Jay Cutler, Milos Sarcev Talk Hassan Mostafa & Blessing Awodibu’s Potential + Lack of Athletes Entering Shows
Jay Cutler continues to oversee the Men’s Open division, which served as his proving grounds following an illustrious career. In a recent Cutler Cast Podcast, Cutler examined the physiques of top talents Hassan Mostafa and Blessing Awodibu. Then, he joined Milos Sarcev for an honest discussion about athletes who live like bodybuilders but refuse to enter contests.
Making a name in the Open class has arguably never been more difficult. To reach the sport’s most-coveted throne, athletes must present a perfect combination of mass, conditioning, and balance on stage. There are still a number of athletes who have yet to earn their invites to 2023 Mr. Olympia – the biggest show of the year. Two of which are Blessing Awodibu and Hassan Mostafa.
Last year, Awodibu turned in a career-best season. This campaign saw him lay claim to gold at the 2022 Indy Pro and New York Pro. With two Pro show victories fueling his ambitions, Awodibu entered his first Olympia competition but didn’t place. As a result of the performance, Awodibu put his head down and trained in the 2023 off-season. As one of the more entertaining Open talents, fans are thrilled to see him back in action.
Hassan Mostafa, meanwhile, has kept a busy schedule this season. In June, Mostafa kicked off his year by finishing second to Iain Valliere at the 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow. A week later, he pushed himself against 49-year-old Phil Clahar at the Orlando Pro though ultimately finished runner-up. Three times a charm, as was the case for Mostafa, who achieved his first win of the season at the recent Vancouver Pro.
Jay Cutler, Milos Sarcev Take Closer Looks At Physiques of Hassan Mostafa and ‘Huge’ Blessing Awodibu
According to Sarcev, there was no way Stan ‘Stanimal’ de Longeaux had a shot at defeating Hassan in Vancouver, Canada.
“No way [Stanimal can’t beat Hassan]. He would not beat you right? No matter how conditioned… you have so much size and power in the Open division. So, for me, there was no contest for first place. I mean, Hassan – on the pictures – it was very good condition. Not Stan’s condition, but this kind of conditioning that’s why I’m saying, just condition can not be a perfect physique,” said Milos Sarcev.
“Years ago we talked about the most muscular bodybuilder on the planet, and we thought it was Hassan. We used to see him at Dragon’s Lair and he could barely walk he was so big. He’s come down a lot since then,” said Cutler. “Samson might be the most muscular bodybuilder right now. Samson is pretty – and Nick Walker is really big too.”
Looking at last year’s Olympia finishers, Sarcev said Mostafa wouldn’t have been able to defeat Rafael Brandao due to the Brazilian’s shape, width, and aesthetics.
“Close second twice, and if he would lose this one – there would be so much disagreement,” said Sarcev. “Hassan? Ten being Rafael Brandao… I would give it Rafael, myself. So, I don’t think he would make the top ten. Look, crazy size, but Rafael Brandao beat Samson a year before in Romania. Rafael has shape and width and aesthetics and everything. So, I’m not going to go for just pure muscle,” explained Sarcev.
Sarcev and Cutler agree Awodibu looks motivated ahead of this weekend, where he’s set to face off against rising talent Justin Shier.
“Justin is phenomenal. Yes for sure [Justin can win]. He has everything that it takes. I still haven’t seen him in person. The pictures that I’ve seen and the videos, he’s super impressive. The v-taper is – I think there was an argument that he could have bigger legs and a little bit fuller chest.”
“Blessing looked super motivated. He looked huge. He’s super wide. My advice is I told him right there in front of you: he has one of the craziest v-tapers and a super small waist when he opens up, right? He should not risk whatsoever to push down as his obliques come out and then his waist doesn’t look as good. This is about that presentation.
It’s not what you have it’s what you show. If you never show them a wider waist, they only see a smaller waist, and that’s how they’re going to judge. Then, you’re a super contender. Upper body, I mean, Blessing is a phenomenon, a phenomenon.
If Awodibu brings a comparable physique to what he displayed at last year’s New York Pro, Jay Cutler said the Chicago Pro is his show to win.
“If he comes like the New York Pro, I think he can win,” suggested Cutler.
“Yeah [he can win] by all means. In Las Vegas, maybe he would be the odds-on favorite still, but Justin is just — too complete and balanced. From an aspect of balance, that’s what the downfall was of Blessing’s. He had a crazy upper body and legs lacking a little bit. Patrick Moore the same thing.”
