Seth Feroce Reacts to Death of Jo Lindner aka ‘Joesthetics’: ‘Another Good Guy Gone Way Too Soon’
German bodybuilder Jo Lindner, popularly known as ‘Joesthetics,’ was celebrated for his insanely shredded physique and crazy striations. His tragic passing rocked the bodybuilding world earlier this month. In a recent video uploaded on YouTube, Seth Feroce shared his reaction to the death of ‘Joesthetics.’
Canadian IFBB Pro Seth Feroce first gained attention for his impressive muscle mass, size, and build in the early 2000s. While he hasn’t competed in several years, he still has his finger on the pulse of bodybuilding. He’s known for his outspoken personality and isn’t afraid to ruffle some feathers with his hot takes on a range of topics related to fitness, especially steroid use.
In Sep. 2022, Feroce issued a stark warning against the overuse of Trenbolone by younger bodybuilders, with some taking upwards of 1,000 milligrams of the harsh substance. He reported positive updates about his health and admitted he regrets not competing more, leaving the door open for a potential comeback. Then, he crushed a brutal arm workout showing off his jacked package in Oct. 2022.
Earlier this year, Feroce opened up on his ambitions to cut down the fat he had put on over the last three years. He expressed his affinity for bodybuilding and declared plans to get back to his best form by getting super shredded. Next, he collaborated with Fitness Olympia winner Missy Truscott for a challenging shoulder workout two months ago.
Social media sensation Joesthetics gained attention for his symmetrical package with a ripped midsection and freakish striations. He offered fitness-based content infused with a touch of comedy. His training clips and skits lifting weights quickly gained him over 9 million followers on Instagram.
Joesthetics opened up on a health scare he faced after taking diuretics and his experience using insulin last month. He reasoned that diuretics could result in extreme dehydration and revealed the craziest steroid cycle he ever used in competition. He joined forces with powerlifting sensation Larry Wheels weeks later to help Wheels sharpen his posing skills ahead of his highly anticipated bodybuilding debut.
On July 1, Lindner’s girlfriend announced he passed away at 30 years old because of an aneurysm. Members of the community rushed in with their support and paid tributes online. There was speculation about what caused Lindner’s death at such a young age with some blaming it on the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine after Lindner revealed ‘heavy metals,’ ‘particles,’ and clots were found in his blood.
Seth Feroce Reacts to Death of ‘Joesthetics’ aka Jo Lindner
In a recent YouTube video, Seth Feroce reacted to the passing of ‘Joesthetics,’ aka Jo Lindner.
Feroce was on vacation when he heard the news and although he did not know him, he felt the impact Jo had.
“Another bodybuilder’s dead, Joe Lindner, Joesthetics, another one that sucks. Another guy gone way too soon, another good guy gone way too soon,” continued Feroce. “I never met Joe. I didn’t know him personally but I never met one person that had anything bad to say about that man.
“We were on vacation when he passed. I’m not going to lie, it stopped me in my f**king tracks like oh b***h, Joe was 30 years old.”
He doesn’t believe there’s reason to speculate whether steroids had anything to do with it.
“I don’t care what you do it’s your life. But what I do care about is whenever people talk sh*t, make a bunch of claims that they don’t know f**k all about about another man’s life whenever he’s passed.
“I don’t know if [steroids] had anything to do with his death, not going to speculate because I haven’t heard anything behind the scenes.”
“People can speculate all they want. They can say there’s a reason that he passed and is that reason ever going to be found out? We don’t know nor does it really matter because there’s another good man gone from the planet.”
Feroce lauded Joesthetics for being one of the nicest people in the industry and inspiring others to better themselves.
“We are in this community to become better people. We don’t pass judgment on other people because of what they do with their lives. When someone chooses to do whatever they want to in their life, that’s what they do. With Joe like I said I never heard a bad thing about that man. In an industry full of fake, ignorant, dick, douchebag people, to not hear one bad thing about that man, says a lot about his character and the people he influenced and why so many people loved him.”
