Some aspects are overly complicated, but some of the progress is good. Peptides, slin and GH have an integral part in bodybuilding now, and that's good. I think all the fad diets and fad training can make things seem complicated though. I remember a post Nuk made actually, about how FST-7, DC and all this crap was unnecessary. Back in the day guys had their ducks in a row, and gave it 100%. I think that sums it up nicely.
