Nick Walker Signs To Hostile Nutrition
Nick Walker has decided to join forces with Hostile Nutrition.
Nick Walker is quickly becoming one of the top bodybuilders in the sport. Recently, he decided to put his name next to a nutrition company that he believes in right now and for the future. Walker has announced that he is signed to Hostile Nutrition.
Walker took to Instagram to make the big announcement. He revealed his reasoning behind the decision and took the time to make a video involving some different aspects of his life in the gym.

Nick Walker absolutely burst onto the scene last year by winning the New York Pro and Arnold Classic. The Arnold Classic is the second biggest bodybuilding show of the year and many would consider the New York Pro to be the third, behind the Olympia of course. Walker then finished fifth in his first Olympia competition.
Despite the top-five finish, Walker was unhappy with his performance and vowed to be better. He will not defend his title at the 2022 Arnold Classic and will focus on building a championship physique for the Olympia, which will take place in December in Las Vegas.
Hostile Nutrition is a company founded by former bodybuilder Fouad Abiad. He enjoyed a 16-year bodybuilding career before announcing his retirement in December. Abiad revealed that he decided to step away from the stage because of the recent string of deaths that has hit the bodybuilding world. Despite retiring from competition, Abiad will continue to be a voice in the sport and will work to build Hostile Nutrition.

Matt Jansen is No Longer Working With Nick Walker
Matt Jansen and Nick Walker go their separate ways.
It appears that bodybuilding coach Matt Jansen has parted ways with the talented Nick Walker. The bodybuilding coach recently addressed the issue in a statement on his Instagram account.
It takes more than just an individuals will to get to the top of the bodybuilding world. While every individual who chooses to become a pro bodybuilder has to have their own resolve, it takes a team to bring their dream to fruition. A bodybuilder without a decent team behind them could find it difficult to get to the top. It can be done, but having a coach can really take a competitor to new heights. It’s what helped Nick Walker become a man to watch on the pro circuit.
There’s no doubt about it, Nick Walker had quite an impressive 2021. Not only was Walker able to secure his position at the 2021 Olympia, he was also able to win the Arnold Classic in the same year. In his first year on the Olympia stage Walker was able to crack the top five. It just goes to show that the up and comer is clearly a future top contender in the Men’s Open division.

Parting Ways

But now it appears that Matt Jansen and Nick Walker are no longer working together. Jansen broke the news on his Instagram story. The reveal was in response to a fan question.
It appears that Matt Jansen and Nick Walker have chosen to travel different paths. It will be interesting to see where Walker goes from here, but it’s a safe bet that he’s learned enough to carry him through to the next level.

Nick Walker Hits Massive Shoulders And Triceps Workout As Olympia Prep Continues
Nick Walker will continue to prepare for the 2022 Olympia in December.
For Nick Walker, the goal has always been clear. “The Mutant” has had his eyes on the Olympia prize since emerging as one of the top bodybuilders in the world. This offseason, Walker has been focusing on improvements in order to compete at the highest level during the biggest show of the year. Recently, Walker shared a huge shoulders and triceps workout that he has been doing.
Walker has been training at the RedCon1 gym in Boca Raton, FL. This was one of his first workouts at the gym. He recently joined Blessing Awodibu for a leg day at RedCon1 gym. This time, he took to his YouTube page to show off a massive workout that is meant tp provide the necessary gains.
Nick Walker burst onto the scene in 2021 by winning the New York Pro. This is one of the most prestigious competitions in bodybuilding. Walker earned qualification to the Olympia with this victory. He then took home the Arnold Classic title before stepping on the Olympia stage just two weeks later.
During the 2021 Olympia, Nick Walker finished in fifth place. This was not a finish that he was happy with and that is why he is focusing on the 2022 show for the duration of the year. Walker will not defend his Arnold Classic title despite the show being moved back to its original month of March.
Walker began this workout with Atlantas side lateral raises before moving onto standing shoulder presses. The bodybuilder made it a point to hit some new machines in order to keep his body guessing. He found some new techniques that he likes and will implement into his routine. The shoulder workout continued with reverse pec deck and dumbbell shoulder presses before moving onto triceps.
Nick Walker hit triceps with a tricep overhead extension and single arm cable radicals. He ended with a standard lat pulldown. Walker revealed his current weight at the time of the workout and how he is still gaining to bulk up. This has been done with huge workouts and a steady diet day-to-day.
“The weight is steadily going up. I’m about 295, 294 in the morning. The weight is going up, going up slowly, which is good for me. Diet hasn’t really budged much, weights just kind of doing its thing.”
There is no doubt that Nick Walker is going to continue to be a force this year and it is because of his dedication in and out of the gym. With a full year of preparation, it will be exciting to see the improvements made and how Walker looks come the Olympia.

Nick Walker and Quinton Eriya recently joined forces with Quinton Eriya for an epic back training. Both Walker and Eriya could very well be the future of bodybuilding.
The old adage iron sharpens iron has held true forever for a reason. As an athlete it’s necessary to have the best training possible. At the highest levels that means teaming with training partners that are on a similar trajectory. An athlete must be pushed in order to unlock their full potential. Nick Walker Explains Why He Will Not Defend Title During 2022 Arnold Classic
Nick Walker will sit out during the Arnold Classic this year to prepare for the Olympia.
The lineup for the 2022 Arnold Classic was announced in December. There were some big names on the list but also one glaring absence — 2021 champion Nick Walker.
‘The Mutant’ put together an incredible season in 2021. He won the New York Pro, which earned qualification to the Olympia, and added a title at the Arnold Classic. In 2022, Walker revealed he will skip the second-biggest bodybuilding show of the year to prepare for the ultimate weekend. Walker took to Instagram to share his insights.
“Everyone keeps asking “why aren’t you doing the Arnold?”
I remember when I did the Chicago pro 6 weeks after I just turned pro. I took 4 place, 3 top guys in the sport beat me. Was I mad I didn’t win? I mean I think that should be anyones initial reaction when the goal is always to win. But I also knew I just got 4th behind some of the best.
I remember the next morning I looked myself in the mirror and I said “they will never beat me again.”
After earning his Pro Card in 2020, Nick Walker began competing at the 2020 Chicago Pro. He finished fourth in the event and wanted to make sure that he did not lose to the top three again — Maxx Charles, Justin Rodriguez, and Akim Williams. Walker mentions that he was not defeated by those competitors in 2021.
Remember, this is the same athlete that was not happy with his fifth-place finish at the Olympia. Most would be pleased with this finish in their first appearance at the Olympia but Walker considered it a loss and nothing more.
“Fast forward some, I won New York, I won the Arnold, I got 5th place at my first olympia. Those guys have not beaten me again.
With the guys that beat me at the olympia, it just doesn’t make sense to continue to compete without making the improvements needed to beat those guys at the olympia. I need the off-season to make big improvements for the olympia 2022.
Speak it into existence- olympia 2022, im coming for it all.”
This year, Nick Walker has his eyes on the bigger picture rather than defending his title. It is clear that his goal is to be named Mr. Olympia after a top-five finish. Walker references the four competitors that beat him in October. They are Big Ramy, Brandon Curry, Hadi Choopan, and Hunter Labrada. With the four likely holding out for the Olympia, Walker does not feel the need to step on stage beforehand.
The 2022 Olympia will return to Las Vegas from Dec. 15-18. Despite the Arnold Classic taking place in March, Nick Walker will not compete. Instead, all of his eggs will be put into winning gold during the Olympia at the end of the year.
