter how good you think you are, the sooner you accept you need a coach, the better it’ll be for you. A coach can help you with your diet, training, posing, and juice. An experienced coach can even tell you what’s going to work for you in a particular show and then polish it.
Plan Your Training
Most people try to stay in shape throughout the year which can be harmful to their overall health. The better way is to shortlist the shows you’ll be contesting a year in advance and then start preparing for them not more than 20 weeks from the show date.
Design a Nutrition Plan
You can’t win a show just by going hard in the gym. Nutrition is a key aspect of achieving peak conditioning. Get an expert to design the nutrition and diet timeline as per your show and then stick with it.
Get Posing Classes
In the documentary Pumping Iron, Arnold Schwarzenegger talks about the importance of posing and even goes to ballerina classes to perfect his routine. Consulting a choreographer about your posing routine and a bodybuilding coach about the mandatory bodybuilding poses is a good idea.
Find the Right Tan
Most people overlook the importance of finding the right tan and settle for the cheapest option they can buy online. The right tan can make a big difference in your placing in the show, so do the effort of finding the right tan as per your skin type. Getting a professional to apply the tan can also improve how the tan looks.
Look For a Posing Suit
Posing suits are one of the most important (and the only thing you’ll wear) which many people overlook. It would be great if you could find out the backdrop of the stage and choose a suit which will make you pop out and compliment your skin and tan tone.
Know the Stage
Reaching the show early and checking out the auditorium can do wonders for your performance (yes, posing is a performance). Know where the focus lights are and try to be under the ‘good light’ always. A good stage presence will show up on the mark sheet.
Prepare For Your Division
As a classic physique contestant, its okay to idolize a free-weight bodybuilder but copying his moves and poses won’t go down well for you. Know your division well and the things which work like posing, costumes, stage presence, etc.
It’s All About You
Bodybuilding is a selfish game, and you need to turn mean and focus all your energy on your own self. Arnold got in the headlines when it came to surface he missed his father’s funeral as he refused to go back to Austria because Mr. Olympia competition was in a couple of months.
Learn From Your Mistakes
You probably aren’t going to hit the jackpot in your first attempt. It might take a few tries before you learn from your mistakes and realize what works for you and what doesn’t. Bodybuilding is a never-ending game of self-improvement and one which will challenge every fiber of your being.

Arnold Schwarzenegger And Maria Shriver Officially Divorced After 10 Years
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver will split their $400 million estate.
It has been 10 years since Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver separated. On Tuesday, their divorce became official in Los Angeles Court. The divorce had been mediated by a private judge, who signed off on the divorce at the beginning of December. To be finalized, it had to enter the court system by a sitting judge. This is what happened Tuesday morning.
There have been a few reasons as to why the divorce took so long but a complicated property agreement was at the top of the list. This exact settlement is private but it is estimated to be upwards of $400 million. Schwarzenegger and Shriver did not have any prenuptial agreements but the estate will likely be split right down the middle.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver remained cordial over the last decade. Despite being in different relationships over time, the two have attended gatherings with their four children. Joseph Baena is Schwarzenegger’s son who he fathered with the family’s housekeeper. This is the reason the two became separated.
Baena is now 24 years old and has made headlines for looking just like his father. Banea is in incredible shape and even has ambitions of becoming an actor. If he wants to continue down a fitness path, Baena has a leg up being the son of the greatest bodybuilder of all-time.
Shriver filed for divorce on July 1, 2011 with the intention of keeping the news as quiet as possible. Schwarzenegger claimed that he did not know Baena, who was born in 1996, was his biological son at first. Mildred Baena, the family housekeeper, and her husband also separated shortly after Baena was born.
Maria Shriver is a journalist and member of the Kennedy family. She is the former First Lady of California from when Schwarzenegger was Governor. Shriver and Schwarzenegger were both in politics during their marriage.
Arnold Schwarzenegger made a name for himself in America upon coming from Austria. His incredible size and passion for bodybuilding led to seven Olympia titles. Following his career in bodybuilding, Schwarzenegger became an actor and politician. He remains an influential voice in bodybuilding while hosting his annual Arnold Sports Festival. This began in 1989 when it was named after him.
Both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver will split the estate and go on with the relationship they currently have. After 10 years apart, the two have made it work and made it clear that their children are most important.

Arnold Schwarzenegger donates 25 tiny homes to homeless veterans in California
Arnold Schwarzenegger made a $250,000 donation toward the cause.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is the former Governor of California and he is continuing to make contributions to the state. On Thursday, the greatest bodybuilder of all-time donated 25 tiny homes to shelter homeless veterans in West Los Angeles.
Schwarzenegger joined forces with Village for Vets to make this happen. This is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing food and shelter to homeless and at-risk veterans. Veterans Affair Secretary Denis McDonough and volunteer organization American Veterans also helped in building the homes.
Schwarzenegger took to Twitter on Dec. 23 to make the announcement.
“Today, I celebrated Christmas early. The 25 homes I donated for homeless veterans were installed here in LA. It was fantastic to spend some time with our heroes and welcome them into their new homes.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger made a great career for himself in America after coming over from Austria. He won seven Olympia titles and was the most influential bodybuilder during his time. He is still widely considered as the best of all-time. Schwarzenegger then made appearances on the big screen and was a successful politician.
Due to his success, Schwarzenegger feels the need to give back as much as possible. He went on FOX 11 Los Angeles during “The Issue Is” to discuss this latest project with Elex Michaelson.
“I’ve made and have this great success because of America. If it isn’t bodybuilding, if it isn’t business, if it isn’t show business, movies and politics — whatever I tackled I achieved because of America, so to me, it’s always great to give something back.”
Many veterans have spoken out about this since receiving homes. This includes veteran Bruce Henry Cooper who said that this has “been a life-saver.”
Village for Vets builds tiny shelters that provide an elevated standard of living from tent encampments while veterans are on their journey to find permanent housing and stability. This is not a permanent solution but it is a way to shelter veterans who do not have proper housing.
Arnold Schwarzenegger continues to be an influential voice and figure in California. The work that he has done has made a difference and this can be added to the list.
