Ronnie Coleman Watches And Reacts To Funny Gym Fails
Ronnie Coleman recently took some time to check out some crazy/funny gym fails.
If there is one person who knows his way around the gym, it is Ronnie Coleman. The eight-time Olympia champion is considered one of the best bodybuilders of all-time and is still a huge voice in the sport. Coleman has provided some entertaining and informative content on his YouTube channel over time. Recently, he took the entertainment route.
Coleman took some time to watch some hilarious gym fails by gym-goers who look like they forgot they were in public. As you can imagine, an elite lifter like Coleman has plenty to say and there was one phrase that used used quite often:
“What the hell is going on here?”
Some of the videos show lifters performing the exercise in a strange way and some include people doing unorthodox activities. For example, one woman is seen knitting on the leg extension machine. Coleman points out that it looks like she is doing more knitting than working out. There is another gym-goer dressed like Michael Jackson perfecting their moon walk.
“Aw dawn, what the hell? Michael Jackson? That’s a fake ass Michael Jackson right there,” Coleman said.
These are different videos that have made their way around the internet and in the view of Coleman. He has remained in tremendous shape himself in retirement. Coleman has struggled with some health issues and surgeries but continues to work hard in the gym and stay in shape. Coleman has gone through 13 surgeries on different areas of his body. He has worked hard to recover and get back in the gym doing what he loves.
This is why Ronnie Coleman has started to provide wisdom on YouTube. He put together one of the all-time great careers in bodybuilding and he feels like he has plenty to offer. There are different segments where he comments on certain aspects of the sport and even takes questions from fans. Here, Coleman decided to take on more of a light-hearted segment and comment on some funny videos.
Adding humor into content is something that is necessary across any business or angle. That is exactly what Coleman did here and viewers took to it right away. It will be interesting to see if this is worked into the rotation a bit more.

Arnold Classic Moments: How The Arnold Classic Stopped Ronnie Coleman From Quitting Bodybuilding
[embedded content]
ARNOLD CLASSIC MOMENTS – is a special video series looking back at the history of one of the biggest bodybuilding competitions in the world. Legendary bodybuilders tell their personal moments in the Arnold Classic and share the oral history of what makes this specific competition rise above the rest – making a lasting impression for years to come. Each new moment airs every Thursday.
Ronnie Coleman is one of the most legendary bodybuilders of all time. He is known as setting the impossible new standard for what a mass monster should look like and won eight Mr. Olympia titles over his entire career (a world record tied only with Lee Haney). But Ronnie Coleman wasn’t born a Mr. Olympia champion – he struggled and learned how to improve – landing low placings until he unlocked his true potential.
Part of these struggles involved a moment where he thought he would stop competing. The Arnold Classic changed all of that and led him on a path to the champion we know and love today.
In this installment of Arnold Classic Moments, Ronnie Coleman himself recounts a serious injury right before the Mr. Olympia… and the recovery that lasted months right up to the Arnold Classic. Landing low at competitions in between, such as the Iron Man competition, Ronnie believed that it was time for him to give up bodybuilding. Then he stepped onto the Arnold Classic stage and everything changed. Hear the full story from the man himself in the video above.
Milos Sarcev Lists The Most Shocking Pro Bodybuilding Physique Transformations Ever
[embedded content]
Milos Sarcev talks about the most shocking physique transformations he has ever seen by a pro bodybuilder.
There are moments throughout the history of bodybuilding physiques that stand the test of time. Moments that fundamentally changed the future of the sport – perhaps known in the moment or understood later in retrospect. Dorian Yates‘ mass monster physique first appearing on stage is a great example. It shocked audiences and judges. It change the direction of physiques for the rest of the industry. In our latest GI Exclusive interview, Milos Sarcev recounts the most shocking pro bodybuilder physique transformations he had ever seen.
Milos Sarcev has been deeply involved in bodybuilding for majority of his life. He was a powerful competitor during his prime years. He claims to have brought insulin into the sport (for better or worse). And after retiring from the stage, he put his efforts into being a coach and trainer for future generations. So it would stand to reason that his insights into the past, present, and future of the sport are valuable in light of his successes.
That’s why we asked a series of questions to Milos Sarcev during our latest interview – ranging from the hardest working bodybuilders today to the most genetically gifted. We also asked him, in his opinion, what was the most shocking physique transformation he had ever seen in pro bodybuilding.
Milos Sarcev brings up two key figures. First, he discusses Flex Wheeler going from 208 pounds to 245 pounds. While this might not seem on its face a drastic change – Wheeler’s 208 physique was “skinny fat” as Sarcev would call it. More importantly, this transformation happened in the matter of only three weeks.
