I think during the summer being up there would drive me more crazy.

Having sunlight all day for 24 hours and all night. It'd be hard to sleep.

The nice thing about being in a remote place like that is you can walk a mile in every direction and you'll be all alone.

Being away from people, is a nice breath of fresh air.

It kind of awesome too. New folks get blackout curtains so they can sleep. But it’s cool taking your harley for a ride at 1 am in broad daylight

Hope it’s not too many pics. Here’s a photo for those who have asked about man-camp gyms. This is one of the nicer ones. Man camp in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. They even leave the lights off. I’m usually in there by myself. We are currently in the 24 hour darkness phase. The sun won’t rise until mid March. IMG_3096.webp

View attachment 26794This meal is 7 oz chicken breast grilled with garlic and black pepper. It’s my usual veggie mix, I included a picture of the bag of these Costco vegetables that I use, a cup and a half of them comes up to about 50 cal, hardly any carbs about 3 g of protein, but it’s got some dietary fiber, but at least they’re the complex veggies that I need to put in there. For this meal, I’m gonna get some carbs from the banana. The 7 ounces of chicken is gonna give me about 40 g of protein. And it’s gonna do that for about 190 cal. So it’s a low calorie meal for the most part, before the banana it’ll be about 240 to 250 cal, the banana is gonna add about another hundred calories as carbs. This is my post workout meal today. Today’s legs I’ll post that workout in a little bit. About an hour or so after this meal, I’m gonna add a whey protein shake as well. Making sure that I get the 200 g of protein a day. If I’m gonna be on this much gear, I don’t wanna miss out on any growth at all.
That meal looks really good

@Greg19incharms how was overall training today please share bro? :)
Sorry I missed the day brother, yesterday was a rest day. I was traveling all day. I’m down in the Los Angeles area for the next couple of days. Staying at a hotel that’s actually an event center so they have a pretty good gym. I had arms day this morning And big hotels like this one seem to have a far better workout room than most. So I was really able to blast my biceps and triceps today but when you’re not in your home gym, you don’t get to do some of the cool specialty exercises. So biceps were just dumbbell, spider curls, four sets of 20 warming up, Then seated, reclining, dumbbell curls, Three sets of 20 with really slow eccentric movements. Those definitely wear me out. Next were some cable curls with a rope so they start out like a hammer curl, but you really pull them to the outside when you get up to the top. Four sets of 15 with those with the weights graduating up on the last set. And then I ended with Hammer curls as heavy as I could go. Did three sets of those. Triceps were cable rope push downs, 4 sets of 15-18. then using the same cable and rope but set down low I did one arm standing tricep extensions. Three sets of 15 to 18 reps each. Next was four sets of the standing but bent over overhead tricep extensions, it kind of mimics the French press. I do the last set really heavy and push it to failure. Very last thing I was able to do today for triceps since there was some limited equipment and no longer bar is just dumbbells, I finished off with three sets of bench dips with my feet up on one bench and arms on the other, and I did three sets of about 12 each leaning forward so that it really hit my triceps.
