Nick Walker On Hadi Choopan: ‘He Has the Ability To Win The Olympia As Much As I Do’

Nick Walker On Hadi Choopan: ‘He Has the Ability To Win The Olympia As Much As I Do’

Nick Walker believes that Hadi Choopan flies under the radar a bit in bodybuilding.
Hadi Choopan has turned into one of the best bodybuilders in the world but is there a chance that he is still a bit underrated? Nick Walker recently spoke on Choopan during a recent Q&A and feels like he is not mentioned as much as he should be.
Choopan does not appear on stage much but his preparation is up there with the best in the world. Despite Visa issues in the past, he has competed at the Olympia in each of the last three years. Choopan began competing professionally in 2013 and earned a gold medal at the Amateur Olympia in 2018. After another victory during the 2019 Vancouver Pro, Choopan finished third at the Olympia that same year. The 2020 show saw Choopan finish fourth.

In 2021, Hadi Choopan was able to make it to Orlando and many thought he showed up with the best physique. Choopan finished third, behind Big Ramy and Brandon Curry, but this was a controversial victory. There were many around bodybuilding that believed Choopan was the best-conditioned competitor at the show.
This is where Nick Walker began his answers when discussing Choopan.
“I don’t think Hadi gets mentioned as much because he’s probably a little smaller but he has the ability to win the Olympia just as much as I do. His conditioning was second to none and backstage, he was the most impressive bodybuilder,” Walker explained.

Hadi Choopan edged out Hunter Labrada and Nick Walker, who finished fourth and fifth respectively at the Olympia. Walker is not the first competitor to say that Choopan showed up in the best shape.
Nick Walker also took some time to discuss Blessing Awodibu, who used to have a bit of a rivalry with Walker. This stemmed from previous competitions but they have seemed to settle any differences. The two have since began training together on multiple occasions and Walker believes Awodibu is going to be a dark-horse this year.
“I think Blessing is going to surprise us and I think he’s going to place really, really well.”
The 2022 Olympia is scheduled to take place in December and returning to Las Vegas. There are many competitors near the top that can win the show and this includes both Nick Walker and Hadi Choopan.

Nick Walker and Hunter Labrada Look Massive in Impressive Updates

Nick Walker and Hunter Labrada Look Massive in Impressive Updates

Nick Walker and Hunter Labrada are looking massive.
Nick Walker and Hunter Labrada recently revealed some impressive physique updates. The two rival bodybuilders are poised to be the next generation of talent in the Open Bodybuilding division and are pushing themselves to prove it.
The future of bodybuilding Nick Walker and Hunter Labrada are both hard at work adding muscle to their frames. Both men plan on bringing their best to the 2022 Olympia stage and look ready to do just that.
Next Generation Mass Monster
There’s no doubt about it, Nick Walker is the very epitome of mass monster. With a moniker like mutant muscle it’s always been clear what look Walker has aimed for. He has put on some considerable size during his off season, all while doing his best to maintain a slimmer waist.
With so many believing he didn’t get top honors at the 2021 Olympia because of his midsection, Nick Walker is hard at work making improvements. Walker has been putting up even heavier numbers than ever before and shows no sign of letting up.

His recent updates show that he’s extra motivated.

Post workout posing- front double and back double!!!
Very happy with the progress being made but still plenty of more To go!!!!!

Second Coming of Labrada
Hunter Labrada is certainly the second coming of his father. Lee Labrada was the epitome of classic posing in bodybuilding and he passed this on to his son. The younger Labrada has adapted the classic style with a more modern bodybuilding aesthetic. His massive muscle combined with the fluid movement of his posing sets him apart from many of his modern counterparts.
While Nick Walker may be the quintessential mass monster of this generation, Hunter Labrada is by no means a small fry. With a generous amount of muscle on his frame himself, Labrada will not be outsized when they next cross paths on stage.
His most recent update showcases some truly impressive muscle. Hunter Labrada says he’s weighing between 279-286 lbs depending on whether he’s fasted or not.

Titan is clearly unimpressed.
Couple shots from today after training push! Fasted weight is hovering between 279-280 and post training has been 285-286. This is the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life (by 8 pounds) and far from the fattest I’ve been.
Stoked to have roughly 5 more months of improvement season before we head into the ⭕️ prep.

What do you think of Nick Walker and Hunter Labrada in their recent updates?

Nick Walker Shares Back Workout Used During Offseason To Build Incredible Size

Nick Walker Shares Back Workout Used During Offseason To Build Incredible Size

Nick Walker continues his offseason prep for the Olympia with huge workouts including this one to build his back.
Nick Walker put together an incredibly successful rookie season and it now one of the top performers in bodybuilding. He decided early on to put all of his focus into the 2022 Olympia and he is doing just that. Walker recently shared a huge back workout that will build width and thickness.
Walker finished as the Arnold Classic champion last year before finishing fifth in his first Olympia in October. He is looking to build off this performance and it was the reason he did not defend his title in Columbus this year.