For Flex Wheeler to transform from out of shape “skinny fat” into a titan of muscle and conditioning in just three weeks is astounding. Of course, it’s also not fully surprising for Wheeler. He has been known to be a truly genetically gifted athlete. Perhaps one of the most genetically gifted to ever step on stage. Milos Sarcev admits as much earlier during this interview segment.
Milos Sarcev also points out Ronnie Coleman‘s transformation between 2002 and 2003. Ronnie was Olympia champion in both 2002 and 2003 – and yet the change in his physique is known by fans far and wide. It’s the moment that Ronnie left planet earth and solidified himself as a true unmatched legend in the sport.
Proof of this can be seen in what happened between these two years. After Ronnie Coleman won the 2002 Mr. Olympia, he later competed and lost to Gunter Schlierkamp. A surprising turn of events for a current Olympia champion. Something like that would never happen again for The King. By the time he reappeared at the 2003 Mr. Olympia – there was no doubt that he would remain unstoppable.
You can watch Milos Sarcev go into more detail about both Flex Wheeler’s and Ronnie Coleman’s shocking pro bodybuilding transformations in our latest GI Exclusive interview segment above. He also discusses the hardest working bodybuilders currently competing and the most genetically gifted bodybuilders of all time.
Ronnie Coleman On How Often He Has Sex: ‘Every Single Day If I Can”
Ronnie Coleman received an interesting question on his sex life during fan requests.
Ronnie Coleman remains a massive voice in bodybuilding after his retirement. This includes allowing fans to send in questions for him to answer on his YouTube page. This has become a ritual for the bodybuilder because of the response he has gotten. In a recent video, Coleman revealed that he has stayed active, in many ways, to this day.
While many questions are based around weightlifting and gym performance, there are fans that want to hear about the personal life of the eight-time Olympia champion. During this Q&A session, Coleman was asked how many times a week he has sex. The answer was quite simple.
“As many times as possible,” Ronnie Coleman answered.
The bodybuilder kept the answer short and sweet. With some laughter in the background, Coleman continued to say that he tries to have sex once a day if possible. Despite some beliefs, sex does not have any negative impacts on weightlifting ability.
There are some beliefs and rumors that testosterone levels can be impacted by sexual activity. This is not in a negative way. In fact, testosterone levels are one of the primary factors of muscle growth a development. Coleman was a monster in the gym and continues to hit it hard during his days off the stage.
Ronnie Coleman did answer some weightlifting questions and this includes his favorite exercises.
“This is the easiest question ever and I am asked this one a lot. I always say, all of them are my favorite exercise.”
Coleman listed squats, curls, cable crossovers, and deadlifts but made it clear that he likes all of them. He also addressed a question on light weight and he brought up a saying of his, “it’s all lightweight, baby.” This is the content that fans go to Coleman’s YouTube page for.
Ronnie Coleman is tied with Lee Haney for the most Olympia titles of all-time with eight. During his career, he was unbeatable and at the peak of the sport. In retirement, Coleman remains an influential figure and voice. This includes being given the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2021 Arnold Classic.
The 2022 season will likely feature Coleman in some aspect. It will be interesting to see the content that comes out over the season.

Talking Huge With Craig Golias: Will Ronnie Coleman Ever Stop Training?
[embedded content]
Craig Golias reacts to Ronnie Coleman’s latest training video and muses over whether or not he will ever stop training in his life.
Welcome to another episode of Talking Huge – a weekly digital series in which Craig Golias talks in-depth with Vlad Yudin on the latest trending topics in bodybuilding. Raw, honest, and uncut – Craig Golias shares his opinions on all things bodybuilding. In this episode, Craig Golias reacts to the recent deaths in bodybuilding, Big Ramy vs Larry Wheels armwrestling, and Ronnie Coleman’s latest training video update.
Unfortunately, there were reports of three bodybuilding deaths since the last time we recorded Talking Huge. So we start off this episode on a somber note to reflect on those we lost and to get Craig Golias’ reaction. After that we jump into more viral topics such as Big Ramy’s recent arm wrestling match against Larry Wheels. Was it legit or just a staged video for fun? We also talk about Blessing Awodibu working with George Farah. And we cover the recent viral video of Ronnie Coleman training. It’s a jam packed episode so let’s jump right into it.
Blessing Awodibu teams up with George Farah
George Farah is considered by most to be a legendary guru and coach in the sport – including Craig Golias. He has had his hands behind many champion bodybuilders. In his more recent years, he also updated his coaching style to focus more on longevity and health. His argument is that he can still help build massive bodybuilding champions without taking some of the more modern risks that we see in today’s bodybuilders.
