The Rock and his coach share some great methods to build incredible biceps.

Always looking to make improvements on his physique, The Rock made a statement with this recent workout. He admits to being obsessed with becoming stronger and maintaining his hard-won musculature.
It takes obsession and the right game plan to get in the kind of shape The Rock is in. While there are definitely other factors to include, it’s the man’s obsession with self-improvement that has pushed him to the heights he has reached. That’s not only as an actor but as an entrepreneur and a physical powerhouse as well.
Recently The Rock shared a clip of his bicep training at his Iron Paradise. In the clip shared on Instagram The Rock shares a similar message to that of famed powerlifter the all-time great CT Fletcher. You can clearly see who motivates the actor when he hits the iron.

Martyn Ford Gets Blunt On The Rock & Steroids: “If He’s Natural, He’s F****** Gifted”
Images via Instagram @therock and @martynfordofficial
Martyn Ford weighs in on if he believes The Rock uses steroids to achieve his physique.
Fitness entrepreneur Martyn Ford gave his opinion on whether or not Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is utilizing steroids. Ford discussed his opinion during a recent interview in which he tackled the subject of performance enhancing drugs.
Steroids can be a really touchy subject to tackle. So many individuals want the masses to believe that they were able to attain their physiques without the aid of outside forces. Many believe that if they admit that they’ve been utilizing performance enhancing drugs that it will put an asterisk next to their name. The idea that people would accuse them of being cheats or unnatural is too much for some to bear.
Others are completely unconcerned in regards to answering the steroid question. They won’t hesitate to admit that they’ve done it, but that it still required work for them to get to the level that they have reached. It can truly be an interesting conundrum to be sure.
Popular bodybuilding and fitness influencer and entrepreneur Martyn Ford gave some of his thoughts on the usage of steroids. Ford believes that most individuals, particularly those in the fitness industry, need to use PEDs in order to achieve the otherworldly look so many covet.
“I don’t care what people say. There’s two to three percent of genetically gifted people and then the rest will always be chasing that look. There’s no way you can look like a fitness influencer without drugs. I can look at 100 athletes and 99% I can tell you how many are and how many aren’t on drugs.”
The Rock Natty or Not?
During the interview, Martyn Ford was broached with another interesting query. When asked if he believed The Rock was utilizing steroids, Ford was reluctant to answer yes or no to the question. Ultimately Ford gave a neutral answer in regards to the question.
“I don’t know. You don’t need to answer the question. He’s one of the most famous actors in Hollywood. I love him to pieces. I think he’s a great guy. I think he’s a brilliant guy and he trains ridiculously hard and he’s worked every second for his physique. I mean, if he’s natural, he’s fuc**ng gifted. But I wouldn’t say anything about him by doing it or not doing it.”
Sure, any would say this was playing it safe. In reality, Martyn Ford isn’t privy to such information. Unless The Rock told Ford himself or was able to attain some kind of blood test, there’s really no way for him or anyone else to know.

