do I have this reconstitution correct?

I have four vials of ghrp-6 on the way and 40ml of bac to reconstitute with it.


I need 250 mcg a dose- vials are 5 mg

5mg = 5,000mcg

Add 2cc BAC water

5,000 /2 = 2500 per cc / 10 = 250mcg per tic/unit or 1/10th of a cc or 1/10 0f a ml (all same thing)
does this look correct to you all? 1/10 of a cc=250mcg if done in this fashion?


Also when I add BAC water I do not have any idea how to reconstitute it- can anyone give me steps on how to do this? Vials are vaccume sealed i think
 
Seems right to me. After adding the BAC, gently swirl it around to dissolve the powder.

everyone stands correct, however crg left out some crucial information. you don't just simply swirl the vial.

When reconstituting peptides, it is ESPECIALLY important, that you do not just spray the bacteriostatic water into the little disc of lyophilized peptide, as this will inevitably degrade it. What you need to do is hold the vial tilted at an angle so that you can slowly let the water drip out of the needle onto the side of the glass vial and then slowly trickle down the side of the vial into the powder. This way, you don't compromise the structural integrity of the amino acid sequence by having the water contact the powder in a volatile manner.

Also when swirling, do it quite gently; there is ABSOLUTELY no need to vigorously shake the vial, because as I am sure you can guess, this again will destroy some of the peptide. They are very fragile compounds, and all you really need to do is slowly let the water surround the disc, and then everything will readily and quite easily dissolve.