Blessing Awodibu is a bodybuilder who has a lot of hype and potential behind him – but ultimately fell a bit short when he finally appeared at the New York Pro 2021. He’s now taking a short break to focus on building up better and coming back to the stage with a vengeance. It seems that George Farah is a part of that plan.
Craig Golias sees this as nothing but a very good thing for the rising star. Blessing Awodibu can see some major improvements with the help of a legend like George Farah. It will be interesting to see how he stacks up the next time he competes.
Ronnie Coleman’s latest training video – will he ever stop?
Ronnie Coleman made waves this past week by posting a new training video showcasing some seemingly increased gains. This is, in some ways, surprising due to not only his age but also the many injuries and issues he suffers in his back and hips. Which begs the question – will a legend like Ronnie ever stop training?
Craig Golias reacts to this idea. Can someone as in love with lifting ever hang up the towel for good? Will we ever see legends such as Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman or Dorian Yates stop training completely? Craig believes that it’s too deep in their DNA to ever fully stop. Of course many of these athletes have trimmed down – but they don’t pull away from the gym completely.
Craig Golias himself can’t imagine ever fully stopping. Having dealt with his recent injury over the past year or so – he’s had to pull back. But he can’t imagine ever pumping the breaks completely.
Wrap Up
You can check out the full conversation in the latest episode of Talking Huge above. Watch Craig go into full detail about additional topics such as Big Ramy vs Larry Wheels and the recent deaths in bodybuilding this past week plus more! Ronnie Coleman Shares Workout Video Showing Massive Arms
Ronnie Coleman is continuing to look massive in the gym during workout sessions.
Ronnie Coleman is one of the best bodybuilders of all-time and continues to be an influential voice in the sport. Even during his years off the stage, Coleman has made sure to keep his physique in great shape. He recently showed it off with a workout video where he is pumping up his arms and looking massive.
Coleman shared the video on Instagram where he is seen performing bicep curls. He is now 15 years removed from his final Olympia competition but that has not stopped his progression in the gym at 57 years old.
“yeah Buddy, we got those Lightweight Baby t-shirts in Blurry. Sometimes your vision is blurred when lifting those Lightweights Baby!!!! Go to ronniecoleman.net to get yours.”
Ronnie Coleman completed upwards of 20 reps with each arm. He is currently training six days a week and completes stem-cell treatments. Thanks to his recent work in the gym, Coleman has been able to bulk up to 285 pounds. This is an incredible feat after some health risks that have kept Coleman out of training.
Since 2017, Coleman has went through 13 surgeries. There are still some effects from those surgeries but Coleman has been able to get himself the necessary treatment to continue his good health. This is no surprise given his passion for fitness and drive in the gym.
Ronnie Coleman sported a physique during his prime that is almost unbeatable. He won eight consecutive Olympia titles from 1998-2005. These are included in his 26 total victories as an IFBB professional. In 2006, Jay Cutler defeated Coleman and put an end to his streak. His final Olympia came in 2007, where he placed fourth. Even after retiring from competition, Coleman continues to make an impact.
During the 2021 Arnold Classic, Coleman was given the Lifetime Achievement Award from the event. He gave a speech that will not soon be forgotten. He recently had a chance to reflect on that moment and describes it as extremely difficult and emotional. Coleman was the right choice for the award last year because of all he has gone through and his perseverance to improve his health.
This recent workout video shows that Ronnie Coleman continues to be a freak of nature. Despite multiple surgeries, the legendary bodybuilder has figured out was to keep his body in tremendous shape.

Ronnie Coleman Reflects On Emotional Speech During 2021 Arnold Classic
Ronnie Coleman reflected on his speech after receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2021 Arnold Classic.
Ronnie Coleman is no stranger to the bodybuilding stage. Coleman won eight consecutive Olympia titles from 1998-2005 and is one of the best competitors in the history of the sport. During the 2021 Arnold Classic, Coleman took the stage for a different reason and was given an incredible award.
Coleman received the Arnold Classic Lifetime Achievement Award during the event in September. This is when he was able to get in front of a microphone and delivered an incredible speech that will be remembered forever. On a recent episode of Nothing But A Podcast, Coleman explained the difficulties of giving this emotional speech.
“It was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my whole life.”
“When I was practicing in my head, it went through smoothly. And then I got up there in front of all those people, then I started thinking about it I think that’s what really got to me, I really started thinking about it. It just hit me like a ton of bricks. I’m like, man! I’m not gonna be able to say this.”
Ronnie Coleman has won plenty of competitions in his career and is tied with Lee Haney for the most Olympia victories in history. Coleman added a victory at the Arnold Classic back in 2001. He discussed his emotions receiving this award from Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is known as the greatest bodybuilder of all-time.
“I haven’t won a lot of wars, you know. I have had a few here and there but lifetime achievement and then being presented by Arnold also, somebody you look up to, idolize in a was, it was a quite blood reaching experience.”
Coleman stepped on stage and let his emotions and feelings takeover. This is one aspect that makes the speech memorable. During this recent episode, Coleman joked about how he wished he have read off a card.
It is difficult to plan a speech ahead of time. Rehearsing a speech is a preparation tool but it never seems to workout how you expect it too once you get up there to speak. Also, Coleman explained how he felt knowing his mother was unable to be there to see him accept this award.
“When you rehearse something, you rehearse it so it’s easy. You’re just by yourself and you’re not thinking about it because you’re rehearsing it, you know. But once you get up there and all those people in front of you and then you get caught up in the moment.”
“The fact that my mom wasn’t there to see it and she always made the big events that I was involved in… that made it even more gut-wrenching. So it was quite an experience… I’ll say it was a very overwhelming experience.”
Ronnie Coleman is a name that remains influential in the sport of bodybuilding. He is an inspiration and has been since he began his career. This was the reason he was given the award. It was a very deserving honor and one that Coleman and those watching will never forget.

Inspired By Ronnie Coleman, Hafthor Bjornsson Hints at Competing in Bodybuilding
Hafthor Bjornsson hints at competing in bodybuilding after boxing journey.
Hafthor Bjornsson reveals that he’s been flirting with the idea of competing in bodybuilding. The 2018 World’s Strongest Man champion mentioned as much in a recent Instagram post. Apparently the potential move is because of the great Ronnie Coleman.
Challenging ourselves is what makes life worth living. While many become content with the easy road, challenging oneself is far more fulfilling. To challenge yourself, fail, grow, and improve is such a gratifying feeling. For an athlete the challenge of overcoming a major hurdle whether it be breaking powerlifting records or doing battle against another trained competitor, challenges are there for us to surmount. Hafthor Bjornsson has always been of this mindset.
After conquering the strongman world with his 2018 World’s Strongest Man victory, Hafthor Bjornsson moved on to challenging himself in a different way. Back in 2020 Bjornsson attempted to crush the deadlift world record. He tried and he succeeded. Since then he’s put strength sports in the rearview to focus on a very different endeavor.
After breaking the deadlift world record Hafthor Bjornsson has set out to become a pro boxer. In fact he hoped to do battle with his chief rival Eddie Hall back in fall of 2021. He was unable to face Hall however and instead locked horns with champion arm wrestler Devon Larratt. Bjornsson easily won the contest, but is still gunning for a fight with against Hall in the future.
But though he still has unfinished business in the boxing realm, Hafthor Bjornsson is already looking forward to his next challenge. Apparently it seems like Bjornsson is ready to try his hand at another sporting endeavor.
A New Challenge
Inspired by bodybuilding legend and eight-time Olympia champion Ronnie Coleman, Hafthor Bjornsson appears to be flirting with the idea of competing in bodybuilding. The strongman and boxing enthusiast hinted at making a potential move to bodybuilding after completing his endeavors in boxing.
Should I try out bodybuilding after my boxing journey? Right now I’m reading @ronniecoleman8 book and I’m hooked. Love his story.
Ripped Physique
No one would ever mistake a strongman for a chiseled bodybuilder. But since embarking on his boxing journey Hafthor Bjornsson has become lean and shredded. Much of the fat on his physique has been stripped away and what remains is ripped and heavily muscled frame.
If Hafthor Bjornsson makes the leap to bodybuilding how do you think he would fair?

Ronnie Coleman Discusses Recent Weight Gain Up To 285 Pounds
Ronnie Coleman has added 30 pounds of mass recently.
Ronnie Coleman is one of the best bodybuilders of all time and remains an influential voice in the sport. The eight-time Olympia champion still holds the record for most victories, along with Lee Haney, and this is one that might stay for a long time. Coleman remains active in the gym to this day despite suffering some injuries over the years.
Coleman has underwent many surgeries for different injuries in his career. This has changed as of late. Coleman has been enduring less surgeries and receiving stem cell treatments. In a recent YouTube video, Coleman credits these treatments for his recent weight gain. The legendary bodybuilder has been able to put on 30 pounds of mass recently.
