Estrogen And Aromatase Inhibitors

I know this issue has been addressed within some format in the past but I can't seem to locate it. What I want to ask is which among the anti-estrogen and aromatase agents seems to do the job most effectively without negatively impacting cholesterol levels or blunting the effects of androgens? I'm pretty familiar with tamoxifen and a handful of the more common items. But what's the real scoop? Any help could prove very useful.

Anastrozole (Arimidex) is the gold standard in my opinion as it prevents conversion rather than block estrogen receptors. Great for preventing HPTA crash and for preventing puffing up.

femara, a.k.a. letrozole is the drug of choice. It not only is the best estrogen aromatase inhibitor, it also is easy on your lipid levels, and actually increases Igf-1. As for dosing, 1.125-2.25 mg today should suffice.

Thank you gentlemen for all your advice, good leads and all the time you put into it. One more question. As ColdHeartBear indicated, some prefer blocking agents as opposed to inhibitors and there are some very good arguments for this approach. So does any one have any particular combinations of anti-estrogen agents which they favor? Why? Thanks in advance.

I dont really favor any combination, but I have read that using both Femera and Nolvadex at the same time will lessen the effects of the femera. I would just pick one estrogen blocker and give it a try, if you get gyno symptoms then add nolvadex asap.

I use dim saturated in either coconut or olive oil when I am on a 4ad and test cycle.
I am prone to estrogen bloating and have had no problems with such on the described regimen.

Thanks for the education and useful suggestions. The opinions and literature everyone has provided strongly indicate that there is significant variation in how each individual re-acts to all of the above mentioned agents but I now have enough information to decide on a course of action and some fall-back remedies if things start to go wrong. For some time I have been aware of the variety of choices. However, untill now I haven't had enough knowledge to go foreward. Thanks!

i like adex personally. I ran it through out my last cycle and it was amazing at keeping water down, sure i gained less weight than my previous cycle however my strength increases were'nt hindered. i looked a hell alot better too.