“A lot of young men want to become better versions of themselves because of Joe.”
Feroce paid his tributes to Jo with some of his favorite things about him.
“What boggles our mind is people that don’t smoke, don’t drink, don’t ever do anything bad, they do exactly what they are supposed to, they are perfect in every sense of the word, they eat healthy and do all these things, and then somehow come down with breast cancer or lung cancer or get hit by a train or a bus, something just takes their life way too soon. These things happen in life.
“One thing guaranteed is we’re going to die in life. Just a matter of if there’s any cool stories to tell about you when you’re gone. With Joe, I’ll remember Joe for his alien gains and wow’d look, for his funny comedic videos, and also for giving sound bro science advice.”
“Whenever bad sh*t happens because of some of the things you do that’s just how it goes. You can’t cry about it. It’s sad, it’s gut-wrenching especially because death does not care whether you are a good person or not.”
Joesthetics served as an inspiration to millions of younger fitness fans and his legacy will continue to live on the internet.

Fitness Community Reacts to Jo Linder’s Mysterious Death at 30, Questions Raised About Cause of Death
The world of fitness and bodybuilding has been shattered by the devastating death of Jo Linder, known as “Joesthetics,” who succumbed to a fatal aneurysm at 30 years old, according to his girlfriend. The latest to make sense of this tragedy is Greg Doucette, a popular coach and former bodybuilder.
Linder, known for charm, charisma, and a shredded physique, amassed a social media empire over the last several years with an eccentric personality and fun collaborations with other influencers, such as powerlifting great Larry Wheels. He grew his Instagram following to a staggering 8.4 million and often inspired fans with workouts, where they could see first-hand the dedication he had to stay extremely fit.
Following his tragic death, fans have questioned if steroids and performance-enhancing drugs played a role in his demise. Linder has been open online about his steroid cycles in the past, as he went over his regimen in detail with Wheels last October. During the candid interview, Jo said growth hormone never helped him during his days of bodybuilding, but added that insulin was looked at like a ‘magic sauce.’
While an autopsy has yet to be completed, others have pointed to the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines as a possible culprit. These suspicions arose after Linder’s recent appearance on Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk Podcast. Linder shared that he and doctors discovered ‘heavy metals,’ ‘particles,’ and clots in his blood, which led to him cleaning his blood with treatments of plasmapheresis.
“Did you get the vax?” asks Bradley Martyn.
“I got the vax yeah, yeah. Even four [of them]. It also, bro you know how it is… it’s the same like you go to a party and you hang with the wrong people all of a sudden you might do something on this party that you don’t want to do because there’s these people [nudging you], ‘You know, you should do it,”‘ said Jo Linder.
“I did blood cleaning twice after all this. I did plasmapheresis to take out heavy metals and all that stuff. I did all this. I don’t know if this is too controversial probably to say. I went to the doctor and I did my blood work again because I check my blood work all the time, I show it to the doctor and we kind of see these particles…I’m like what is this? This is from this [the vaccines]. I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ I show it to another one of my friends, there’s all kinds of websites you can’t get to and there’s some crazy conspiracies,” said Jo Linder.
According to Linder, a doctor told him that if he wanted to survive the vaccines he would need to undergo additional plasmapheresis treatments. Many have noted that Linder also suffered from rippling muscle disease, which he used to his benefit on social media. Meanwhile, other fans have suggested that his excessive coffee habit contributed to a heart attack from a caffeine overdose.
“The doctor was like you need to do it man if you want to survive after you took these shots, bro, that’s how it was actually,” said Linder. “I don’t know if the nurse did something weird. This was in Thailand obviously, when she took out the blood, there was a white thing in there. I’m like, ‘What the fu** is that?’ I’m like, ‘What the fuck is this?’ I show this to my friend, he’s into conspiracies.”