The Rock Showcases Incredible Strength With Weighted Dip Workout
The Rock looks in impressive condition while performing weighted dips.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently performed an epic arm day in the gym including some impressive weighted dips. The popular star thrashed his triceps as performed the movement with impeccable technique.
The ability to achieve greatness, to make progress and become your best self, isn’t something that can be done overnight. It takes countless hours, countless days, a supreme amount of dedication, and the willingness to fall down on your face and get back up every time. It can be as simple as achieving small victories consistently over time that can see help person become their best selves. This is what we see out of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Before he was the popular actor and entrepreneur that he is today, The Rock start out with his own unique struggles. Before he became a WWE wrestling superstar, The Rock was on track to becoming an NFL football player. But like so many plans of bright eyed young folk, it wasn’t meant to be. But his failure to become an NFL star led him to becoming the man that he is today. Who is that exactly? It’s a man who consistently looks to improve himself day after day. This speaks to the rock as both an entertainer and as an athlete.
Epic Triceps Training
A recent training video of The Rock showcases the talented actor and entrepreneur performing weighted dips. It is certainly a difficult exercise to perform, but like most other things, the rock tackles it with a certain level of intensity mixed with humility.
Saturday night.Burnin’ the midnight oil.The chip on this shoulder never goes away.
The Rock is just a man. A well-built, athletic, multifaceted and talented man, but a man nonetheless. Yet he is able to perform these difficult tasks and make them look easy. It’s not that the tasks themselves are easy, but that The Rock is able to consistently push himself to get into the gym and do the things that many others won’t. It’s that consistency that has allowed him to become one of the most popular figures in the world today and a world class athlete even into his 40s.
This was another of many feats that the rock has been able to accomplish over the course of his career as an athlete. Perhaps what makes these training sessions so Epic is the fact that the rock isn’t shy about pushing himself in a way many actors wouldn’t. With all that money, fame, and success it would be easy for him to get lazy, complacent, and rest on his laurels. Instead, The Rock continues to push himself and you can’t help but be motivated by that.

XFL Co-Owners The Rock And Dany Garcia Agree To Five-Year Deal With ESPN, Disney
ESPN and Disney will have the broadcasting rights to the XFL from 2023-2027.
It has been almost two years since Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson partnered with Dany Garcia and RedBird Capotal to purchase the XFL. Now, the group has reached an incredible mark less than one year before the league is set to take off. The XFL has reached a multi-year agreement with ESPN and The Walt Disney Company that will give the network broadcasting rights for gameday content.
The XFL is set to kickoff on Feb. 18, 2023. There will be 40 games in total during the regular season followed by two postseason games and a championship. Games will now premiere on ESPN, ABC, and FX. This is a five-year agreement that will give ESPN and Disney these rights from 2023 through the 2027 season.
“This is a definitive moment for the XFL and the beginning of an incredible, long-term partnership for the league, building on my longstanding, very successful legacy relationship I’ve had with Disney throughout my career. We’re excited to be working with global visionaries that are aligned with the XFL’s values, are true team players and share our ambitious goals to grow the XFL as a global sports and entertainment business. History of the XFL
The Rock is the second WWE figure to take on the challenge of the XFL. Of course, Vince McMahon formed a partnership with Dick Ebersol and NBC in 2001 to acquire the league. It ended up folding after just one season.
McMahon attempted to bring the league back for the 2020 season but this lasted just five weeks after the COVID-19 pandemic forced to shut it down prematurely. There was some internal hope that the league could return once again in 2021 and keep its full-time employees on payroll. During this time, the pandemic continued to impact the economy and sports as a whole so it was forced to cancel once again.
The Rock and Garcia purchased the league for $15 million hours before the league was set to be auctioned off. The XFL filed for bankruptcy in April 2020. This transaction was closed in August of the same year after being sent to bankruptcy court approval.
Now, as the league prepares for yet another revival, the owners have struck a deal that will impact it for the next five years.
“Without question, we have long admired Disney’s distinct ability to engage an expansive consumer fanbase across verticals, while also maintaining a deeply authentic, nuanced and heartfelt approach to storytelling much like our own. To find a partner that honors our foundation and to be able to root our vision of unwavering passion, accessibility and the future of football with Disney as our home, is a dream come true. We are extraordinarily excited to explore the endless possibilities of this partnership – today is surely just the beginning,” Dany Garcia said.

