As many of you know, I had a firefighter screening back in January. Thyroid was clean in my full body Ultrasound, though I have small nodules spread all over my lungs. This is typical in 1 out of 3 people, but I’m considered high risk from a career of firefighting. My chest CT was worse. My cardiac calcium score was 362…not good. That’s part of why I competed again. It’s the only way I know how to get somewhat healthy. I don’t know how much more time I have left on this earth, but I’m going to make the most of it.
I'm currently Cruising at 188Lbs, up 8 since competing 2 1/2 weeks ago. I just jumped onboard with Team USP and will be putting something together over the next few weeks.

Excellent choice of team! 😉 Super—we're really happy to have you joining us.

I think you'll bring a lot of knowledge and experience to the team, and I'm sure we'll have a strong and productive collaboration.

Wishing you all the best, and welcome aboard! 😊

Pic from today’s Delts & Chest workout.
@Mobster wants to see weight along with sets and reps, so don’t laugh. I have to be careful with my shoulders now and go up in small increments. My strength is still coming back from competing.

Standing DB Laterals:
20x9, 25x9, 30x8, 35x7, 40x4.
30* Incline BB Bench Press:
115x12, 135x12, 155x8, 185x8, 205x7, 225x4
6 sets of Weighted Dips

I did 60 minutes on the Treadmill last night.
Legs today:
Leg Press Calf Raises x6
Leg Press x6
Smith Machine Squats x4

I add 1 plate each set. I'll do 15-20 reps of Calf Raises, rest about 30 seconds, and then 12-15 Leg Presses with the same weight. My Calves will eventually go to failure, and I'll continue with Leg Presses.

Smith Squats, don't laugh, my Quads are already fried at this point. I start with 135, 185, 225 and end with 275.

I have to start with the Leg Press first because I'm old and need to ease into it. Gone are the days of getting right into a Squat Rack and going for broke.

I didn’t do my usual SLDLs today, because I’ll be Deadlifting tomorrow with my Back workout.