“He showed me all these websites, since they do this to people since so many, they found this in athletes and stuff and there’s a weird reason why people, they die, they have these wide blood clots, tons of them – in their blood – everywhere. He’s like, ‘Maybe this is what you have?’”
“There was no white thing, there was probably some air, the nurse didn’t do it right. But the [doctors], he’s said, ‘There’s some black particles, these are the heavy metals you have in your blood.’”
Community Reacts to Jo Linder’s Death at 30, Greg Doucette Discusses Tragedy and Explores Cause of Death
With the fitness and bodybuilding communities up-in-arms regarding Linder’s death, Greg Doucette took to a recent YouTube video to set the record straight. While some believe steroids could have been a factor, Greg says Jo stopped abusing PEDs and was only using hormone replacement therapy at the time of his death.
“Joe was very proactive with his health. Remember, he did in fact abuse PEDs when he was younger but he was only on HRT, and when he prepped for his various competitions, he hardly added anything to his cycle. I can promise you he was very concerned with his health, far more than the average person, was getting regular blood work and doing everything the right way.”
Doucette highlighted that autopsy details haven’t emerged and no one actually knows how Linder died.
“So because of that, many people are speculating that they know that the reason for Jo’s passing is because he did those four shots [COVID-19 vaccines and boosters]. Well, other people are speculating, no it has nothing to do with that, it absolutely has everything to do with that he was not 100% natural. Now remember, it’s only been a few days and an autopsy has not yet been performed. So people that are saying it’s a blood clot, that they know this for a fact, that it’s an aneurysm, that it’s a heart attack, nobody actually knows the exact answer,” said Doucette.
Following the tragedy, deaths in bodybuilding have been hurled back into the spotlight. Over the years, fans have taken notice of the risks as athletes like Shawn Rhoden, George Peterson, and Cedric McMillian all met their fates before turning 50 years old. The trend prompted retired IFBB Pro Seth Feroce to issue intense warnings about the dangers of steroid use last year.
Jo Linder’s passing has saddened the fitness and bodybuilding world, leaving behind many questions about the cause of his death. While some blame steroids, vaccines, or caffeine, it’s evident “Joesthetics” had a profound impact on those around him.

Bradley Martyn & Jo Linder Talk Drug Abuse, Insulin Scares, and ‘Craziest Cycles’ Ever Taken
Fitness influencer Jo Linder well known as ‘Joesthetics,’ achieved fame with a shredded physique he sports year-round. In a recent episode of Bradley Martyn‘s Raw Talk, Linder reflected on his arrival to America for the first time, insulin, and his craziest steroid cycles.
In fitness and bodybuilding, performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) have influenced athletes’ physiques for decades. Despite their taboo nature, their use, abuse, and mismanagement have become rather interesting talking points online.
Bodybuilders often use PEDs to enhance their already muscle-bound physiques. And the same goes for fitness influencers like Jo Linder, however, some members of these communities claim they have built their physiques through natural means, with hard work, nutrition, and discipline.
Popular names like Mike O’Hearn, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and Chirs Hemsworth come to mind. Even though fans have no concrete evidence they use such drugs, many in the community are convinced, including Joe Rogan. He’s taken to multiple Joe Rogan Experience podcasts to urge many of these superstars to come clean.
As for Jo Linder, he takes a more transparent approach regarding PEDs. He is open to talking about his use and even discussed past cycles in the company of respected powerlifting phenom Larry Wheels. This time, he sat down with Martyn and offered him a behind-the-scenes look at building a next-level physique. They also discussed Jo’s arrival in the U.S. and his reaction to the American culture.
Jo Linder and Bradley Martyn Discuss Life in the U.S. + Substance Abuse & Legality
Splitting up his time in Dubai and Thailand, this is Jo Linder’s first trip to Northern America. He was pleasantly surprised by the availability and accessibility of marijuana.
