Eddie Hall “Eats Humble Pie”, Congratulates Thor Bjornsson, Addresses Bets
Eddie Hall is eating humble pie.
Eddie Hall recently congratulated Thor Bjornsson on the victory in their boxing match. Hall also finally addressed the issue surrounding a number of bets he made ahead of his match with Thor.
It appears that Eddie Hall is owning up to a few things. Bets were made ahead of his bout with rival Thor Bjornsson, a tattoo bet and a monetary one with Larry Wheels. Many people have been addressing these bets on socials and it appears that Hall has finally decided to speak on the subject.
The bout between Eddie Hall and Thor Bjornsson certainly lived up to the hype. In fact it perhaps exceeded expectations. Hall was able to land some hellacious blows in the early parts of the fight. Thor was able to take over however through use of his superior technical ability. He was even able to drop Hall a number of times securing his victory.
Now that everything is said and done Eddie Hall and Thor Bjornsson appear to have buried the hatchet. The vitriol and hatred they once had for each other appears to have subsided. There’s nothing like some good ol’ fisticuffs to settle a feud. Since then it appears that Hall and Thor are singing different tunes.
Humble Pie
Eddie Hall was actually quite congratulatory of Thor Bjornsson in a recent video. In a short clip posted to Instagram Hall addressed the fact that it was time to eat humble pie and address some lingering issues.
Time to eat some humble pie!!!Featuring money to charity and tattoo wager ??
Eddie Hall had even more to say in the full video. Hall addressed the bets he made with Larry Wheels as well as Thor Bjornsson and explained that it will be some time before payment for the bout is settled. He did seem keen on the idea of owning up to the bets and paying his dues. You can see the full video here.
It’s great to see Hall taking ownership of his past promises and setting his intentions to make good on them. A man who can stick by his word is one everyone can respect.

Hafthor Bjornsson vs. Eddie Hall History
This is a fight that has turned personal. Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall almost came to blows during their first face-off. Bjornsson claims that he was unaware of the meeting and that it was a setup by Hall. During the face-off, both men proceeded to spit on each other before having to be restrained. There were also some personal jabs made during the press conference. This is just adding even more fuel to the fire.
Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall are both former winners of the World’s Strongest Man competition. Hall became the first man to deadlift 500kg before Bjornsson was able to beat his record by a single kilogram. Once they made the transition to boxing, it was clear that this would be an intense meeting. Hall was forced to pull out of their scheduled bout in September due to a torn tricep.
Once hall returned to training and a new date was set, he wanted to take it up a notch. There was an original offer of $100,000 to the charity of the winner’s choice. This has been bumped up to $200,000. Hall wanted to step it up even further but Bjornsson had something different in mind. The loser will now have to get a tattoo of the winner’s name somewhere on their body.

After Eddie Hall Mentions His Mom, Thor Bjornsson Attacks Him at Press Conference
Eddie Hall and Thor Bjornsson are ready to go to war.
Eddie Hall and Thor Bjornsson nearly came to blows at the press conference ahead of their bout this Saturday. Hall crossed the line after he mentioned Thor’s mother.
These two really don’t like each other. While it’s no secret that Thor and Eddie Hall have always been rivals, their beef has reached a whole new level. They’ve had several run ins before the fight, each time the meets almost resulting in a full blown brawl.
Hall has been brash and in Thor’s face at every turn. It’s surprising that the two haven’t come to blows, especially after the first face to face this week. Hall even spit at Thor who returned fire as well. Luckily there were enough people between them to prevent the two behemoths from clashing.
Their second run in with each other happened during a sit down meet that saw the two once again trading scornful trash talk. Luckily they were both able to control themselves before things turned physical.
The recent press conference however was a whole different story.
At the press conference Eddie Hall made the bold move to tell Thor Bjornsson to “quiet your mum.” It was perhaps the worst thing that Hall could have said.
Obviously Thor Bjornsson wasn’t happy and Eddie Hall may have just opened a can of worms he won’t be able to close. You can see the entire press conference below.

Hafthor Bjornsson, Eddie Hall Trade Trash Talk in Sit Down Ahead of Fight
Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall face off once again ahead of their boxing match.
Long time rivals Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall had a much more civil face off than their initial meeting just a few days back. With their bout scheduled for this Saturday, Bjornsson and Hall look to hype the fight up and give fans a taste of what’s to come.
Both Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall will be quick to tell you that there’s no love lost between each other. The two have had a problem ever since their competitive strongman days.
With neither man competing in strongman at the moment, the two bitter rivals have decided to solve their differences in another way.
The two rivals have competed fiercely with each other for many years, each getting the better of the other in tests of strength. But a strongman competition is nothing like a boxing match. A contest of strength is one thing. A contest between fists and the will of two fighters is something else entirely.
The Rivals Face Off
If their confrontation the other day was any hint, Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall have true anger for each other. The two decided to sit down and had a more “civil” conversation ahead of their bout…
Well, civil is certainly up to debate.
“That’s what it’s all about,” said Eddie Hall. “He smeared my win and never apologized. I am here to correct it.”
“You Fu**ing Fake Lying B*tch,” said Hafthor Bjornsson.
These are just a few highlights of the conversation between the rivals. Obviously it wasn’t that pretty. For the full sit down interview see the video below.

At the end of the video Hafthor Bjornsson closed on a determined note.
“I am the better boxer,” said Bjornsson. “I have everything. If I want to knock him out, I will knock him out. If I want to go the distance, I’ll go the distance. He has no chance.”
Eddie Hall vowed to deliver a knockout.
“I can just look you dead in the eyes, and I can say I’m going to knock you out. End of story.”

