So CH3NO2, I was a social butterfly today while getting a pedicure and started talking to the girl next to me. She was wearing gym clothes so I asked her where she worked out and she said she did Crossfit. I brought you up and told her how I hear it's brutal. She said she threw up today, LOL....Anyway, I got her number and I'm going to try it Monday morning. First class is free so why not...I'm scared! I'll let y'all know how it goes.
I almost died today. That class is brutal! They showed me some moves (I don't remember any names) and I've learned that I'm not coordinated. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I actually worked out for the entire class. The last 15-20 min kicked my butt. There were 5 stations (jump rope, walking lunges, sit ups, push ups and pull up ring rows or something like that) and you had to do each one for 60 seconds w/ 15 seconds rest in between...had to do all that 3 times! It was hard! I didn't know it, but I went to the girls class so I'm not sure if they had us doing the same stuff as the guys...either way, it sucked (LOL), but I did enjoy my Crossfit experience in a sick sorta way. Oh and CH3NO2, you're lookin good btw!
I have skipped this entire week. Besides I worked 15 hours on Monday, helped a friend who was in the ER with him until nearly midnight on Tuesday, and my right shoulder is killing me. I think I have a slight AC separation. I cannot ever grab a cereal bowl out of the kitchen cabinet that is just over eye level. I am eating Alleve like its going out of style and its not helping. I have no idea what I did. I did a cross fit workout last Friday. Had no issues and by Friday night I was in some major pain. Its gotten worse and is very painful in the AM when I first wake up. No way I could make it through a crossfit workout without doing more damage to it.
Sucks to be hurt. I was making good progress. Got to listen to my body and take it easy for a little bit.
