Chiropractors

I have had what I would call a "catch" in my left lower back for about 5 months now. Ive been on nsaids at least five times, stretch all the time, bengay, motrin, and any thing else someone recommends. I am beginning to think about sucking it up and buying a really good pillow (I think this is part of it) and seeing a chiro. Anyone swear by them or hate them. I need some input.

I haven't been in a while, but I absolutely love chiropractors. You feel better after just the first visit and it gets better with each visit.

never been much into them but with the way my lower back has been lately ive thought about visiting a few times.

i have never gone myself either but a buddy of mine swears by his and is always trying to talk me into goin... one of these days i will make my way there

There is one here locally. Im going to see if anyone has feedback and then make a decision. Im guessing insurance usually doesn't cover it?

for the one asking if insurance covers it..........depends on state and your personal insurance(I'm a chiro). It is basically covered in all states but it can be heavily plan dependant on what exactly is "covered". Some states are great.......with it covering massage therapy, chiro and basically everything else for little or no out of pocket expense.....others......not so great.

I swear by mine. I go every two weeks and feel like a million bucks after I leave.
Yup, and we use the same guy. I haven't been out to see him in a couple of months, and I can tell, because I'm having aches and pains that I don't get when I see him on a regular basis.

My insurance covers my trips... both the adjustment AND the 1 hour deep tissue massage that I get there. I just have to pay my $15 co-pay every time I go.

I loved mine when I was going. I'd still be going if they hadn't screwed up the bill and tried charging me over $300

Im in Louisiana and have blue cross via my work's plan. She is suppose to check for me. I swung a golf club warming up the other day and was locked up for a few days. Celebrex helped after a while but it killed my stomach. Killer reflux.
