Andrew Jacked Credits Larry Wheels For Pushing Him To Limits: ‘Larry Has Played A Big Factor In My Life’

Andrew Jacked Credits Larry Wheels For Pushing Him To Limits: ‘Larry Has Played A Big Factor In My Life’

Andrew Jacked reflects on when he met Larry Wheels and they began training.
Andrew Jacked is an up-and-coming talent in the Men’s Open division. He is preparing to make an impact at the professional level and credits a large portion of his career to the hip of Larry Wheels.
Jacked won the 2022 Arnold Amateur bodybuilding contest. He is a mass monster with great conditioning that keeps his physique in championship shape all year round. Before really taking off as a bodybuilder, Jacked began training with some of the biggest names in the sport. Recently, Jacked has been working out at the Dragon’s Lair Gym in Las Vegas. He joined Flex Lewis on the latest edition of his podcast to discuss his history with Wheels.

Andrew Jacked Began Lifting With Larry Wheels Early On
Andrew Jacked had bodybuilding aspirations for years and clearly had the physique to impress on stage. He encountered Wheels at the gym and he was the one who guided Jacked on how to build his brand, especially on social media.
Jacked reflected on how the two got together and began crushing workouts.
“I was training with a friend of mine, a client of mine, at one of his friend’s gym and I saw Larry Wheels there doing a video. I didn’t know him because I didn’t know who was popular on social media. As a guy who sees another guy, we did the eye stuff, and he’s like okay cool.
So, I think the next day I was about to train the guys, it’s 8 A.M. In the parking lot, Larry just got out of his car, and I got out of my car and we connected.”
Larry Wheels could not believe that Andrew Jacked was not on Instagram at this point and the two created the account together. Wheels was the one who came up with the name Andrew Jacked.
“From first sight, we connected. We went straight to his hotel room. Thinking about the Instagram name, I told him, ‘hey man, I don’t have any idea what to say.’ I was bringing up all my names, and the assistant said, ‘Andrew Jacked is good. You just Andrew Jacked.’”

Andrew Jacked: “I Still Call Him The Big Bro”
Andrew Jacked continued to explain how Larry Wheels improved his mentality and guided him into building a huge following. This is the way he built his reputation and put his name on the bodybuilding map.
“I still call him the big bro because he’s someone that will push you past your limits. You train with Larry Wheels, you’ll mentality automatically goes up. He’s a wonderful guy. People have said some bullshit about that guy but he’s a very genuine guy.”
Andrew Jacked has continued to share physique updates as he prepares for his professional debut. He seems to have a different mindset and a chip on his shoulder as he prepares to dominate at the next level.

Larry Wheels Hints at Competing in Classic Physique Division

Larry Wheels Hints at Competing in Classic Physique Division

Larry Wheels to compete in the Classic Physique division?
Strength athlete Larry Wheels recently hinted at competing in the Classic Physique division. Having competed in the Open division prior, it appears that the popular powerlifter and bodybuilder is looking not only to return to the posing stage, but in a different division to boot.
Always known for challenging himself and breaking personal records, Larry Wheels is always experimenting with competing in different strength sports. With a pretty well developed physique it was natural for Larry to try his hand at bodybuilding. His foray into bodybuilding saw him competing in the Men’s Open division. While he put in a decent showing, it was quite clear that he lacked the kind of size to put the division on notice.
Larry Wheels is heavily muscled compared to the average athlete. That said, he doesn’t have nearly enough size to be truly competitive in the Open division. But while he may not be a mass monster, Larry is discovering more and more that his frame fits another category rather smoothly.
A Big Move
The Classic Physique division appears to be an ideal category for Larry Wheels. It possesses athletes that are well muscled, but nowhere near the hulking beasts in the Open division. Larry has the kind of frame that would fit nicely.
In a recent post to Instagram Larry Wheels admitted that he’s flirting with the idea of competing in the Classic Physique division.

I would like to try classic bodybuilding poses. I think my physique suits that division much better then open bodybuilding poses.

Larry Wheels is looking pretty impressive currently. If he did decide to try his hand in the Classic Physique division, all signs point to him doing pretty well. While he may still have to shore up certain parts of his physique, Larry has the musculature to make some waves.
Do you think Larry Wheels would be competitive in the Classic Physique division?

