Insulin Protocol Discussion

I am thinking of starting a slin cycle
Novolin -R I believe is what my Walmart has. Kicks in 15-30 mins and lasts about 3 hours.

Now, from what I have read. The interesting protocol for me would be twice a week on main lift days. So for me it would be Tuesday / Thursday insulin use.

Now this would be 2-3 doses on those main days.

I am thinking for example

7am dose 1 10iu
Eat: 50grams egg protein
drink: BCAA shake
1 serving of Cell-Tech (giving me my sugars, carbs, and creatine)

then my standard routine
9:30am
2 packs oatmeal
1 50gram protein shake

11:30 rice and chicken

(insulin shot?)
3pm rice and chicken

5pm gym

Postworkout (insulin shot?)
1 cell-tech serving
1 50 gram protein shake

hour later postworkout meal

Note:
this is open to discussion and criticism. this would be a 2 days a week insulin protocol only.
 
I wouldn't use anything but Humalog if I were going to use it that many times per day. R is much harder to regulate then the much shorter Humalog . With that said I've only used insulin once and didn't like it
 
So are you suggesting 30 iu. A day or am I reading it wrong? Most guys I know will work up doing like 8 2x a day for a few weeks then maybe 6-8 3x if they feel confident. I just think it smart to work your way up till your absolutely confident with your bodies ability to regulate without going hypo. That being said I know a few fellers doing 10iu. 3x a day and doing well with it but they did work up for quite a while till they figured it all out cuz many over do the carbs out of fear of going hypo which will result in larger fat gains

I have taken 10iu twice a day before without incident.
also, you are SPOT on with how people overdo the carbs and results in fat. This I want to drastically avoid.

I will get the shortest acting I can get OTC from Walmart. I am not going to bother with getting it illegally when I can get 100% legit product from walmart.
 
Plus it's dirt cheap!! Have you used it pre? Many guys say it's amazing but otherwise your protocol looks pretty darn good bud!

I only used it pre-workout last time I ran it. I did like it. but I consumed WAY too many carbs and gained some fat.
So I hope to avoid that this time by incorporating it into my main two lifting days and just keeping the diet as is... except the addition of cell-tech
 
Sounds pretty solid bud! That's always something I've noticed with guys running more then 4 or 5 days a week with slin is just the fat gain which I think your protocol will help greatly reduce. Plus you seem like you already know about the common faults with carb intake that most have.

Yeah, a lot of people Carb up so much I think because of fear and paranoia. but look at the facts. Someone going into insulin shock take what? 5mg dextrose tabs lol. not a lot of carbs...
 
Stay away from slin unless you have hgh!!! Pls!
It will ruin you. Cause you a discusting gut. And make you fat.
It will thickin your waist.