“I got a lot more energy than I used to have. I have put on about 30 pounds. I went from like 255 pounds to 285 pounds, somewhere in there. I had to weigh myself about ten times to be sure,” Coleman explained.
Ronnie Coleman credits stem cell treatments for his weight gain but he has also been back in the gym in a big way. Coleman is working out six days a week and this is clearly a factor in his growth. At the same time, treatments have helped his recovery and less surgeries means that Coleman does not have to work his way back to normal.
“You know, I’ve had 13 surgeries the last five years and I was going and I had three in one year. so I was always in the hospital for awhile. I had back-to-back surgeries all the way up to 2020. That was the last time I had one.”
Coleman continued to explain that his diet has not changed overtime. This is a huge factor for bodybuilders when training and preparing for competition. Coleman is not competing anymore but remains active in the gym. This is the reason for his growth and progression in the gym, not his diet.
“I’ve always eaten the same thing. It’s not the diet.”
“me being able to workout consistently, you know, for almost two years straight…also that the stem cell had to do a lot because i used to be in a lot of pain all the time. now it’s like, you know, it’s a pain that i can take.”
Ronnie Coleman seems to be in tremendous shape since he has been able to get back to a consistent training regiment with no surgery holding him back. Coleman seems to be overcoming his injuries and strength is coming back. Weakness became a problem for Coleman in his life but doctors said that it could take two years for his nerves to improve. This is what happened and Coleman is back to crushing the gym each day.

Mohamed El Emam: Ronnie Coleman’s Best Package Would Easily Win Olympia Today
[embedded content]
Mohamed El Emam believes no bodybuilder currently competing would be able to beat Ronnie Coleman at his best.
Whenever we have a chance to interview a pro bodybuilder for our GI Exclusives, we always ask them for their picks of the best bodybuilders of all time. Each person’s list can reveal some insight into their own goals and careers. At the same time, there is also often a commonality between each list. Certain competitors so impressive that they can’t be ignored. Ronnie Coleman is one of those athletes. For Mohamed El Emam, Ronnie is the absolute best of all time. He goes a step further by claiming that no modern bodybuilder today could defeat Ronnie in his prime. In our latest GI Exclusive, Mohamed El Emam claims Ronnie Coleman would easily win the Mr. Olympia today – including against current champ Big Ramy.
It’s no secret that Ronnie Coleman has the reputation as one of the sport’s best bodybuilders. That’s for good reason. Ronnie solidified the mass monster era and displayed a package so massive and so conditioned – that it seemed almost inhuman. To this day, few have been able to match that kind of shocking physique. It’s for this reason that Mohamed El Emam believes Ronnie is the single greatest bodybuilder of all time.
In fact, Mohamed El Emam believes that Ronnie Coleman’s physique is so impressive – that he would easily win the Mr. Olympia today if he were magically in his prime. That’s an example of how legendary Ronnie’s physique has become in bodybuilding. Some believe he has yet to be matched.
Big Ramy, our current and now two time Mr. Olympia champion, has often been compared to Ronnie Coleman. They both bring mass monster size (even compared to an entire division now packed with mass monsters). Both Ronnie and Big Ramy are unnaturally huge compared to the competition. In recent years, Ramy has also gotten his conditioning under control to look even closer to Ronnie’s impressive package during his prime years.
That being said, Mohamed El Emam cannot but Big Ramy on his list of best bodybuilders just yet. It’s only been a short while that Ramy has been champion – and it remains to be seen if he could maintain the conditioning needed to reign in the long term. El Emam believes that in five more years we can look back and more accurately evaluate Big Ramy.
Even still, Mohamed El Emam is very clear in his statement that Ronnie Coleman could “easily win the Mr. Olympia today.” That includes Big Ramy. So despite Ramy often being compared to Ronnie – El Emam still doesn’t quite put Ramy in the same category. In a way, that’s a major factor that’s been missing from the sport the past few years – a new mind blowing step forward in the form of a competitor.
In some ways, this makes for more exciting competitions. We’ve had more Mr. Olympia champions in the past four years than usual. Big Ramy just earned his repeat victory but before that each year brought us new champions including Shawn Rhoden, Brandon Curry, and most recently Big Ramy. There’s been no knockout champion. Even Ramy’s 2021 physique was a slight notch down from 2020. There were those who thought Brandon Curry would rise for revenge and reclaim his title. That didn’t happen – but the fact that it was close showcases how there is no “Ronnie Coleman level” monsters on the stage currently.
You can watch Mohamed El Emam break down his adoration for Ronnie Coleman in more detail (plus his other top bodybuilder picks) in our latest GI Exclusive interview segment above!