Larry Wheels Wants To Become “Lightest Man” To Deadlift 1,000 Pounds Using Conventional Stance

Larry Wheels Wants To Become “Lightest Man” To Deadlift 1,000 Pounds Using Conventional Stance

Larry Wheels will take on the challenge during the 2022 Middle East’s Strongest Man competition.
Larry Wheels has been taking his deadlifts to the next level during recent training sessions. It is clear that he is eyeing a huge number when he takes the stage during the Middle East’s Strongest Man competition in August. Recently, Wheels took on a 72-rep deadlift workout in hopes of becoming the lightest competitor to lift 1,000 pounds.
Wheels was wearing a suit in order to help aid the lifts. He broke it down into nine reps of eight during this particular session. In a YouTube video, Wheels showed off the workout and explained his goals moving forward.
“We are on track for pulling a 1000 pounds at 2022 Middle East’s Strongest Man. On top of that, I am looking to become the lightest man to ever do it with a conventional stance.”

Larry Wheels’ Back Progression

Larry Wheels is a multi-talented athlete having taken part in powerlifting, bodybuilding, and arm wrestling. He was part of the 2019 Odd Haugen Strength Classic and is looking to compete in another strongman event. This is why he has focused on improving all lifts and it is led by deadlifts.
“If you haven’t noticed, my back is thick as f**k right now. My t-spine area, rhomboids, traps, obliques, everything has gotten substantially thicker.”
It is natural that Wheels has been able to build his back up during these workouts. That will also assist in other lifts during the competition. During this process, Wheels has lost weight and currently weighs 122kg (269lb). This makes his feats of strength even more impressive.
Larry Wheels has been taking his health seriously after a recent string of deaths in strength sports and bodybuilding. He has been getting checked out by doctors to make sure that his heart is healthy. While preparing for this show, Wheels has stopped taking growth hormones and is focused on his meals.
“I’m on just three meals a day. Normal portions, like 800 calories per meal, not force-feeding, and I feel great.”
Larry Wheels crushed a back workout after finishing all 72 reps of deadlifts. He has announced that 1,000 pounds is his goal for the upcoming show in August and he seems on track to getting there at this rate.

Larry Wheels Explains The Biggest Deadlift Mistake… And How Fixing It Made Him A Lifting Beast

Larry Wheels Explains The Biggest Deadlift Mistake… And How Fixing It Made Him A Lifting Beast

“One of the biggest mistakes I made when I first started work with coach Gaglione was I wouldn’t set my back position before I lifted. I had a bad habit of yanking the weight off the ground when I lifted as a teenager… Before I got any coaching in the deadlift, I was so focused on my floor speed; I never actually got tight and my back would round when pulling off the floor.”

For many newcomers, the deadlift can be one of the more intimidating exercises to perform. Or, for those more cocky, they can see it as a simple maneuver – you just pull the weight off the floor, right?
But performing a perfect deadlift is far more complex than it may seem. It’s also a powerful compound exercise making it worthy of the popularity and praise it receives as a bodybuilding, powerlifting, and strongman staple. Correct posture, controlling your core, and ensuring that you push your feet through the floor is essential. All of this must be done without becoming too tense and over-focusing on form and psyching yourself out.

ABOVE: Larry Wheels breaks down his worst ever lifting injury in our exclusive Geneartion Iron interview.
Larry Wheels goes into surprising detail (for an Instagram post at least) explaining how bracing properly before a lift is essential for optimizing the deadlift. It’s what separates a good lifter from an elite lifter. It’s the kind of advice that was a game changer for Wheels – and likely helped him rise up to the hardcore lifter we know today.
Larry Wheels breaks down how any aspiring lifter can try along at home:
“This may sound confusing at first yet you can try yourself at home.
Find your hip bones And place one hand there
Then find the bottom your rib cage.. the big fellas may need to do a little digging lol
Arch your back and notice the distance increases
Round over and you will notice the distance gets shorter
Now find that middle ground
This is a great way to learn how to position your back properly which is extremely important in both the squat and the deadlift”
The kind of advice for positioning your back properly that Larry Wheels gives here is a very helpful alternative to trying to find your middle position in the mirror. Different body types, shapes, and sizes all have a different “neutral” – making finding the position challenging until you’ve mastered it for yourself.
Ultimately, this is what is best about Larry Wheel’s post and advice. It’s one coming from experience and admitting past mistakes – rather than a generic catch all instruction manual that you can often find online. By making spine alignment more personal to his experience – and sharing tips on making it personal for anyone watching – Wheels proves that a few “secrets” to better lifts really do exist.
You can review his full post and breakdown of deadlift back and spine alignment above. And make sure to stick around the Generation Iron Fitness Network for news and updates on all things bodybuilding, fitness, and strength sports.

Larry Wheels Discusses “Healthier Approach” To PEDs: ‘I’m Trying My Best To Send The Right Message To Those Using’

Larry Wheels Discusses “Healthier Approach” To PEDs: ‘I’m Trying My Best To Send The Right Message To Those Using’

Larry Wheels believes a five-day blast is a healthier alternative to a full cycle.
The recent string of deaths in bodybuilding has opened the eyes of many in strength sports. This includes Larry Wheels, who is one of the most popular powerlifters in the game. He has been extremely open about his PED use and what can be done to make it better. Recently, Larry Wheels discussed an alternative to an 8-12 week cycle.
Wheels is know for his incredible feats of strength on social media. He is often seen setting a massive PR or repping a ton of weight in different exercises. He has dabbled in arm wrestling as well but is back to training as a powerlifter. Wheels is set to appear in the Middle East’s Strongest Man competition this year.
Wheels recently decided to get checked out by a doctor because of his steroid use over the last decade. At 27 years old, Wheels wanted to get ahead of any damage that these substances might have caused. Thankfully, the doctors did not find any reason for concern. Wheels continues to discuss alternatives for those who are already using PEDs.
Larry Wheels: ‘If You Do Not Already Use PEDs, Please Do Not’
Over the course of his career, Larry Wheels has used 8-12 week cycles. This allows him to compound different substances and let them do what they are supposed to. Instead, he believes the same can be done with a five-day blast and it might be healthier.

“There’s a couple specifically for strength that work extremely well and most people in the strength world use it as a bread and butter. I use those compounds for usually eight to 12 weeks. So, the first two weeks are okay but each week that you’re on, you’re body is enduring more and more stress. Side effects become increasingly more unbearable, and especially the most effective ones, the most effective steroids from gaining strength unfortunately come with the most potent side effects.”

Wheels did not always believe in this process over the course of his career. It was suggested by a coach and when he realized the results, Wheels decided that this could be an alternative.

“When my coach told me you could reach your all-time best in five days as opposed to the usual 8-12 weeks that I would use these compounds for, you can imagine I was a bit skeptical. But I took his word for it and did the entire eight week prep, for this 422-kilogram deadlift for a triple, which meant to only be two reps by the way.”

Larry Wheels has been on different substances for over a decade to put on size and gain strength in the gym. He also shared a message for those who have not started to cycle yet.

“To keep things more vague and trying my best to send the right message to those who are already using PEDs, not those who are natural and considering it. I’m trying to encourage a healthier approach to using PEDs for those who already do. Guys if you don’t already use PEDs please do not, you don’t need PEDs to get stronger.”

Wheels Believes In New Process, Believes He Knew It Sooner

“I wish I knew I could do it this way a decade ago. It’s a bit bittersweet that I’m only learning this now ten years after the fact of hitting my PRs and still making progress and having a successful lifting journey, but doing it in a much more unhealthy way compared to how I just did it over the last couple of months.”

Larry Wheels is now using this system primarily. Despite wishing he knew it a bit sooner, there is still a chance to implement and make it better. It does not seem as though the powerlifter will be off it anytime soon.

“There’s no temptation to go off program because the entire cycle, you’re not on these very potent compounds. You’re just on testosterone. You know if you just went off the program, and lifted for ego or social media, it’s not going to come out of your ass.”

Larry Wheels might not be a bodybuilder but he certainly has the physique for it. Despite his area of expertise, Wheels’ eyes were open by the recent string of deaths in bodybuilding. Now, he is discussing different ways to make it a safer environment.

Larry Wheels Sets New PR With Massive 930Lb Deadlift Triple

Larry Wheels Sets New PR With Massive 930Lb Deadlift Triple

Larry Wheels crushes new PR with deadlift triple.
It looks like Larry Wheels has done it again as he smashes a new personal record. The popular strength athlete was able to perform a 930lb deadlift triple for another PR. What makes the feat even more impressive is that Larry Wheels did so at a 275lb weight.
Planning to compete in Middle East, Strongest Man Larry Wheels is hard at work in the gym. As always, the popular strength athlete is pushing his limits, hoping to gain an edge in one of his biggest strongman competitions to date. The event is set to take place at the end of August in Dubai. That leaves Larry three more months until the competition. That should be plenty of time for him to build a great deal of strength and cement himself as one of the favorites at the show.
Larry Wheels is no stranger to breaking PR’s. His new goal is to deadlift 1000lbs, and he’s well on his way to achieving that milestone. Along his journey to deadlift 1000, Larry is utilizing different methods of training to build his strength. That includes performing a deadlift triple.
In one of his most recent trainings videos, Larry Wheels deadlifted 930lbs, this time for a triple. Larry is no stranger to deadlifting over 900lbs, but this time seems even more impressive, especially since he was able to do so in a conventional deadlifting stance. The sumo stance, which would have allowed Larry to get more leverage into the lift, isn’t allowed in strongman competitions. Therefore, Larry had to perform the movement in a more traditional fashion.
Whether it be sumo or conventional, Larry Wheels was able to showcase his massive strength in his most recent deadlifting feat.
930lb deadlift x 3 reps PRAt 275lb body weight

Larry Wheels performed the lift with equipment including a deadlift suit, a belt, and straps. His intense training and his intentions show that Larry is in this for the long haul. Not only does he want to win Middle East Strongest Man, but he also wants to go on to compete at the World Strongest Man and World Ultimate strongman competitions. He has high hopes and believes he can win top honors at both competitions. Whether that can be accomplished is still yet to be seen. But if there’s one thing that’s certain about Larry is that he’ll give it his all in order to achieve his goal.

Larry Wheels Talks Experiences On Trenbolone: ‘It’s A Life Living Hell’

Larry Wheels Talks Experiences On Trenbolone: ‘It’s A Life Living Hell’

Larry Wheels explains how Trenbolone is by far the worst steroid he has taken.
Larry Wheels has built a reputation as an elite powerlifter with a massive following. Over the course of his career, Wheels has dabbled with many PEDs and this is something he has recently opened up about more and more. This continued in a recent interview as the powerlifter went over his steroid use and explained how Trenbolone was the worst experience.
Wheels has gained 3.3 million followers on Instagram. He is known for his incredible feats of strength and shredded physique. From powerlifting, Wheels has also taken on arm wrestling and is nearing a return to strongman. Wheels has not taken part in bodybuilding but the recent string of deaths in the sport has opened the eyes of all close to it.
Shawn Rhoden passed away suddenly last year and this hit the bodybuilding world hard. George Peterson and Cedric McMillan also passed away due to heart complications and this shocked the community. Because of this, Wheels decided to get checked out by a doctor because of his steroid use over the last decade. At 27 years old, Wheels revealed that his heart is healthy and where it needs to be.
The conversation continued as Larry Wheels discussed how Trenbolone is the worst steroid that he has been on.

Larry Wheels On Trenbolone: “It’s A Nightmare To Deal With”
Many steroids come with side effects and these include mood swings, acne, and insomnia. These go along with the other long-term effects that athletes have. For Wheels, he did not have many side effects on substances but admitted that Trenbolone was “a living hell.”
“I tried to get rid of the bare minimum, but this Tren has just…besides the advantages, all of the other side effects they bring like mood swings, the insomnia, the acne. It’s just a nightmare to deal with. Is it even worth the small extra strength gain it will give you over something like a D-Bol or T-Bol or Deconate. Is it even worth it but it’s just a nightmare to deal with,” Wheels explained.