Sarcev, Cutler Talk Passing on Shows and Weak Prize Money
Given the costs associated with bodybuilding, Sarcev is surprised at how few athletes decide to compete regularly at contests. Cutler was quick to point out that the prize money in bodybuilding has remained lackluster for decades now.
“It makes zero sense [to not compete]. All these guys – so, gear costs. Gear costs. They’re going to do the gear whether they compete or not, they’re going to take pictures for Instagram or not. When they’re in the gym they do what they do, they eat what they’re supposed to. Okay, now, when you do all that stuff. Wouldn’t you want to be in shape – contest shape – and when you’re in contest shape and you have a Pro card you can be on the biggest stage in the IFBB? And you’re passing on all these shows, what the hell?” said Milos Sarcev.
Cutler and Sarcev believe the inactivity problem boils down to the lack of financial opportunities available from sponsors.
“They can compete but they choose not to compete, why would you not compete? You have a Pro card,” said Sarcev. “[It’s] too many shows, like you mentioned it, and it’s the same prize money. Why don’t you force promoters, promoters aren’t going to like me, they should easily double-up the prize money.”
“They can’t because the sponsors are scarce,” said Jay Cutler.
“Then don’t make the show. Have fewer shows and start valuing this bodybuilders,” said Sarcev.
This isn’t the first time that prize money in bodybuilding has taken over headlines. In June, athletes rep Bob Cicherillo took to a Voice of Bodybuilding Podcast to discuss the pressing issue. Similar to Cutler and Sarcev’s point of view, Cicherillo highlighted that prize money hasn’t changed for decades. Moving forward, Cicherillo would like to see the minimum purse raised from $10,000 to $20,000 for typical bodybuilding contests outside of the Arnold Classic and Mr. Olympia.
With the sport’s greatest event taking place in three months, athletes still have time to earn their tickets. Should Awodibu claim gold this weekend, he’ll have the chance to face the reigning Mr. Olympia Hadi Choopan later this year. As for Hassan Mostafa, he hopes to make it on the Olympia stage after health issues sidelined him from an appearance in 2022.

2023 Orlando Pro Results and Scorecards
The 2023 Orlando Pro delivered an exciting show and took place on July 1. Men’s Open bodybuilders gathered in Orlando, Florida for a chance to guarantee passage to the upcoming Mr. Olympia competition.
For this year’s most prestigious contest, athletes have until October 9 to secure their respective invites. The 2023 Mr. Olympia show will return to Orlando, Florida from Nov. 2-5 inside the Orange County Convention Center.
Qualifying has been more difficult this year because there are fewer months to earn an invite than in 2022. In addition, the point system has been removed so bodybuilders must win a pro show to step on the big stage.
Heading into this weekend, all eyes were on the defending champion Hassan Mostafa, who took gold at this event last year. Tonight was extra important for Hassan as he narrowly missed receiving his Olympia invite to Iain Valliere back at the 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow. Meanwhile, fans also expected a solid performance from veteran Phil Clahar, who continues to defy time with improvements season-to-season.
In the end, Phil Clahar emerged victorious this weekend in Orlando and will have the opportunity to face the reigning Mr. Olympia Hadi Choopan. ‘The Persian Wolf’ asserted himself at the top of the category last year after dispatching contenders Derek Lunsford and Nick Walker in the finals.

During prejudging and the finals, fans and the judges acknowledged it was a two-man battle between the reigning champion Hassan Mostafa and Phil Clahar. Clahar brought great conditioning which helped him shine during some of the comparisons. Many fans saw the contest close as Mostafa once again brought an impressive package to the stage.
Clahar has his sights set on the upcoming Masters Olympia contest in Romania on Aug. 26-27, 2023. Although he hasn’t clinched a victory in an Open show since turning pro in 2018, he has consistently been a strong contender in several competitions. In fact, he secured the second overall position at the 2021 Tampa Pro, finishing just behind Valliere.
Clahar’s most recent appearance was at the 2022 Boston Pro, where he achieved a respectable sixth place.
Winner — Phil Clahar
Second Place — Hassan Mostafa
Third Place — Stan de Longeaux
Fourth Place — Emmanuel Alvarez
Fifth Place — Chris Didomenico

Iain Valliere & Hassan Mostafa Show Off Peeled Updates Before 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow
The bodybuilding season is in full swing as competitors have until October 9 to earn a Mr. Olympia invitation. In a pair of Instagram posts, Iain Valliere and Hassan Mostafa showed off their latest progress just days before competing at this weekend’s 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow.
