Could I compete ?

Honest opinions guys. Posting a few pics, I'd guess I'm around 12%bf right now (correct me if I'm wrong though. Been eating clean but not limiting carb intake too much. I would be aiming to compete towards the end of the year so got some time to add a bit of mass and then cut 12 weeks out.

I was thinking either classic physique as the weight limit at my height (5'11") is 207lbs and I'm currently waking up at 220 or fluctuating a pound or two either way. currently running sustanon at 600mg a week, around 3 weeks in.

I know now how to get my weight down, had to cut 20+lbs in a mere week before fights before though I would never consider doing it in such an extreme manner for this.

let me know what you think guys

Bro you could definitely compete with just a small cut and like said above as long as wheel match otherwise you could still do physique... Looking great !!!

I'll work on getting pics of legs to post soon, mirror was at a weird angle to get legs in the pic is all. Thought about physique but the lack of posing kind of bugs me.

thanks guys

Yea you can! If you go to some of the smaller shows and see some of the guys that go out there you will be like wtf. I was at one not long ago and some of the guys looked like they just walked in from off the beach drinking margaritas. You are a good height also with those short muscles that will grow rapidly. Go for it brother.

looking good jake! and unless your doing mens physique, then yeah we need to see those legs baby!

but nice build bro! and Masher is correct, some of the guys you see on stage at local bodybuilding shows look like they lost a bet and had to get up there, lol,

I think you could do it. As for the posing, it just takes some time to learn. You'll get it.

Pose brother and when your sick of posing pose some More. My 2nd show I learned a lot. Their were 3 guys who had were already qualified for nationals. They were doing this show just for a tune up is what they said. And brother these guys looked amazing. Back stage while the rest of us were pumping up with weight those 3 guys stayed to themselves a d just posed but did it just like sets by the time we hit the stage they were grainy road maps. Point pose

What is your reason for wanting to compete? If it's something you want to try or a personal challenge I say hell ya. I think everyone should do it at least once. If your goal is to see how you stack up and get any type of real validation I would say skip it. It's hard Bro.. the diet, the mood swings, the way your head plays with you... even the way people treat you when they realize what you are doing. You will learn quickly that most people are haters. And if you REALLY want to do it suck it up and pay a coach.. I'm telling you Bro. I had one for my first couple shows and did WAY BETTER than I thought I would. Then I thought I could do it myself for the Southern States and it was a miserable failure. Be prepared for the costs as well. It's crazy expensive

to dudes point my first show cost me over 1500 $ and thats not including supps ....But hey it was worth every penny i will do another in aug or nov not sure yet.. i hired a nutritionist but next time i will have a guy to help with posing thats where i sucked and it showed my physique was better but i placed lower due to posing sucking

Since I stopped fighting I've been missing having a focus on my training. I always enjoyed the grind while fighting as masochistic as that may sound lol. It's more of a personal challenge and to see the kind of condition that I could get into if I push the limits. It may be the only one I do or it may not, just have to see.

It is crazy expensive yup my last one was cost around 1750 travel hotel Npc card entry fees and no supps

i have a friend 39 doing his first show in 8 weeks former football player and power lifter now cancer survivor he lost a lot of weight and could never get his strength back fully so he is decided to try something different. he has a nice frame and the mature muscle but he cant seem to get rid of love handles. id say from the front you actually look better than him right now. he is also having problems with posing its not as easy as one would think

my answer in short yes you can compete

why did you stop fighting?

why did you stop fighting?

I had a back injury and it was either back surgery or no competition. I can still live a normal life and lift weights excluding squats and deadlifts, I just can't do the 3x a day grind for a 12 weeks fight camp so I opted out of surgery as there was a 60% success rate and a 6 month recovery time with no training whatsoever

also like the sleeve Tat Bro I just got my first one and its a tribal that covers my whole shoulder and goes down my back into my lat already wanna add to it..shit is addicting LOL