Wheels revealed recently that he had been using steroids for about 10 years now. This is when he began seeing differences in his physique and strength. After seeing what is happening in the sport of bodybuilding, he decided to check on his health and reflect on the last decade.
“I’ve been on PEDs for ten years straight right. The worst of them has definitely been Tren. I mean, all other PEDs my mental health is okay, I’m not paranoid or I’m not irritable or overly aggressive. So, it’s just that one, it’s just Tren. It’s a life living hell. I haven’t used it in a while for that reason, or orals for that matter.”

Larry Wheels Plans To Cut Back
Larry Wheels went into how steroid cycles are different than they were before. After 10 years of using, Wheels has decided to dial it back a bit to keep his health priorities first.
“We don’t really know what the long-term effect of abusing drugscan really be. We see guys like Arnold, and other bodybuilders back in the day, still okay today. But they were not using the same drugs that we were using today.”
“When these bodybuilders are passing away, a lot of them I’ve met personally, shook hands with. It’s just like surreal, they’re so young. Thirty, forty years old. They’re leaving behind children and wives, and it’s just really sad.”
Larry Wheels continues to prepare for the 2022 Middle East’s Strongest Man competition and has put up some more eye-popping numbers in the gym. Just because he plans to cut back on certain cycles does not mean that he is not going to be lifting. Wheels is at a point in his career where he has built enough strength to compete.
Now, the 27-year-old powerlifter will focus on his health moving forward.
“When you’re young, everyone tells you, ‘oh you’re young, don’t worry about it, you’re supposed to be healthy’ but you’re totally right on the same page. I’m going to be thirty soon. I need to dial things back. I want to have kids soon. I don’t want to be 35-40 trying to have kids. I don’t even know if I’m fertile or not, I have to deal with that as well and figure that out. Life hits you, you know. It comes fast.”

Larry Wheels Shares Update On Heart Health After ‘Abusing PEDs For 10 Years Straight’

Larry Wheels Shares Update On Heart Health After ‘Abusing PEDs For 10 Years Straight’

Larry Wheels recently shared his results from a trip to the doctor checking his major organs.
Larry Wheels is one of the most popular powerlifting personalities there is now. He has built an enormous following on social media with fans wanting to see his feats of strength including big weight for high reps. Recently, Wheels admitted to being concerned about his use of PEDs and shared an update on his health following a trip to the doctors.
At 27 years old, Wheels admitted that he has been using PEDs for 10 years now. In light of the recent string of deaths in bodybuilding, Wheels decided to get checked out to make sure his major organs were in good health. Cedric McMillan recently passed away. This was a shock coming after the devastating losses of Shawn Rhoden and George Peterson last year.

Wheels shared a video to YouTube to detail his own health but to also speak to other PED users out there.
“With recent events in the fitness industry – bodybuildersdropping dead to the heart attacks – it has left many of us concerned with our health. I’m talking about those of us who abuse PEDs and I have been abusing them for ten years straight now,” Larry Wheels said.
Since he was 17 years old, Larry Wheels had been using steroids to build the elite physique and strength that he has today. Wheels decided to finally get checked out after putting it off for quite some time.

At the doctors, Wheels went though an Electrocardiogram on a treadmill and Echocardiogram test. These are tests to identify different abnormalities such as irregular heartbeats, high heart rates, or blockages in arteries. Much to his delight, all tests on Wheels came back normal for his age.
“All of that checked out okay. I am shocked. I can’t believe myself after ten years of, well I guess not abusing as much as I thought I was, PEDs, my heart is, from what the doctor said, a perfectly normal healthy heart for a young man of my age.”
The doctors did reveal to Larry Wheels that his cardiac muscles were thicker than the average individual but this could be from his level of intense activity. An athlete’s heart goes through physiological changes during this activity.
Wheels continued in the video to speak on the deaths in bodybuilding and explained that this is the reason he went to the doctors. He ended his discussion with a call to action to other PED users and those individuals in bodybuilding and strength sports.
“This is a message for all those out there who might be using PEDs and who decided not to get checked up. You may not be as lucky as me. The problem is that if you wait too long and you have the symptoms, you have the pain in your chest or you have irregular heart rate then maybe too late.”
