Wends - delt and triceps (didnt write down, so kinda forgot all sets and reps)

Symthe front press -
Dumbell laterals -
bodymaster rear delt machine -
Tricep rope pushdowns -
Overhead cable tricep extensions -
flex seated dip machine -

It was a great workout, had a great pump..did all movements slower with more control. Im trying to really focus on feeling the movements, and squeeze the hell out of the muscle...just something different than pushing around alot of weight
 
Friday (quad and calf workout)

Standing calf raises - 800 x 15 + 5 (rest paused these last 5 reps, went slow and very controlled)
Angled calf raise machine - 180 x 25 x 25 (did two main sets here, went lighter and really squeeze the crap out of my calves)
Super Squats - 270 (3 plates a side) x 15 x 15 (did two main sets, went all the way down, ass to the floor, and slow)
Feet low leg press - 450 x 20 x 20 (went slow, and low. put feet low to hit lower part of quad, and teardrop)
Leg Extensions - 80 x 15 x 15 (slow and controlled, squeeze the crap out of my quads)

good workout, felt kinda sick when I was done...I think going super slow reps really did me in...
 
ok trained chest and biceps on saturday...and back and traps on sunday...

my weight is around 246lbs again...dropped down a few pounds as of today (4-4-12) ...im leaning up, pretty well this far out...give ya more details about training later tonight....as i have changed it up a little bit..doing rest pauses, and more DC style workouts again....just a change of pace...

sorry guys, havnt kept up with this the past week. Been pretty crazy around here, but I can catch up now.

its actully 13 weeks right now, and diet has been good for the most part. Im really starting to get into the grove of it all, and training has been great.

did back and traps yesterday...weight is 245lbs now, but leaner, and I feel full and pretty big for this weight...
 
Trained delts and triceps today, kinda D.C. style...rest pauses, statics, and negatives. Very intense workout. Weight today is 245lbs, looking actully very full, and getting leaner...
 
ok 12 weeks out now...so its time to get down right serious about my diet...I will get back to updating this on a regular basis now, with workouts and diet info...

Worse then women! lol, I know I do! When i was dieting I would tell my wife i was going to kill her and then carb up on her body if she didnt leave me alone,lol.

So yeah we bitch and get cranky, Im pretty sure Ive read chris say he doesnt get to crabby during strict diet, atleast i think he is the one, sorry if im mistaken chris
 
ok guys bringing back my training log...I dont know what show im doing yet, but for the next 10-12 weeks, im going into a all out mass blast to put on as much muscle as possiable...I dont know how it will end up, but the goal is to get up to 265-270 over the next 3 months, and see where im at...Right now im sitting right at 250lbs again...was down to 238lbs a week ago, but I have been eating again...and the fullness came right back...ok back to training log...for the next 8 weeks, my training partner and I decided to do D.C. training again. I did it for a 4 year peroid from 2004 to about 2008 or so...I did get up to 280lbs at one point (but I was pretty bloated) but I did carry alot of mass, and muscle on my frame...Not going to do that, but I do want to gain as much as possiable and see if this training can do it again...so here is workout number 1....Legs...

Legs (routine 1)
Standing calf raises - 120 x 15, 240 x 15, 320 x 15 (warm ups) 600 x 8 (these are done with a negative hold at the bottom for 8 seconds, very slow and controlled reps, with a nice hold and squeeze at the top of the movement)

Cyber Lying leg curls - 60 x 15, 75 x 15 (warm ups) 100 x 11 x 3 x 2 (Rest paused, with a negative hold on the last rest pause)

90 degree leg press - 180 x 15, 360 x 15, 450 x 15 (warm up) 540 x 20 (done very controlled, with a slow negative and a blast to the top)

thats it...pretty simple, but effective...
 
Workout 2 - chest, delts, and triceps

Hammer Incline Press - 325 x 9 x 2 x 2 - rest paused/static hold
Cybex Front press - 150 x 11 x 3 x 2 - rest paused/static hold
Cable seated tricep extensions - 70 x 10 x 4 x 4 - rest paused

this was done after work, so I was pretty beat up. So we didnt do any widowmaker's or anything extra. But still a great workout...weight this morning 253.5lbs
 
sorry guys, I havent been posting in this as much...I have been in a funk for the past couple weeks. Since I decided to take this year off, and focus on size, it has really put me in a different mood. I mean, I want to just focus on putting on as much muscle as possiable, and come back next year better than ever. But, when I give myself alot of time, I want to slack on trainign and eating. that im doing more harm than good, on gaining muscle. I normally gain better when I got a show in mind. I do have my state show as my first show next year (2013) but that is in april of next year...so I need to get my mind in the right frame and get to it...any words of motavation for me...

thought about hiring someone to do your off season prep for you, to hold you accountable?
 
Agree with Nuk, I have my trainer year round now, just the payments to her alone keep me on track! This is the most important time for you to grow, I can see getting in a funk but keep your eye on the prize.
