Figured I would check to see what all secrets , tips , information, advice and basics you guys have on these two.

Bulking - what are some simple easy , but yet effective things to do to gain extra mass , or help gain extra mass.

Same goes for cutting.

For example , cutting water weight avoid sodium and increase water intake to get rid of water retention.

example for bulking , increase sodium intake for water retention and the other benefits which i think include stronger muscular contractions?

http://chemo.net/sodium-.htm worth while source ? or information?

Have you looked into doggcrapp training? It is the secret to getting big. Consistently lifting more weight each week builds strength, and with strength comes size.

Bro if you are really 19 you need to be careful. Bulking go for 2x bodyweight in protein intake and eat carbs. Not crap complex carbs.

I eat clean I dont eat any junk food , I.E. , no sweets , unless its directly after a workout where its going to be some time before I can get any real food.

I try to have most of my carbs come from meals I eat , pot pie ,rice, vegetables , oatmeal. I stay away from sugary foods. The worst thing I can probably think that I eat is white bread which is a good energy source for workout pre and post though right?

I do the best I can but I know that my diet is still off , but considering that I am currently unemployed and not the buyer of food , I have to deal with what I can get.

This comes without saying: Get a job then so you can afford to buy the food. I don't know if you are in college or not, but no one said it isn't possible go to school/college and work at the same time. Many have done it, myself included. You do what it takes if you really want it. At your age bro, now is the time. You can naturally put on a lot of size if you put your mind to it. I wish I had built up in my twenties to what I have now.

There are no jobs where I live. For going back to school im trying to find out what I would wanna do to try and go back to school.

I even had part time jobs when I was in High School. No one else was giving me $.
I have found that the concentration of the high (decent quality) protien intake has
gotten me gains in muscle (while doing heavy workouts). I would log everything I
would eat during the day and break it down into protien, carbs and fats. It is not as big
a pain as it sounds. I would try for 2 1/2 times my body weight in grams of protien.
That is the only way I would make noticiable gains, on the scale and by peoples
comments.

The way the economy is where I live in . Especially because I live in a rural area , I have to travel almost 10 miles just to get to civilization lol.

Because of this combined with bad economy here , I cant find a job , dont have a ride to get a job because my dad has to drive 45-60 away from home to his job and back. I dont have license or permit , because I cant be put on familys insurance because they dont have the money.

its a catch22 , since I live where I live im stuck. Ive put applications out in about 5 place within the last week but they arent hiring. Even if I do get the job I have no way of getting there unless I sleep outside of the place in a cardboard box till i get paycheck big enough so I can start driving.

Keep after it bud. Abe Lincoln had to walk 10 miles to get to school in the snow! If you want to win in life, you have to just learn to play with the cards that you've been dealt.

So by this I am assuming that you work out at home. My best workouts are done in my garage, with my squat rack/bench. Thats all you need to get big. You don't need a bunch of fancy machines, although they are nice.

bikes are great cardio. Not making fun. I road a bike to my first 2 jobs I had in high
school that were on the other side of town and in the next town. I liked it better then riding a bus and figured I was working legs, which could always use the work. I do
remember it was pretty discouraging when it was raining, but I did it. Sometimes you
just have to do what you have to do, if you want it bad enough, rather then telling
yourself why it wont work. When I was looking for work I would hit at least 4 places
every other day (took a day off between) and even if there was nothing I would feel
like I acomplished something just by trying. It made me feel better. Good luck bro.

One more sugestion. My neighbor would also look for a job but I always seeme to be
the one to get a job. Talking to him I realized it was in the attitude. He told me he
would start by saying "I know your not going to hire me but...". I couldnt believe it.
I would sell the crap out of myself. My first job was as a janitor. When I applied I
told the guy I LOVED to clean. I cleaned my mom's house, even the bathrooms cus
I loved it. In reality I couldnt even keep my room clean - god, I hated that job.
Another job I got bussing tables and doing dishes I told the guy I loved doing the
dishes because of how nice it got my hands. (I HATED DOING DISHES).
Not to hijack this post, but if your looking for a job project yourself as POSITIVE and
cant wait to do some work. I have to hire guys sometimes and what I look for is
a good attitude. I will take good attitude and less experience over bad attitude and
lots of experience. Mabey you do this already - just trying to help.

Yes they are. Very relaxing too, and makes me feel like a kid again. If you already are a kid, I don't gues that helps much. I rode my bike 20 miles the weekend before last. I am slowly turning my bird legs into dinosaur legs. That's really some damn good info Mr. McG. You can get a brand new 18 speed at Academy Sports for $60. You could find a job at Subway, and get your nutrition there for free. Like Mr. McG said, attitude is everything.

I actually go to gym that people call the dungeon , I got a copy made I go in anytime I want , metal cage covering the windows , the door , 2 working light bulbs out of like 50 , messy , no mantainance but its basic and has alot of equipment. Good for me for now since I dont have a job yet.

BUT.... I can only go on days my dad gets back from work since hes my only ride , he works earliest he gets out is 430 , lastest ive seen him get home is about 830 , he goes to sleep at 9 every nite for work getting up 430 in morning again. So every monday ,wednesday and friday.

I have to wait for him to get home and ask him to take me , thats if he even gets home early enough , and feels like it. But its not a steady enough of a ride to be able to have a ride to work.

Im actually thinking about trying to become a strength and conditioning coach for like highschool. Because I think it would be a job i would like doing. Could always also do personal training on the side after developing some clientell. Which for a start I think that might be a career I might want.

For one I dont have a bike , never have, and never rode one lol... but that could work.

damn you never rode bikes when you were little shit me and my buddies used to ride just our bmx bikes 15 miles to the next town and back man would we sleep like babies when we got home.

I remember reading Mike Menzer (if you remember him) saying that when he started
heavy training for big contest (it was one of his journals) like Olympia ect. he would
ride a bike for like 20 miles or more at the end of the day.
Hey Nightmare, that gym sounds awsome. That is what a gym is suposed to be -
even better if it stinks like sweat too. Not one of todays health clubs.

Never had the money to get one , I like the gym its just that , some of the equipment isnt the best , and need some maintanence but its basic and works good enough. Needs to be cleaned too dont want any skin/staff infections or none of that.

ahh just get in there and hit that shit hard. My gym hates me i always wipe down the seats and stuff i sit in but i sweat so much they would have to follow me around with a mop to clean up everything from me. After deads theres literally a puddle i love it.

Sounds like a ronnie coleman gym i wish mine was more hardcore.

Dude I sweat like a pig myself. My karate teacher was actually thinking about letting me wear shoes because I can't plant from all the sweat. (speaking of work)I worked in High School 40 hours a week my senior year and kept a 4.0. How about asking the place you workout at if they can give you something to do. It might also help on your gym membership or even eliminate it, even if you just do some little small work jobs for them.
