getting called out by the wife is good lolI got into with my wife last night about a PT EP position I was offered. She told me I need to focus on my prep, LOL. I was pissed, missed my workout, and ordered a pizza with just grilled chicken and buffalo sauce. I waited until the morning to tell her she was right.
I'll be 12 weeks out on Saturday and won't be having any more cheat meals. She knows I'm committed when entering this stage of my prep and has removed all the junk food from our house. She surprisingly pulled out all my old trophies from storage last week and placed them on a shelf in the basement. She said, "These need to be out." We'll be married 35 years in August.
I hit Back today starting with wide-grip pulldowns. I really focused on my Lats with each repetition. For some strange reason, I had the urge to do deadlifts. I started with 135 going up in 50 lb increments for 8-10 slow and controlled reps. I finished with 315. I was smoked from either the Heat or low Carbs. Probably both. I spent a lot of time on the row machine doing 8-10 reps 1-Arm at a time. That all took about 60-70 minutes.
I finished with 60 minutes of Cardio. I should weigh-in at about 188 on Saturday. This will be the lightest I've been in years and I'm not digging it, but it's nice seeing my Abs againDoing a prep is an emotional rollercoaster and the support I've gotten here is much appreciated. Thank you.
i once dated a navy chick who was crazy. she would wake me up early everyday to workout
