Build Muscle With Machines: Beyond Free Weights
By George Touliatos, MD
Q: Is it necessary to train exclusively with free weights?
A: In bodybuilding, training is a fundamental parameter of muscular development – training with weight under resistance. We’ve been taught that free weights and multi-joint exercises is the key, yet this is not absolute. You can implement training equipment into your workout. As we get older, joints become rusty and fragile. Connective tissue is vulnerable to injury. Moreover, during pre-contest periods of dieting, we need to be extra cautious to avoid injuries. Panatta equipment ensures safety and proper biomechanics. Their equipment provides smooth kinesiology and smooth motion. I’ve had the privilege to be trained by founder Rudy Panatta in his home gym in Italy. The experience was unique and beyond any expectation. I’ve been training since 1989 with all kinds of machines worldwide. Panatta equipment is by far the best in terms of safety, range of motion and angles of stimulation. I highly recommend Panatta equipment for advanced bodybuilders.