“First time for me in the U.S. I just realized that you know here also weed is legal. So I used that to be able to sleep. It helps me big time. In Thailand, they just recently started to legalize weed, kind of. They’ve been the first Asian country to make it medically prescribed. I actually had a medical prescription license already since a while over there.”
“I never admitted to this ever, I never have said this before that I smoke weed bro, no. Never said it ever anywhere that I would smoke,” Jo Linder said. “Mostly sleep or also when you answer DMs and comments and stuff and you’re just in the zone and I’m so calm bro. Otherwise, I get too high-tempered online right, they say some stupid shit and you just be quiet. It’s easy to react.”

Jo Linder Discusses ‘Craziest Cycle’ & Shares Insulin Health Scare: “Don’t Do It”
Before delving into details about his most intense cycle ever, Jo Linder explained why he’s afraid of diuretics. He said they dry out the body before contests after it’s already in a vulnerable state of dehydration.
“Let’s be honest, the heart is also a muscle and that’s my biggest concern. What if I have such a bad cramp that my heart gets a cramp,” said Linder. “That makes me scared. That’s why I’m also staying away from a bit of bodybuilding competitions too much because I would take all these diuretics.
If I just stopped eating salt and drink a lot, and stop drinking as well, and you pee everything out, and you take a diuretic on top, and then you pee even more so, I cannot exist kind of [when I do that] I cannot walk. That’s what’s been scary. Oh yeah, you have this already and you dehydrate yourself more, maybe your heart will give up at one point,” said Jo Linder.
Linder said he’s experienced with high doses but never went over 600 milligrams of any compound except testosterone. According to Jo, his craziest cycle of all time was 100 milligrams of Primobolan daily, 100 milligrams of Trenbolone daily, and testosterone.
“To be honest, I’ve done all kinds of crazy shit in the past. I’ve tried different dosages, the highest kind of test that I ever ran was 750, 750 and then like, never, I never used a single compound more than 600 milligrams except the 750 milligrams of test.”
“The craziest cycle I’ve probably did this stupid coach back in the day put me on 100 milligrams of prop, and 100 milligrams of tren every day. It was like 700 and 700, that was a sick cycle right there. I was 105 kg at the start of the diet, it went down to 102 just 3kg, then I didn’t even need to do cardio I was just the guy who was getting more saucy more ripped, weight stays the same, and just getting more lean and dry by the day.”
Since Jo adheres to a diet almost year-round, it was very difficult for him to use Insulin effectively in prep. He added that he suffered from a few ‘close calls’ with his health.
“I tried also, people would tell you growth is so good, so good man, obviously I need to try it right? I tried a few times with insulin but as you know, I’m low body fat and I diet almost always, and insulin, if you eat a lot it’s maybe okay, but for me, if I try to do it, let’s say I take 5 IUs pre-workout and I try to do here with a sugar drink, then you do too many sets, then you forget to drink your intra workout, and you’re just dripping. Really man, close calls man, close calls man, don’t do it,” Jo Linder said.
For his last Men’s Physique contest a few months ago, Linder shared that he used 75 milligrams of Tren, 250 milligrams of test, and 100 milligrams of Primobolan.
“I personally, I really experienced it again now in March. I did another show, I tried to get a pro card and I used a bit of tren. I also did not mention this before. Just 75 milligrams of tren, no per week. On top of 250 test, so I did 250 test, I did 75 tren, and 100 primo also. I like primo a lot. Minimum effective dose I always believe is the best. For example, there’s kids just starting to work out and they are taking two CCs of test per week.”
With the sport of bodybuilding growing, conversations about PEDs have become common. In fact, Arnold Schwarzenegger recently unveiled the two-compound cycle he used to sustain himself as a dominant seven-time Mr. Olympia.
In an age where content is king, some worry that steroids and social media make for a dangerous combination. As for Jo Linder, he hopes to encourage young people to realize that the “minimum effective dose is always the best” should they choose to go down the route of enhancements.
