Well i am not american, i am european and here in EU nobody expected Trump's victory, but in some way i like him. I dont have so many idea how was in usa, from the outside looked good. Teump is the ONLY candidate who wasn't afraid to say what I and everybody I know (almost everybody) believe on important issues, immigration being one of those issues. Trump has called for "seriously vetting" potential muslim immigrants. His detractors have screamed religious discrimination, but seriously vetting this group of people only makes sense, since muslim terrorists have attacked our country and we are at war with muslim terrorists. It's a matter of self preservation. One of the very few things the federal guvmint was originally intended to do is protect US citizens from "foriegn threats". This shouldn't be a discussion. Thoroughly vet muslim immigrants and monitor them closely.
Illegal immigration: I want to be very clear that we're talking about ILLEGAL immigration here. For some utterly insane reason, the Left has decided this shouldn't be a problem, and has invented a term, "undocumemted immigrants", to try to justify it. Undocumemted immigrants are here ILLEGALLY. Thus, they are ILLEGAL immigrants and should be deported. Instead, the Left has decided that because they're already here we should be issuing them driver licenses and giving them public services. Bullshit! These are almost universally Hispanic inmigrants from South America and Mexico. They sneak across our border in AZ and TX and then proceed to take cash jobs, pay no taxes, send large portion of their income back where they came from and as such they TAKE from our society while contributing NOTHING. These people - along with any children they've borne while here illegally - need to be deported. Get in line, apply for US citizenship or a green card like everybody else, and if approved, you're welcome to come here as long as you contribute like the rest of us.
Trump has given a voice to those of us who feel strongly about this. And he's the ONLY ONE to do so. Even former President Bush was pushing a "path to citizenship" for illegals. Fuck that. Deport them. Make them come here legally. THEN let them FOLLOW THE EXISTING PATH to citizenship.

Other reasons I voted for Trump, bith in the Primary (Giru, if you don't know, this is when the parties vote to choose their candidate to run for office. I hope this doesn't come off as condescending, just trying to give info if needed) and in the general election:

This countrybwas never intended to have a professional political class. And yet, exactly that has developed! I believe this professional political class is TOTALLY DISCONNECTED from life in the real world! They are quite obviously totally disconnected from the general population. Obvious because none of them took Trump seriously. In fact, the Republicans at first attempted to derail his candidacy. And all along, politicians, "news media", "analysts" and "experts" alike all said he had no chance. For me, he is a breath of fresh air, despite his glaring flaws, in a sea of homogenous political correctness, where politicians use windy phrases to say nothing, attempt to playcate the population while lining their pockets and driving the country deeper in debt.
Trump being a successful businessman, having experience making a profit - and also going bankrupt, which he did in the late 80's or early 90's, I hope that he will get a handle on the US budget. Our national debt increases at an astonishing rate. There was a widespread misunderstanding during Bill The Crook Clinton's tenure that the US was not in debt, because tjere was a "budget surplus". This was because the federal budget included more BORROWING than it needed! So, Bill Clinton drove us deeper into debt, at the pace of something like 3 trillion dollars per year, while bragging about busget surpluses. And the American people blussfully watched the liberal press spout this bullshit, deliberately misleading the American people while Slick Willy sold us out to China.
On that score, Trump has targeted free trade agreements. This is another reason I support him. Slick Willy is reaponsible for China being admitted into the World Trade Organization. China, which has possible the worst human rights record in tje civilized world, certainly is one of the biggest, if not the biggest global polluters and the most restrictive Communist regimes still in power. And they now hold much of the US national debt! It's not as if US manufacturing was thriving before China came on the scene, but the mass exodus that followed their admittance to the WTO pretty muchbkilled US manufacturing dead, and also resulted in much lower quality - albeit cheaper - manufactured goods. This is now the "standard".
Trump's campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again" to me includes addressing all these issues. The US was, during the Reagan era, a world superpower. America at that time was respected on the world stage - perhaps not loved or even liked by some, but respected nonetheless. Slick Willy, with his hatred for the military (remember, he dodged Vietnam) weakened the US, whichbled to the USS Cole attack, and it's been downhill ever since. No reason to excuse the rant brother especially when it is so well put. You touched on something that in my opinion has created the entire problem in our government and I pray that it is something that can be addressed. That is term limits. Being a a senator or congressman should be an honor but at the same time a burden to the individual. In no way was this ever suppose to become a career path.

Excellent post! I've always been amazed by those that can understand and correctly assimilate the details while discarding the trash that encapsulates it. My mind doesn't work that way. It's all numbers... results, or short factual snippets. I can figure out very complex problems easily because I don't get lost or pay any attention to the minute details that don't qffect the greater outcome.
In my eyes it's very simple. This country has been headed down the toilet for many years and thwt process has increased exponentially in the last 8 years. Obama is responsible for more debt accrual in the last 8 years than all 43 president preceeding him combined...

I have to say, so far The Donald has impressed me. Not much to go on, as yet, but the following have been very "presidential", in my humble opinion:
1st his acceptance speech, in which he called for uniting as a nation, healing the divisions and so forth. Not one ounce of "gloating" whatsoever. Were I in his shoes, I doubt I could exercise as much restraint. Given the left's relentless depictions of him as being brash, uncouth, etc, etc, I thought his speech further made fools of them by proving them wrong. Again.
2nd he demoted Christie. I live in NJ and my wife used to work for the state (she's retired now) and had intimate dealings with the governor's office. Because of this, I know that much of his alleged money saving measures were anything but - it isn't just the left that puts out bullshit propaganda. If Christie were Trump's pick for a running mate, he would have lost my wife's vote for sure and I don't know what I would have done. So, whether Trump is exercising his own good judgement or has chosen wise advisors and is smart enough to listen (something Christie is incapble of), he has shown good judgement.
3rd I heard today that Trump announced that he will accept a salary of $1 per year as president. This certainly demonstrates that he's doing the job to serve the country in my mind. I forget how many millions of his own money je spent campaigning, and obviously he doesn't need the money, but can you imagine Hillary (who also doesn't need the money) doing that?? Now i understand much better everything that is going on there. Well here he is looked as a compeltaly crazy guy, his sentences are really hard, like the wall between Mexico and USA, that mexican are drugs dealers, etc, well, he is really hard speaking, he is not the typical politician speaking over a paper that soembody else wrote before with correct words and bullshit. They take like 20 minutes to speak and at the end of the speech they really didn't say nothing valuable. I like Trump to be honest, he is hard, but to big problems, big solutions. I am from Spain and i know what it is that people cross the broder from Morcco to Spain, need medical attention, reprotation, even some of them get residence, permit, work in black, blablabla, so i see he is only protecting his country.
Respect the arabic people, i have a lot of arabic friends, as i lived in Dubai for a long time, and i also think he is doing well. Arabic people can come with a VISA and legally, and if they go to a NO Muslim country, respect their laws, if they want to continue being muslim, they should go to a muslim country.