The Mutant has decided to make some changes this offseason. That includes increasing his number of rest days and training different body parts together. This session, he hit a massive back workout and ended with some hamstring work. Walker shared the workout on his YouTube page where viewers can watch and see what he has to say on the regimen.
Cable Pull-Downs
The workout began with cable pulldowns as a way to warm up the muscles in the back. He explained that this is a way to “get the lats fired up” before going into the rest of the workout. Walker hit cable pulldowns for five sets of 12-15 reps. He performed the reps slowly, which is a method he uses often to focus on technique and exhaust the muscles more and more.
Bent Over Reverse-Grip Barbell Rows

Nick Walker moved to the upper back next and bent over reverse-grip rows were on the list. He performed this exercise with a barbell and worked up to 315 pounds at the end. The barbell row is a favorite of many to build the upper back and Walker decided to hit it with a reverse grip. He performed a few reps before getting up to his final weight for 10 reps.
One-Arm Dumbbell Rows
One-arm dumbbell rows are a way to isolate each side of the back. Walker was ready right away here with no arm up needed. He performed two sets of 12-15 reps using the 150-pound dumbbell. This was a quick part of the workout before he moved onto the next item.
Drive-Piece Machine Rows
Nick Walker continued with more rows bu this was a bit more in-depth. He decided to mess around with the degree and extent of resistance during this exercise. Walker hit two sets to warm up before taking on his new method.
“I’m going to hit them with the 10-10-10… Pin it from where it makes harder to stretch. Then we’re going to do 10 when it’s harder to stretch in the shortened position. Then 10 when it is hard in the whole thing.”
Seated Free-Motion Cable Pull-Down
This exercise saw four sets. ick Walker began with his first working set then took on a rest-pause method. He performed 15 reps followed by 15 seconds of rest. Walker then did five more reps, rested 15 seconds, then finished with four reps. This machine had the pulleys wide, which allowed for a better range of motion.
Machine Rows
One set of machine rows ended the workout. Walker once again performed the rest-pause method. He began with 10 reps before resting 15 seconds then finished with some more reps.
Nick Walker decided to hit hamstrings before leaving the gym. He completed lying leg curls and belt squat RDL to target the back of the legs.

Nick Walker has an impressive v-taper.
Nick Walker reveals an impressive v-taper in a recent physique update on social media. The rising bodybuilding star looked strong as he maintained his waistline while building up the rest of his massive frame.
Nick Walker has been often criticized for his bulky and blocky physique. It was the reason so many gave for the talented bodybuilder taking fifth place at the 2021 Olympia. So many claim that the mass monster doesn’t possess the kind of silhouette that can make him an Olympia champion.
Well it appears that a recent physique update from the talented bodybuilder suggests the opposite is true.
Nick Walker has been hard at work trying to improve his physique since his showing at the 2021 Olympia. Hoping to still build muscle while keeping a slimmer waist, Walker appears to have pulled it off.

A recent post to his Instagram shows a much improved Nick Walker still in the midst of his off season. He looks massive yet is able to maintain a slim waistline. His front double bicep showcases the slimmed down waost as well as an impressive v-taper.

Just trying to grow and keep the waist intact

From what we can see here Nick Walker is doing a great job at building his frame while keeping his midsection under control. This must be quite the challenge. Considering that a bodybuilder needs to up their calories in order to build solid muscle, it can be easy to see their waistline expand in the midst of a bulk.
Despite that fact, Nick Walker is managing to keep a tight midsection and make good on his intentions to bulk while keeping his waist under control.
With this kind of improvement it’s clear that Walker will be a problem for anyone he goes up against in the near future.

Nick Walker Olympia Prep Continues With Huge Back Workout

Nick Walker Olympia Prep Continues With Huge Back Workout

Nick Walker shared a massive back workout recently as he prepares for the 2022 Olympia.
Nick Walker has had his sights set on the 2022 Olympia competition. The Mutant has continued his training and recently shared a massive back workout on social media for viewers to try.
Walker finished fifth at the 2021 Olympia after winning the Arnold Classic just two weeks prior. Following his finish, Walker decided to focus all of his energy and training power on the 2022 event. At this point in the offseason, Walker is beginning to focus on how his body feels and he explained the method in his latest YouTube video.

Nick Walker his a huge back workout during his latest trip to the gym. It began with three sets of one-arm cable pulldowns. Walker lowered the weight after the first set to make sure that there was the proper stretch at the bottom of the lift. He continued with smith machine barbell rows. This is an exercise that Walker prefers over free weights.
“I do like these over a free-weight barbell. I can track harder. I can feel my lats engage better. And again, that’s the point of bodybuilding. It’s not about weight. That comes with time. It’s about contracting the muscle and this is where you can do it the most.”
Nick Walker continued by putting his back through some different rows. It began on a row machine completing single-arm sets before going over to a different machine and super setting different grips. Before the workout ended, Walker made sure to hit some calves with machine raises.

