Looks like the true figures have come out finally...

The US Postal Service paid Lance Armstrong's team $40 million over about a 7-10 year period. Of that it is estimated Lance Armstrong received 17 million.

The lawsuit exposes that the US Postal Service received in return $139 million dollars in revenue from the Team and Lance.

So they are +100million and they are still trying to sue Lance for breaking the contract???

How is this possible...You already make a fortune off someone, and then you try to take them for more when they already made you a profit of 350%..

The US Gov't reveals itself as the crooks that they are. Trying to squeeze every last ounce out of someone even though they profited immensely from his so called "breach of contract"

Its the Feds man. They will argue that they should have made 200 million but because of the stigma that he may have doped during that period they didnt make the money. Its fucked up, no other way to put it. They profit like its nobodies business and they want to go after him and sink him for it. I dont get it.

If someone broke a contract with me regardless if I made money off of them I would sue to get that money back. Nothing wrong with that, even if it is the government. If the contract says he needed to be drug free then he owes that shit if they are asking for it. Is it right..mmmm no. Is it their right, yes it is.

a friend of mine speaks to Lance on occasion. He claims that the U.S> Postal Service is sueing bc they feel that they have lost "face" with the public and that there name carries a bad reputation bc Lance was there reputation. I kinda get it but yea, they are reaching for not so much a pocker here but more about making a circus, bringing attention and saying, "Hey we didnt know he was cheating"".

that is our goverment. Didnt file taxes for a few years long time ago. finally went to square up. I owed them money
for 4 of the years and they owed me money for 3 of the years. It pretty much evened out. I THOUGHT. The guy
looks at me and says there is a 3 year statute of limitations. If they owe me money and I dont clame it in 3 years
it is theirs. I asked what the statute of limitations was if I owed them money. He said they didnt have one.
He then asked for my wifes ss number so they could attach her wages. The money I owed was from before I
was married and I had done research so I never "comingled" any of our money. She filed seperate, we never
had joint bank accts. ect. NEVER put our money together. I told him he couldnt mess with her money because
of this. he leaned close to me and said "we can do whatever we want, what can you do about it?" I swear, true
story, scared the shit out of me, I took a loan and paid them off. You wouldnt beleive how much and fast the
penalties and interest was adding up. Cost me double to get clean with them. With our gov. its all about the
money and if your a big name they really want your ass. I love it when they spend millions and cant get someone
ex. Bonds and Clemens. Now that is our tax dollars at work. "FOR THE PEOPLE" went out the window long time ago.