As a Men’s Open talent, Iain Valliere quickly garnered attention in the league courtesy of his dry conditioning and wide back. Last year, Valliere earned his Mr. Olympia invite following an intense battle with fellow standout Antoine Vaillant at the 2022 Vancouver Pro.
Holding on to 280 pounds, Valliere targeted his best look at last year’s Mr. Olympia but was met with heavy resistance in 11th place. In the aftermath, Valliere was open about his performance and said problems with sodium contributed to the lackluster showing. Nevertheless, Valliere made it clear he would come back stronger.
With improvements being his number one priority, Valliere has taken measures in the gym, such as reintroducing deadlifts into his workout routine. He also rejoined his former coach Matt Jansen, who is responsible for training a host of top-tier athletes some of which include Nick Walker, Shaun Clarida, and Quinton Eriya.
If Valliere wants to earn his 2023 Mr. Olympia invite, he’ll need to get past Hassan Mostafa this weekend. Mostafa is riding momentum following a successful season last year. He earned back-to-back first-place finishes at the 2022 Orlando Pro and Puerto Rico Pro.
Before getting the chance to step on the Olympia stage, Mostafa was forced to withdraw due to a health scare. He told fans that another prep could have caused further damage to his kidneys so he didn’t want to risk his wellbeing. While he wasn’t able to perform at Olympia last December, Hassan plans to make up for lost time this year if he earns his qualification.
Iain Valliere and Hassan Mostafa Look Absolutely Shredded Days from 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow This Weekend
In two posts, Valliere updated fans on his current condition less than a week before taking to the stage. Given his hardness and muscle detail, many fans have labeled Valliere the frontrunner this weekend. He enters the 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow as the highest-raking Olympian.
Mostafa continues to improve year to year. Given his success in 2022, the bodybuilding community wouldn’t be surprised if Mostafa secured the win. Considering his vascularity and detail, it appears the show in Toronto will come down to who brings the best balance of conditioning and symmetry.
Aside from training, both men have kept followers updated on their nutrition. Last week, Valliere shared a shredding diet he’s using to bring his best package possible to his home country. It consisted of six meals, which were all high in protein.
Whether it’s the off-season or Ramadan, Hassan is solely dedicated to improving as a bodybuilder. He’s also working with Chad Nicholls, a bodybuilding coach who trained legends like eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman and two-time winner Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay.

With the 2023 Mr. Olympia show in less than six months, athletes are focused on prepping for the event or qualifying. Should Hassan Mostafa or Iain Valliere earn their invite this weekend, they will have a shot at knocking Hadi Choopan off the throne in November.

Hassan Mostafa Shares Ramadan Diet And Workout
Bodybuilder Hassan Mostafa might have lost the opportunity to compete at the 2022 Mr. Olympia, but it has not disheartened him one bit and he continues to give blood, sweat and tears to the sport of bodybuilding. Mostafa is in the middle of a competition prep during the holy month of Ramadan. A devout muslim, he is doing everything in his power to observe Ramadan and still prepare for the competition.
The Egyptian bodybuilder is the latest addition to the list of prominent competitors that emerged from the middle-east. In his pro bodybuilding debut at the 2019 Indy Pro, Hassan Mostafa’s insane conditioning and musculature became a major talking point. He finished third at the show and performed well at the 2020 Tampa Pro and New York Pro.
An unfortunate health issue forced the Egyptian bodybuilder to stop training and he had to sit out the rest of the year. Spearheading into the 2021 competitive season, Mostafa competed a whopping seven times in 2021 and earned a qualification to the 2021 Olympia on the back of multiple top three finishes. He finished in the top 15 at the Olympia debut. The year 2022 proved to be a year of stark contrasts for the Egyptian Tank.
After dominant showings at the 2022 Puerto Rico Pro and the 2022 Orlando Pro, Mostafa earned a direct qualification for the 2022 Mr. Olympia. He was expected to do some damage at the show but had to pull out of the show due to a health scare.
He has now got his health back on track and resumed training. The ninth month of the Islamic calendar, Ramadan is observed by Muslims around the world as a month of praying, fasting, reflection, and community. In his recent video, Hassan Mostafa shared what his typical day looks like in the holy month of Ramadan.