Joe Rogan Jokes That Will Smith Hit Chris Rock Because “It Wasn’t The Rock”
Joe Rogan makes light of the situation at the Oscars.
Joe Rogan built one of the top podcasts in the world by speaking on different topics, being open and honest, and finding times to make light of certain situations. Recently, Rogan joked about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock in the face at the Oscars. He believes that he would have not pulled that stunt if it was another person up there.
“You know why he hit Chris Rock because it wasn’t The Rock,” Rogan said.
On the night Smith won Best Actor at the Oscars for his performance as Richard Williams in “King Richard,” he decided to make headlines in another way. Smith reacted poorly to a joke Rock made about his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith. Rock compared her to GI Jane as a reference to her baldness. Smith took offense and decided to slap Rock across the face on stage.
After the slap, Smith walked back to his seat and Rock continued on with his words. Rogan discussed the slap with former UFC Lightweight champion BJ Penn.
“You can tell he did a lot of boxing. His hands looked good.
I think that needs some work. It didn’t even stagger Chris Rock.”
The Rock has built a physique that is well known by all and has been for decades. Since his time in the ring for WWE, Dwayne Johnson has been able to show off his incredible strength and athleticism. Now, he is seen on the big screen as a larger-than-life actor.
Joe Rogan continues to say that this would not have happened if it was The Rock on stage making those comments.
“There’s no chance in hell… Such a crazy thing, to think you could get away with it.”
This is an incident that has blown over to this point but will not be forgotten for quite some time. Smith has since apologized for his part in the incident, which many could not figure out if it were real or not at first.
Joe Rogan continues to discuss any topic imaginable on his podcast and this time, he decided to weigh back in on Smith’s slap. Maybe it would have all been avoided if The Rock were the one on stage speaking at the time.

Hafthor Bjornsson and The Rock Are On A Collision Course, Plan Future Training Collaboration
The Rock and Hafthor Bjornsson could be training together very soon.
Hafthor Bjornsson and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson appear to be flirting with the idea of collaborating together. After The Rock responded to a Tweet made by Bjornsson it appears that the two could likely be training together in the near future.
There’s no doubt about, The Rock is one of the most popular actors on the planet and with good reason. The professional wrestler has garnered fans from a host of different backgrounds. Of course WWE fans are still diehard stans of the charismatic wrestler. Fans of his action movies also give The Rock a fair share of praise. And even bodybuilding and fitness fans are major fans of enthusiastic fitness lover.
But perhaps most of all The Rock is adored for his optimistic personality. He is always encouraging and pushes himself to be better both physically and mentally. He shares encouragement and offers up advise to those willing to listen, those willing to make a change within themselves.
So naturally 2018 World’s Strongest Man Hafthor Bjornsson is also a fan of The Rock. How could he not be. After all both men share a passion for building strength and improving themselves. The Rock often does so through pumping iron, much like Bjornsson himself. Having that in common, as well as mutual admiration, appears to be leading both men to a collision course.
Future Training Collaboration?
After making a post on Twitter it appears that Hafthor Bjornsson received a very special message from a popular actor. The Rock sent a message to the strongman turned boxer about collaborating in a future training session.
This absolute legend replied to my tweet today. Looking forward to that training session ???.
It appears that The Rock and Hafthor Bjornsson are coining to collaborating very soon.
Would you like to see a collaboration between these two giants of strength?