During this workout, Walker focused on lower volume and bigger weight. He explained how his body felt a bit sore so he decided to take on a different approach during this workout.
“The body was feeling a little beat up so I wanted to do a little lower volume but I went heavier on the weight. It sounds contradictory but I don’t feel as beat up. I was able to go a little heavier, contract the muscle still, and do lower volume. I got what I needed to get out of it.”
“I don’t think you should always need to feel destroyed after a workout. It does not mean that you did not train hard.”
At this point in the offseason, Nick Walker is incorporating more off days to ensure his body is recovered properly. This included two days on, one day off training. Walker admitted he will take two days off at times if he needs some more rest. This is the point in the offseason where Walker feels it is important to keep his body as conditioned as possible.

The 2022 Olympia will return to Las Vegas from Dec. 15-18. With about nine months of prep remaining, Walker does not seem to be wasting any time or workouts.
“Stiff leg deadlifts 2 hard sets of 8-10 reps with 315.
Sure I could push more weight which im sure I will in time. But I want to make sure my hamstrings are getting all the work here without bringing my back into it.
Slow negatives on these and exploding up just destroy my hamstrings”

Nick Walker landed victories during the 2021 New York Pro followed by his Arnold Classic performance. Just two weeks after winning the Arnold Classic, Walker earned a top-five finish at the Olympia. This was a strong showing during his first appearance on the biggest stage in the sport. He vowed to put on a better show this time around.

Walker decided not to defend his title at this year’s Arnold Classic so he could put all of his focus on the Olympia. He has started training with Dom Supersliced this year and has taken on a new training regimen. At this time, Walker is weighing around 295 pounds, which he shares during his workout videos on YouTube.
There is no doubt that Walker has the drive to be named Mr. Olympia in his career. This is the reason he has bypassed each show this year and will continue to train at a high level. Now, it is all about putting the finishing touches on his physique and that is the plan moving forward.

Nick Walker Shows Insane Physique And Tapered Waist At 295 Pounds

Nick Walker Shows Insane Physique And Tapered Waist At 295 Pounds

Nick Walker is looking crazy so far this offseason.
Nick Walker turned in an extremely impressive rookie season that proved he is one of the future stars in bodybuilding. In fact, he might be there already and is looking to take the next step in 2022. The Mutant recently shared a physique update where he is looking massive with a tapered waist at 295 pounds.
Walker took to Instagram to share a recent physique update and his bodyweight at the time of the picture. After the 2021 Olympia, Walker made it clear that he knows the improvements that he wanted to make in the offseason and is working to hit them all.

“295 morning weight. Nothing crazy here……… YET.”

Nick Walker burst onto the scene winning the New York Pro last year. This earned him a qualification to the Olympia but he decided to take on the Arnold Classic as well. With the show moved to September because of the pandemic, Walker had time to prepare and took home the title in his first appearance. Two weeks later, he took on the Olympia and finished fifth.
While most competitors would be happy with a top-five finish at the biggest show of the year as a rookie, Walker considered this a loss and worked to improve. He did not appear at the Arnold Classic last week and has put all of his focus on the Olympia in December.

Nick Walker has started to train with Dom Supersliced. He made a recent switch from Matt Jansen, who was his coach during his successful rookie season. Having the right coach is something that can take an athlete or team to the next level. Bodybuilding is no exception. It is important for these competitors to be on a strict schedule and put themselves through the right routines to prepare.
Walker and his new coach recently trained chest and gave fans an insight on what workouts will be like. It is clear that Walker is interested in becoming one of the best in the world and showing it during the Olympia. There is still time to prepare for the competition at the end of the season. Nick Walker will make sure to put on a championship performance.

Nick Walker Trains Chest With New Coach Dom Supersliced

Nick Walker Trains Chest With New Coach Dom Supersliced

Nick Walker trains chest with new coach.
Nick Walker and his new coach Dom Supersliced recently underwent an intense chest training day. The two pushed their training hard in hopes of getting Walker to the next level.
Having the right coach can be the difference between success and failure in competitive sports. The right coach can put you on a proper schedule, enhance your performance and become the best version of yourself. The wrong coach can completely throw you off your game and have you suffering diminishing results.
Then there are coaches that have been great to an athlete, who’s been in their corner for a long time. But sometimes the athlete needs a different look to help them get to an even higher level. For Nick Walker it appears that the latter is true.
After having an impressive rookie year, Nick Walker has established himself as the potential future of the division. His victory at the 2021 Arnold Classic showcased just how dominant he can be in the Men’s Open division. Taking fifth place at the 2021 Olympia also showed how much potential Walker has for becoming a potential future bodybuilding king.

But while Nick Walker had tremendous success in his rookie year with his coach Matt Jansen, the 2021 Arnold Classic champion has decided to switch coaches. His new coach Dom Supersliced is hoping to take Walker to a whole new level. The two are wasting no time in getting to work and are pushing hard in the gym.