Hassan Mostafa’s training and diet during Ramadan
Mostafa’s routine has flipped literally 180 degrees as he was in the prep during the holy month of Ramadan. He had to wake up in the afternoon, pray and do cardio. He usually stayed up the whole night and slept after the sunrise. Is it an ideal practice to follow during the holy month? No. But Mostafa stated:
“Of course it is not ideal for Ramadan to stay up all night and sleep some of the day. I know many people can’t do that. But due to prep and my online coaching, I have the flexibility to do so.”
Things were slightly different until the previous year. Mostafa had a day job and he could fast and work the whole day. But with the bodybuilding competition prep, he has to play with the routine a little bit and do what is best to achieve the goals.
Starting the day – Cardio and Iftar Meal
Mostafa starts his day an hour and half before the iftar time. Iftar is the fast-breaking evening meal of Muslims during the holy month at the time of adhan of the Maghrib prayer. Doing cardio with an empty stomach is not easy, especially when a person is fasting for long hours for an entire month. However, Mostafa’s experience says that if you are used to doing fasted cardio for the rest of the year, doing it during Ramadan shouldn’t be too difficult either.
“I’m not saying it’s easy. But it’s not too hard that I can’t do it. Yes, I’m more tired, more thirsty but the energy is the same and the effort is the same as usual,” he added.
The 2022 Orlando Pro winner plans his routine in such a way that he can break the fast within a few minutes of finishing the cardio session. On the day of recording this video, Mostafa finished the cardio session and prepared the first meal of his day. It consisted of 6 whole eggs, 200 grams of ground beef, and 1 tsp coconut oil.
The Egyptian Tank adds salt, pepper and other flavoring substances to his omelet as long as they don’t add any calories. His diet at the moment does not include carbohydrates and he is relying solely on protein and fats for functioning. Admittedly, it wasn’t as easy for Mostafa to adjust to this diet but he managed to bring things under control.
“Anyone that isn’t controlling their carb intake be careful with how you start. Obviously avoid sugary juices and especially dates – take only 1 to 3. If you can’t control it, then avoid it altogether,” Mostafa advised the viewers.
Mostafa broke the day long fast with this iftar meal and went on to do the workout later.
Workout post-workout meal
The 31-year-old allows his body to rest for a couple of hours after an iftar meal to digest the food well. He then heads to the gym for the workout. On the day of recording, Mostafa tackled an arms workout that included:
After tackling the evening workout with furious intensity, Mostafa heads back home to eat the post-workout meal and fuel the muscle growth. His post-workout meal on this particular day consisted of 225 grams of fish and ½ Avocado.
Subsequent meals and the rest of the day
He finishes the meal quickly, rests for a while, and spends time with family. Mostafa then eats the third meal of 200 grams of ground beef while enjoying his favorite TV show. The fourth meal, 225 grams of fish and ½ avocado follow shortly after.
“In Ramadan, there isn’t a lot of time to take a long break from one meal to the other. So I eat my meals even if I don’t have the appetite for it. If the digestion isn’t going well, I take probiotics and digestion supplements to help with that,” Mostafa said.
Since Mostafa’s diet is configured with certain goals, it does not change on a day-to-day basis. As a result, he cooks his meals in batches to last for a few days at a time. This saves precious time in the daily routine which would otherwise be spent cooking.
The 2022 Puerto Rico Pro winner then proceeds to do an hour of cardio and follows it up with the fifth and final meal of the day which is similar to his Iftar meal in composition. This concludes Hassan Mostafa’s day of training and diet during the holy month of Ramadan.
He then takes a good night’s or rather a good day’s sleep to recover and get ready for another day of hard work. Hassan Mostafa’s diet during Ramadan is summarised:
Meal 1 – Iftar Meal / Pre-Workout Meal
6 Whole Eggs
200 grams Ground Beef
1 tsp Coconut Oil
Meal 2 – Post-Workout Meal
250 grams Fish
½ Avocado
Meal 3
200 grams Ground Beef
Meal 4
225 grams Fish and ½ Avocado
Meal 5 – Post Cardio Meal
6 Whole Eggs
200 grams Ground Beef
1 tsp Coconut Oil
Hassan Mostafa Joins Chad Nicholls’ Camp
Hassan Mostafa trained under Coach Chris Aceto during the initial stages of his bodybuilding career. However, he switched over to the Cement Factory, which is known for helping athletes in achieving top-level conditioning. Under CF head coach AJ Sims’ guidance, Mostafa secured his first Pro show win at the 2023 Puerto Rico Pro and continued to train with him so far.
However, the caption to a recent Instagram post on Mostafa’s account confirmed he is training under famed bodybuilding coach Chad Nicholls AKA The Diet Doctor’s camp. You can read the caption below, courtesy of Mostafa’s personal Instagram account:
“Excited is an understatement ? pushing harder than ever!! #TeamMayhem #TheTank
Super excited for the upcoming championship !!! Working hard thank god.”
The comments section on the post was flooded with questions regarding Mostafa’s move. Military veteran and bodybuilder Roy Evans even welcomed Mostafa to the team and wrote:
“@hassan_mostafa92 my brother. Welcome to the team ?????? #teammayhem #newbeginnings”
Mostafa also gave a positive response to Fitness Volt’s comment, which confirms beyond doubt that he has made a move to Team Mayhem.

Chad Nicholls has trained some of the most elite bodybuilders in history like 8X Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman, 7X Mr. Olympia Phil Heath, Brandon Curry and Phil Heath to name a few. Mostafa’s career might elevate to the next level under the Diet Doc’s tutelage. Until then, let’s wait and watch how things unfold.

Hassan Mostafa Shares Physique Update Three Days Out Of Orlando Pro Championships
Hassan Mostafa is looking to pick up another victory over the holiday weekend.
Last year, Hassan Mostafa had plenty of expectations and was able to remain busy over the course of the season. This time around, Mostafa looks to be taking his physique to the next level. On Wednesday morning, Mostafa revealed a physique update as he prepares to take the stage for the second time in 2022.
Mostafa competed six times prior to the Olympia last season. He earned four top-five finishes and three in the top three. Mostafa finished third during the New York Pro and California Pro. He was able to earn enough qualification points to appear in the Olympia, where he finished 13th, despite not winning a show. Mostafa will not have that problem this season.
During the Puerto Rico Pro, Mostafa looked superior and was able to take home the gold. He might be qualified for the biggest show of the year in December but he wants to keep the momentum going this weekend.
Hassan Mostafa Looks To Dominate Orlando
Hassan Mostafa has been active on social media over the previous two days sharing physique updates as he prepares to take the stage during the 2022 Orlando Pro Championships.
Hassan Mostafa has made significant improvements this year. He is bringing a leaner package to the stage with better conditioning. Mostafa is looking shredded in his physique updates. This gives Mostafa a chance to improve upon his position in the Olympia this time around.
In Orlando, Mostafa will be up against some of the same competitors that he was able to bear in San Juan. Jonas Giatras finished third and will look to take down Mostafa in Orlando. Maxx Charles will also return to the stage this weekend. He has already competed six times, including back-to-back third-place finishes at the New York Pro and Indy Pro.
If Hassan Mostafa is able to pick up another victory in Orlando, he will solidify his standing this year and be a threat over the course of the season. If his recent physique updates are any indication, it is clear that Mostafa has taken the next step and is the real deal in 2022.

Hassan Mostafa Looks Massive In Physique Update Preparing For 2022 Orlando Pro
Hassan Mostafa has been making improvements to his physique 13 weeks out of the Orlando Pro.
Hassan Mostafa looks hungry to take the next step during the 2022 season. In a recent physique update on social media, Mostafa is looking massive as he prepares to take the stage during the Orlando Pro.
The Orlando Pro will take place on July 2. With 13 weeks to prepare, it looks as though Mostafa is focusing on his conditioning in training. This is something that impacted his results in 2021 and it is clear that he is looking to make the necessary changes needed to get back on the podium.
“13 weeks out. Everything going as planned ?”
Hassan Mostafa finished fourth during the 2020 New York Pro and this is when he caught the eye of many in the bodybuilding world. Following the show, Mostafa was forced to take some time off after being hospitalized with an infection. This impacted his overall physique but Mostafa was able to get back on stage seven times in 2021.
Mostafa earned qualification to the 2021 Olympia despite not winning a competition. He was able to total enough points in the standings to earn his spot that way. Mostafa finished 13th at the Olympia and ninth at the 2021 Arnold Classic, which took place just two weeks prior. With the bodybuilding season back to its normal schedule, Mostafa is preparing to attack Orlando before anything else.
During the 2021 season, Mostafa’s conditioning was the main talking point about his physique. He is an extremely muscular bodybuilder and has plenty of mass needed to compete in Men’s Open. Now, he needs to work on the details and that has been his method of training. In recent physique updates, he has stated his goals and they are all leading up to Orlando.
The Egyptian bodybuilder has a chance to make some noise if he is able to make these changes to his physique. Hassan Mostafa has been working out frequently with Rafael Brandao at Flex Lewis’ Dragon Lair Gym. This has been motivation for all involved to give it their all while training.
For Mostafa, this is an important season to get back on track and all signs point to major improvement during competition. Fans have plenty to be excited about after looking at some recent updates.

California Pro Preview: Who Will Secure a Spot at the 2021 Olympia?
Who will claim victory at the California Pro?
The California Pro is upon us and will future some up and coming bodybuilders as well as the return of competitors who have been away from the scene for a bit. The talent pool for this show is pretty strong and it’s anyone’s guess as to who will secure victory. For whoever comes out on top, the Olympia stage will be waiting for them.
Without further ado, let’s delve into the list of top contenders to make a run at victory.
Hassan Mostafa
Recently placing third at the 2021 New York Pro, Hassan Mostafa is coming in with something to prove at the California Pro. For Mostafa conditioning will be the name of the game for this show. He missed a great opportunity at the NY Pro, but if he can dial in his conditioning for this weekend’s show he has a chance of coming out on top. He faces some stiff competition however so not only will he have to make sure his conditioning is on point, but his posing routine as well.
Patrick Moore
Like so many others 2020 was not a great year for Patrick Moore. While he possessed the kind of potential that could make him a Olympia champ some day, his underwhelming performances at the 2020 Arnold Classic, NY Pro, and Cali Pro forced Moore to go back to the drawing board. His extended off season saw him removing his tattoos and packing on a considerable amount of muscle. 2020 is certainly the past and Patrick Moore looks ready to make an impression in 2021. He’ll have to contend with Hassan Mostafa to ensure victory, but if he’s able to keep his lines while maintaining his current size, things look bright for Moore.
Fred “Biggie” Smalls
It’s been three years since Fred “Biggie” Smalls has stepped on a competitive bodybuilding stage. The veteran bodybuilder has not competed since the 2018 Indy Pro where he placed ninth. While victory for Smalls is a long shot, it’s not completely out of the question. After all, three years is a long time and that could have boosted his gains. Smalls is one of the most unique and entertaining posers in the game today, another factor to consider against this line up. Either way, Smalls will certainly need to bring his absolute best if he hopes to redeem himself.
Mohamed El Emam
After coming in second place at the Indy Pro, Mohamed El Emam definitely had some momentum heading into the NY Pro. Unfortunately, El Emam would end up at fifth place at the show. That said, he does have the goods to contend for top three at this show. With Patrick Moore stepping on the competitive stage for the first time this year, he’s an unknown quantity, one that El Emam hopes to overcome. That statement is doubly true for Fred Smalls. Mohamed El Emam could be the dark horse at this show, but he certainly has quite the mountain to climb.

Hassan Mostafa Drops an Impressive Posing Video Just Before the NY Pro
Hassan Mostafa is reminding the bodybuilding world why he’s the favorite.
The NY Pro is set to feature some impressive up and coming bodybuilders. This next generation of competitors have all the tools necessary to take the bodybuilding world by storm. One of those athletes is Hassan Mostafa who recently gave a preview of the physique he’s bringing to the NY Pro.
Coming in second place at the 2020 NY Pro, Hassan Mostafa is the favorite heading into this show. He’s physique is impressive and complete. That is it was the last time we saw him on stage. Since then some have raised concerns about his midsection.
In certain progress pics and videos, Mostafa has shown a bit of bloat around his midsection. As such, many have wondered if this weak point would hinder his performance at the NY Pro.
While his midsection being bloated is a legitimate cause for concern, Hassan Mostafa just put those worries to bed.
An Impressive Physique Days Out
In a recent post on Instagram Mostafa showcased his current physique days out from the NY Pro. Suffice it to say his midsection has been taken care of and he’s looking great.
Much of the focus heading into the NY Pro has been placed on Blessing Awodibu and Nick Walker. Hassan Mostafa was always a clear front runner, but it can’t be denied that the Blessing-Walker beef brought a different level of intrigue.
With all that said, Hassan Mostafa showing this level of physique days out changes the narrative. There’s no doubt that Mostafa should be the favorite at the NY Pro. He has the musculature and symmetry that sets him apart from the rest of the field. He has also been working with veterans like the legend Flex Wheeler and Jose Raymond. Both veterans have helped Mostafa take his posing to another level which is sure to round out his game.
Blessing Awodibu, Nick Walker, and Justin Rodriguez will be Mostafa’s main competition at the show. But if he brings a package like this to the stage, there’s no doubt that he’s ready for the challenge.