Hafthor Bjornsson Speaks On Heated Exchange With Eddie Hall During Face-Off
Hafthor Bjornsson took time to answer some questions he has been receiving since the incident.
The boxing match between Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall is scheduled for Saturday. It will take place at the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis stadium in the United Arab Emirates. Like any fight, there was a face-off between fighters and it got heated. Bjornsson recently took to social media to discuss the interaction.
The two strongmen turned boxers had to be separated after words were exchanged and there was even some spitting. Security had to intervene on the face-off and many questions were raised. Bjornsson took to his YouTube page to explain his side of the event.
Bjornsson claims that he was preparing to train when he received word for the first time that Hall would be making an appearance.
“I had no idea that this was happening. It was an obvious setup that Eddie was in on.
Things got pretty heated, insults were thrown and it ended with Eddie being dragged out of the building, severely injuring someone involved, whilst trying to spit on me. I did spit back, not my finest moment but the adrenaline was cranked and I was shocked that he would do something so disgusting.”
Hafthor Bjornsson claims this was not a planned face-off but a setup by Eddie Hall. Regardless, the two met and it was exactly the outcome that was expected. This is a match between two former strongmen who began their rivalry early on. Bjornsson broke Hall’s deadlift record after Hall became the first man to move 500kg. Bjornsson set the new mark by a single kilogram.
Bjornsson continued to explain that he wanted to keep the situation calm and not risk having the fight called off.
“Regardless I managed to keep quite calm, all things considered, as I didn’t want to throw two years of hard work out the window.”
There is no doubt that there will be plenty of fireworks on Saturday night. This is a fight that is a long time coming, especially when it was originally scheduled for September. Both Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall have been waiting to step in the ring and fans have been waiting to see the outcome. We are just four days away from watching it all play out.

Thor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall Have Heated Face Off Ahead of Their Fight
Thor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall have heated exchange ahead of their boxing match.
Hafthor “Thor” Bjornsson and Eddie Hall traded heated words ahead of their March 19th fight. The two came face to face and had to be separated as things spiraled out of control.
For awhile it seemed like that the Thor Bjornsson versus Eddie Hall match would never come to fruition. Sure the two hyped up the fight, made a good show of things and got the attention built to a fever pitch. But when it was time for the two to actually lock horns, Hall would end up getting injured and Bjornsson would go on to fight a heavily inexperienced David Larrat.
Fast forward to the rescheduled match and it seemed that things appeared to be playing out much in the same way. Rumors were abound that Eddie Hall was injured and the fight was in jeopardy. But it appears that those rumors were false.
Saw Eddie today. He’s injury free so there’s no excuses to not show up March 19th. The fight is on! ?
Eddie Hall is uninjured and ready to fight. Recently the 2017 World’s Strongest Man came face to face with his bitter rival Thor Bjornsson.
And the face off didn’t disappoint.
Heated Confrontation
Thor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall engaged in some pretty heated trash talk and the two seem ready to take each other’s head off.

It’s clear that these two do not like each other which is added to the drama of the fight. Thor Bjornsson has taken his pro seriously and is clearly the more polished and experienced boxer. That said you can’t underestimate the power Eddie Hall possesses. If the face off is any indication we could be in for quite the battle between these two rivals.

Hafthor Bjornsson Looks Impressive in Training Leading Up to Eddie Hall Fight
Hafthor Bjornsson is looking sharp in the lead up to his bout with Eddie Hall.
Hafthor Bjornsson is looking more than ready to take on the challenge of Eddie Hall as he looks incredibly sharp in training. With their boxing match not too far away Bjornsson is looking rather impressive ahead of the clash.
The sweet science is more than just about swinging fists. When it comes to boxing being good at punching simply isn’t enough to secure victory. It takes grit, determination, and of course solid defense and footwork. Having experience in the ring is also a top requirement to excel in actual competition. Hafthor Bjornsson has come to learn this very fact well. As the day fast approaches for his showdown with Eddie Hall, it’s clear that Bjornsson has the upper hand.
Unlike Eddie Hall who hasn’t seen real action inside a boxing ring, Hafthor Bjornsson has already had a number of bouts to his name. While they may have been exhibition matches, Bjornsson had some quality opposition that have gotten his feat wet in the pugilistic arts.
These exhibition events will no doubt help the 2018 World’s Strongest Man in a number of ways. Firstly Hafthor Bjornsson will have an edge in terms of dealing with an adrenaline dump. It’s a factor that few truly understand. Those initiated in combat sports understand that nerves, fear, anxiety, and excitement can all come into play when stepping into the ring. These elements can have an effect on less experienced competitors who are unfamiliar with dealing with an adrenaline dump. The exhibition matches Bjornsson went through are sure to have helped him deal with said elements.
In general Hafthor Bjornsson appears to have received better training than his rival Eddie Hall.
156kg / 343lbs and Counting!!!
Purposely kept heavy throughout my camp for Power and I fully intend on delivering it ⛰ ??
And don’t worry I can work for 10 rounds!
I’m calling this journey….
‘The Desolation of Thor’ ?
Almost time for that big crybaby to pay!
Despite his tough talk and willingness to trade blows, it’s clear from. The video that Eddie Hall isn’t the most technical boxer.
On the other hand Hafthor Bjornsson is looking much sharper and more technical than Hall by far.
26 days out.
