Boston, Massachusetts native Mark Wahlberg is an entertainment icon with a passion for fitness. In a pair of Instagram posts, Wahlberg showed off some of his training, which included behind-the-neck presses. 
Wahlberg is a versatile actor and performer, who first made a name for himself as a rapper in the 1990s as the leader of the Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, the same group who went number one with “Good Vibrations” in 1991. In addition, he became a popular Calvin Klein model with many taking notice of his muscular physique. 
The 52-year-old has taken part in numerous blockbuster hits as an actor. He’s participated in The Transformers franchise and has worked with esteemed directors in film such as Martin Scorsese in The Departed. One film, in particular, required Wahlberg to gain a dramatic amount of weight. He played a boxer-turned-priest in Father Stu. Looking back, Wahlberg revealed that he had to eat an 11,000-calorie diet for rapid weight gain. 

After putting on the weight, Wahlberg faced a tough journey as he took part in a reverse body transformation. Wahlberg said the transformation took 14 weeks and eventually, his abs started showing again. The outcome, while shocking to many, showcased Wahlberg’s dedication and discipline to healthy living. 
And while he still operates under a tight schedule, Wahlberg never misses a training session. He’s become famous for his middle-of-the-night and 4 A.M. workout routines, where he takes great pride in starting his days earlier than most.

However, once his eight-hour feeding window begins, he eats as much as he wants. 
Terry has lots of protein, and he loves egg dishes. He indulges in scrambled eggs, egg frittatas, bacon, charcuterie meats, salami, and protein shakes. He focuses on a well-rounded diet, including lots of healthy fats and carbs, as well as ample amounts of veggies. He told Insider that IF has “kept me in great, great shape.” 
He goes on to say:
“I can feel the difference. I can put pictures of myself now versus myself at 22 years old, and I look and feel much better right now.”

Mark Wahlberg 
Wahlberg was never a big fan of intermittent fasting, that is, until he was introduced to it by his friend, media mogul Ari Emanuel, and he got hooked after the first few days of trying it. Mark currently goes for an 18-hour fast, and that too for five days a week. He told the WSJ that “the perfect window for me to break my fast is between noon and 6 PM. On a harder workout day, it might be a smaller window of 12 to 14 hours. But five days a week, I’m doing that 18-hour fast.”
Among other things, Mark is well known for his grinding and grueling early morning workouts, which may put many men to shame. However, after discovering intermittent fasting, he says that a slimmed-down gym routine suits him better and helps him manage the rest of his day much better. 
He says:
“I don’t have to do as much cardio, I don’t have to spend as much time in the gym, and I feel like I’m getting better results. I’m trying to share that information with everybody because I’m really, really seeing the benefits and pretty quickly.”

He says, “I’ve been doing a lot of intermittent fasting now – eating between 12 PM and 8 PM. I’ve found it has dramatically increased my energy levels. I’ve found that your body kicks into a different state once you get over the initial shock of not eating as regularly in the first week or two. I’ve found myself eating fewer calories but not feeling starved.”
Chris also did intermittent fasting to lose weight for his role as a sailor in the 2015 film, In the Heart of the Sea. His trainer Luke Zocchi said:

Mark Wahlberg Shows Off Shredded Abs Following Cinco De Mayo Workout

50-year-old Mark Wahlberg continues to look shredded and keep his abs in great shape.
When you think of shredded actors in Hollywood, there are many that come to mind immediately. Mark Wahlberg has to be near the top of that list and has been for years now. The 50-year-old actor continues to keep up with his fitness and recently showed off his abs following a Cinco de Mayo workout.
In a recent Instagram video, Wahlberg took in the holiday with an ab workout followed by a tequila shot. Wahlberg took a sip before taking a swing at a golf ball using his virtual golf screen.

Mark Wahlberg became extremely active on social media showing off his fitness routines during the pandemic. When gyms were shut down, Wahlberg was able to use his home facilities and share some at-home workouts for viewers to try. He shared many workouts where there was no equipment needed so the average fan was able to get a workout in.

Mark Wahlberg has been one of the chameleons in acting taking on many different roles over the years. He has taken on action in Lone Survivor and 2 Guns. Wahlberg has also made viewers laugh in films like Daddy’s Home and The Other Guys, not to mention the Ted movies.
In many roles, Wahlberg had to sculpt his physique to fit his character. While preparing for his role in Father Stu, Wahlberg admitted to putting on 30 pounds. He had to eat 7,000 calories a day in order to play a former boxer who took on a more fulfilling life as a priest. Following this role, Wahlberg was able to lose the weight and get back to his shredded ways.
From the 90s when Wahlberg was known as “Marky Mark” in Calvin Klein ads, he has been a fitness icon. Over 30 years later, he remains in the same light because of the work he has been able to put in on his abs.
Mark Wahlberg remains one of the biggest stars in Hollywood and that is not going to change. Off the big screen, Wahlberg has been able to share his fitness tips and wisdom with viewers.

Mark Wahlberg has kept himself in great shape over the years. He is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood and many of his roles require a ripped physique. Wahlberg has made plenty of physique transformations over the years and knows a thing or two about keeping his muscles in shape.
One way is to keep muscles loose by stretching or using a massage gun. Recently, Wahlberg took time to demonstrate a tool called the Power Plate Pulse. This is a new massage gun that allows users to target any area they want to work. Because of the look of the gun, Wahlberg’s co-star Tom Holland referred to it as a sex toy.

Wahlberg was seen in his home gym without a shirt to target the muscles directly. It uses vibration to hit the targeted areas and is a product that has a six-hour battery life along with six different heads.

Aaron Singerman’s Prison Sentence
It was announced over the past week that Aaron Singerman was finally sentenced after a long legal battle regarding his previously owned company Blackstone Labs. He ultimately plead guilty for conspiracy to sell anabolic steroids and other banned substances in his Blackstone Labs products – as well as promoting misinformation on said projects.

Craig Golias holds a pretty stern stance here. Do things the right way and you won’t have to worry about getting caught. Craig doesn’t understand why Aaron Singerman and Blackstone Labs felt the need to include banned substances in their products. Would it really lead to that many more sales?
How legitimate are famous bodybuilder coaching plans?
This week’s biggest topic covers the concept of bodybuilding training plans. Is it fair for a big name bodybuilder or coach to hire a team to help guide clients? If a training plan is promoted as directly from the mind of a famous coach or athlete? Is the client getting cheated if the person messaging them is actually a staff member and not the legend himself?
Craig Golias initially thinks that this is a cheat. That bodybuilders and coaches should always directly train their clients. Blanket training plans don’t account for the individual needs of a client. A major bodybuilding legend or guru should understand this. If they take a clients money only to have a staff member give a cookie cutter plan (perhaps overseen by the legend), it’s not the same thing as direct coaching.
That being said, Craig Golias warns that you get what you pay for. If you are paying lower towards $100 for coaching, you’ll probably get a bad training plan. There are no bargain coaches that are truly worth paying for. Invest in good coaching and you’ll get a good experience.
But what about famous bodybuilders who receive likely thousands of requests? How do they upscale to successfully train a larger clientele? Craig Golias considers this and starts to backtrack slightly. Perhaps there is a fair way to hire staff to help so long as the bodybuild or guru is also very hands on. But ultimately, if a person simply uses their name to sell a program made by others – it’s a scam.