Jay Cutler On Mike O’Hearn And The Rock Not Discussing Natural Status: ‘For A Long Time, I Did The Same’
Jay Cutler has been open about bodybuilding in retirement and recently discussed Mike O’Hearn and The Rock being natural.
Since retiring from competition, Jay Cutler has been open and honest about the sport of bodybuilding. It does not matter whether it is about his own career, the status of the sport, or other topics gaining attention. In a recent interview, Cutler took the time to discuss the natural status of Mike O’Hearn and The Rock.
Both O’Hearn and Dwayne Johnson are figures that carry great attention when it comes to building an elite physique. O’Hearn is a former Mr. Universe champion who has been featured on the cover of many fitness magazines. The Rock made a great career for himself in the WWE before becoming a star on the big screen. Over the years, he has continued to work on his physique and is larger than life now.
On The Michael Sartain Podcast, Jay Cutler discussed the notion that both Mike O’Hearn and The Rock are natural. This is a topic that Cutler knows well and understands why it is not discussed.
“You know those things I don’t really comment as much on because I understand the positioning. Everyone has their own position and if they choose not to talk about it, I respect that because for a long time I did the same right. I didn’t come out and say I take this or that and I kind of went into interviews knowing that many weren’t going to ask and the ones that I thought might, I was protected where, ‘hey don’t blatantly ask me hey do you take this or that, don’t put me on the spot’ and that’s why I was limited on where I put my publicity.”
Jay Cutler is a four-time Olympia champion and one of the best bodybuilders of all-time. During his career, Cutler dealt with plenty of noise in solving steroids in the sport. This is something he did not discuss when he was competing but it has come out since he is done on stage.
Cutler also discussed how the Olympia was covered and the vibe around the reporters. Steroids and bodybuilding are linked and it was kind of understood heading into shows.
“All the local news stations before the Olympia covered the event but they didn’t touch on that and I think it was kind of known, hey don’t ask these kinds of questions but you have to prepare yourself.”
Jay Cutler did not accuse either The Rock or Mike O’Hearn of using steroids. Nor did he acknowledge the claim that they are all-natural. Cutler simply said that it is not his place to comment on the alleged use of steroids by others. This is a stance that many around the sport should take until the athlete themself wants to come out and discuss it.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Announces He Will Compete In A Bodybuilding Show This Year
Former pro wrestler and jacked action movie star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has officially announced that he will step onto the competitive bodybuilding stage in 2022.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has always been known for his incredible mass monster physique put on display in countless Hollywood action movies. He has also been known to be a lover of competitive bodybuilding – even planning the Athleticon event set to feature a star studded IFBB Pro show (it is unknown if this will still happen after many setbacks). Now it seems that the muscle-bound actor has built up enough passion to actually step onto the competition stage. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson officially announced that he plans to compete in a bodybuilding competition before the end of 2022.
The announcement comes via an interview with the UK-based outlet Bodybuilding Today – who interviewed The Rock during his recent stay in Hawaii. However, he has yet to make the announcement on any of his official social media channels.
The Rock has given no specific information, such as what league he plans to compete in or when exactly we can expect to see him on stage. His only promise was to prepare to step on stage before the end of the year. He went on to state that he has been a life long fan of bodybuilding and respects the dedication and lifestyle required to be an elite competitor. They have long been the same kind of tenets he lived by (giving him one of the most muscular physiques in modern Hollywood).
The Rock continued by stating there would be “no greater honor” than to at least compete on the bodybuilding stage at least once in his life. After many setbacks with his own attempt to start a pro bodybuilding competition and expo (Athleticon) he believed that now was the right time – as he is “not getting any younger.”
The announcement comes just days before Wrestlemania 38 – with many fans and outlets suspecting that The Rock is planned to make an appearance. Most recently, he has been staying in Hawaii, where many WWE fans believe he is preparing for the event. If The Rock does, in fact, appear at Wrestlemania – perhaps it will be during this event that he makes a broader announcement of his competitive bodybuilding plans.
Beyond his previous attempts to kick start a new big budget pro bodybuilding show with Athleticon, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had long been involved with pro bodybuilding in some indirect form. He helped produce the 2016 Mr. Olympia with Dany Garcia and his production company Seven Bucks Productions. He has also occasionally appeared behind the scenes at some NPC/IFBB Pro events.
As it stands, the Rock is 49 years old, so it remains to be seen what category of bodybuilding competition he will attempt to compete in. Will he receive some sort of special invitation by a major league such as NABBA or the IFBB Pro? Or will he choose to simply compete in an amateur competition or masters competition? Despite his age, he’s displayed an incredible physique – should he choose to focus even more squarely on competitive bodybuilding for even just one show, we may see something truly exciting step on stage.
At this moment, little more information is available. Generation Iron will continue to update this story as more updates are announced. Until then, you can see more information in Bodybuilding Today‘s official post below:
